Where Faith and Learning Really Click…read more As an alumni I can say this university is the perfect mix of Christ-centered values and serious academics. Professors don't just teach--they mentor, weaving faith into every lesson and pushing you to think big. You'll graduate not only ready for a great career but also inspired to live out your faith and make a real difference. It's not just school--it's a launchpad for a purposeful life.

LaSierra No wonder…read morethis school is on the verge of collapsing! First of all, my child graduated cum laude from this university and explicitly told me that, despite their strong Christian foundation, they constantly struggled in religion classes because of the twisted concepts being force-fed and taught to students--ideas that fundamentally contradict core SDA beliefs. Second, for a Christian institution to demand an exorbitant, premium tuition and dorm fees that outpaces CSU or UC schools, while delivering substandard quality, is completely unacceptable. It is hypocritical that they preach the SDA health message yet actively serve highly toxic, ultra-processed fake eggs and GMO soy products. To call their vegetables "fresh" is an outright lie; they are nowhere near fresh. Furthermore, despite masking themselves as a "Christian" school, they completely abandon the most vulnerable students by refusing to offer targeted financial aid to those in desperate need, such as orphans and students entirely lacking parental support. The leadership running Adventist education must repent immediately and beg for the Lord's guidance. Only when they face their failures will they stop running this institution into the ground and finally become a true light to the community.

I didn't find this the least bit useful. It was just us students taking turns to read from a book. This I thought we could do ourselves. I would prefer we got a chapter to read and discuss it the next day or get tested on it. Other than that, I have no complaints. Andrea is courteous and likable and so is Ms. Julie. The good thing about becoming a CNA was that it would come in handy for nursing school. I'm in my 4th (4/5) semester at an RN program. Being a CNA gave my application a little boost since my program uses the point system. Don't waste your time taking a CNA course at a community college. You're wasting four months of your life on something you can do in 4 weeks. Sure you'll be saving a penny here and there by taking it at a community college but think of this: You have 3 extra months to make money as opposed to using them up training at a community college. Do yourself a favor. It's quick and easy and my experience as a CNA helps me work better with patients during my clinical rotations.

She was very helpful and informative since day 1. The Directors of the school are very nice and even made us a home cooked lunch during one of our theory days. Our instructors were Danielle and Victor. They were a great team. Thanks to them our entire class passed the CNA test.

Not only was the lady I spoke with very unprofessional; inadequate for her job- she kept calling me MOM with a very rude tone!! As a grown woman call me by my last name like you did when I first picked the phone up!!!!! Very unprofessional!!! she would not give me any reassurance that the other child would be reprimanded or at least spoken to. She laughed when I said this is very inappropriate for a first grader to do what is going to happen with him, she laughed!!!! This woman literally laughed like it was a joke!!!!? Like it's not that serious. I asked several times WHAT the ladies name was who I spoke with, and the assistant principal would not give me her name. She put me on hold so when I called back, they would not give me her name either, so I have taken it up to the school district.!!! I also just got off the phone with the principal who finally got in contact with me 45 minutes later and he seems to only be one sided and has no resolution I would not recommend the school to anyone -keep your kids safe!!!! Eva in the front is also not the brightest.. I'm not sure how she even works there?? I'll just get the names when my sons home from school and go from there. But I wanted to spread the word to everyone!!!!!!

OMG, was I wrong!! The campus is breathtakingly beautiful, reminiscent of California Lutheran University, a place that I absolutely adore. The stunning architecture, picturesque gardens, and majestic trees create a serene ambiance. The friendly and helpful individuals strolling around campus, the students socializing, engaging, and beaming with joy, all contribute to a campus culture that resonates deeply with our family values. Having had the privilege of traveling back and fourth to CLU for the past 11 years watching CM achieve his Bachelor's and a Master's, and AM having earned his BA with a masters in cyber security and is about to achive a second Master's degree, the prospect of looking for a new university for them to pursue a PhD is daunting; because we are all involved so deeply at Cal Lutheran. However, the possibility of embracing CBU as new academic home for the next five years is undeniably exhilarating. OMG, this is truly an electrifying prospect!!
