After finding a roach in my shrimp plate

Finding a roach in my shrimp plate. And asking for my full money back, but no they just gave me my 17.00 pretty shady

A wonder place to eat at. Many choices and they even have sushi and a chef that could cook in front of you

The food was fresh. Not crowded at all when we went, so ample seating. Tried Teriyaki chicken, Sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef, and Bbq ribs , all were tasty and so fresh. Fruits were fresh and sweet. They took a bit to pick up used plates but when they did it was with a smile. Definitely will go back.

Omg!! This place has roaches crawling on their food when is the busiest their were roaches on their bread and roaches crawling on their sushi. We are never coming back it's really disgusting and the customer service sucks. They didn't even apologize or nothing didn't even try to refund peoples money we lost our appetite and left wish I would have the photo of the cockroach and post it

    Cockroach on sushi plate

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We went out to have dinner at this buffet and went to get sushi in the back by the wall first. Before we were able to get food we saw a cockroach on one of the sushi plates. That is disgusting and unacceptable. We got our money back and left, however this is unsanitary and this place should be shut down. I am glad we saw the cockroach before we even started eating. I will be reporting this place to the health department.

I'm guessing we needed to know this in case we had been poisoned by the food.

It's a Chinese buffet. Food is hot, sushi cold, they have a grill for your individual plates. Pretty busy weekends. V nice staff.

With the recent storms, we decided to get the Dinner for 3 Family Meal delivered and ordered on the website. Listed at $41.99, you receive many items: 3 egg rolls, 3 crab rangoons, a large order of egg drop soup, large combination fried rice (chicken, medium sized shrimp, huge pieces of pork), small side of white rice, and 3 main entrees: large sweet and sour chicken, large garlic shrimp, and a large Mongolian beef. We also received some dried crispy noodles for garnish, 2 almond cookies, 4 fortune cookies, some soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce packets, 4 forks, but only one napkin! The food had good flavors and generous in size. For $41.99, with delivery fees, taxes, convenience fee, and tip, our order was $57.46. The Mongolian beef had a lot of onions as filler, but luckily we enjoy onions. It had a good kick of spice in the sauce and the beef was tender. The garlic shrimp also had too many vegetables, but the shrimps were a fair medium size, not the tiny sized shrimps! The combination fried rice was simple, could have used more flavor, but the pieces of pork, chicken, and shrimp were also large and plentiful! Everything came hot and fresh! I asked for the sweet and sour sauce on the side so the chicken could stay crispy. The chicken was classic - very light, fluffy, and airy, but some of the tinier pieces were on the tougher and drier side which is typical. Giving it a 4 stars because while the meat is large in size, too many vegetables are thrown in as filler. Next time, my family and I would love to dine in here and try the Cajun seafood boil. Ultimately, I think we found our new neighborhood Chinese spot! I hope the lunch specials are a decent size.

The seafood boil was good. Great service and the regular dishes on the menu are yummy, tooread more

But I just don't go traversing into Chinese restaurants with no prior vouching or endorsement from someone I know. Or at least I usually don't.... So I headed to NCW one Saturday and had a large shrimp fried rice and two shrimp eggrolls. The rice was just this side of being totally bland. Which is surprising given that they had sprouts, pods, scallions and a few of the other ingredients I find in the rice I like. But it had only the slightest hint of flavor. The shrimp were tiny and pink which suggested they were either boiled beforehand and added in or just weren't cooked long enough. I would guess the latter, especially since I had a few sections of rice that had were still white due to not being mixed with the soy sauce and fried long enough. Adding soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce helps, but good rice should stand on its on. This rice did not. As for the eggrolls? Meh. I don't know this to be the case, but the eggrolls felt like something a restaurant would order from a large supplier, and then fry them to order. I could be wrong, but I said that because in addition to the eggrolls being extremely bland, they had absolutely nothing colorful or distinctly flavorful within. It was fried perfectly, but had absolutely no punch or flavor, save for adding some sweet and sour sauce. All in All the food was underwhelming but passable. It didn't taste bad, the problem is it barely had any taste at all. The question is: would i order it again? Me thinks not. If I were in a remote town and this was like one of the two Chinese options then maybe. Problem is this is Chicago and you can't go more than a few miles or stoplights without passing a Chinese restaurant. A delicious one at that.

We were there for some Chinese food. They give you complimentary hot tea when you sit down. The service was ok at best. Nice inside not very big but it's clean and has some cozy booth type seats along with open table seating. We ordered some Jumbo shrimp fried rice, Singapore noodles, pad se eew and a sampler appetizer platter. The appetizer platter came with 2 egg rolls, 2 dumplings, 2 bbq ribs, 2 shrimp toast, 2 crab Rangoons & 2 fried shrimp. The egg rolls were fresh and full of meat!! Very crispy and delicious! 7/10 I didn't have the dumplings I don't care for them myself but my wife likes them she gave them a 6.7/0 she said she's had better. The Ribs had a nice bite and flavor to them just a tad tough for me. 6/10 The shrimp toast was my favorite of the appetizers the were crispy not greasy and the shrimp was definitely there. I enjoyed the flavor of them. 8/10 The crab Rangoon however were a disappointment to me. They were definitely missing the green onion and crab! lol. Mostly cream cheese but fried well 4/10. The fried shrimp were ok. Average 5/10 They give you a lot of food for your money! As all the dishes had a great amount of protein in them! They don't skimp on the meat at all. The jumbo shrimp fried rice a great flavor and nice texture. You can taste smokiness in it. 7.5/10 The Singapore Noodles was loaded with shrimp, chicken and bbq pork, egg and veggies. It had a kick to it from the curry very flavorful and the texture of the noodles were spot on! 7.5/10 the pad se eew was also loaded with beef! (You have the option of protein) the beef was very tender, the sauce had a nice spice level and the noodles were perfectly cooked. 8/10 all in all i would definitely recommend checking them out! My bill was a little over $63 and well worth it. I'm definitely returning to them. Remember ALL reviews are SUBJECTIVE

First, I was told they were waiting for a table to open up. Then they were waiting on a cook. Finally, a staff member said the people at our reserved table were still eating and they were waiting for them to get up. When I asked when our table would actually be ready, she laughed, threw her hands up, and said she didn't know. What made the situation even worse was watching other customers walk in and be seated while we continued to wait. From what I observed, Black families were waiting extended periods of time, while White and Mexican customers were seated much more quickly. A party of 15 that arrived well after us was even seated before my group. I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by the treatment my family received on my mother's birthday. This would have been her first hibachi experience, and instead it was ruined by poor customer service and what appeared to be unfair treatment. I will never return and would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
