Anatomy can be one of the most…read moreintimidating subjects for nursing students, but he has an incredible ability to break down complex material in a way that makes it understandable, engaging, and even exciting to learn. His passion for teaching is obvious in every lecture, and he genuinely wants every student to succeed. More than just a great professor, Dr. Candelario is an inspiring role model for anyone pursuing nursing. He constantly reminds his students why they chose this path and makes you feel like anything is possible if you are willing to work for it. He creates an environment where you feel supported, motivated, and confident in your ability to grow. If you ever need extra help, he never hesitates to take the time to guide you and make sure you truly understand the material. The school itself is also very invested in student success. As long as you are willing to put in the work, the program truly sets you up to succeed. I feel incredibly grateful to be learning in a program with professors like Dr. Candelario who care not only about your grades, but about the kind of nurse and person you will become.

The program frequently speaks about "success," but after my experience there I found myself questioning whose success was actually being served. In my experience, the curriculum felt poorly structured and relied heavily on self-navigation rather than consistent instructional support. Academic evaluation practices also appeared to lack transparency and consistency. During my time in the program, I was asked to attend a meeting related to clinical expectations where I was presented with documentation to sign acknowledging those expectations. From my perspective, no educational instruction was provided as part of that meeting. That same interaction later appeared to be referenced in administrative action affecting my status in the program. I also experienced significant difficulty when attempting to address disability accommodation concerns. As a student relying on accommodations, I expected a clearer and more supportive process than what I experienced. I also received an email from a clinical coordinator that contributed to my concerns about how academic integrity standards were being communicated in the program. I have retained the written communication. After the administrative action affecting my status in the program, my attempts to obtain clarification or meaningful follow-up from the school went largely unanswered. After investing nearly two years of my life in this program, the outcome and the way these issues were handled were extremely disappointing. My concerns were documented and submitted to regulatory agencies for review, although as far as I am aware no action has been taken. A detailed archive of my communications and complaints related to these issues has been preserved. From my experience and interactions with other students, my situation did not appear to be unique. I encountered multiple students who expressed similar concerns about how issues were handled, along with broader questions regarding ethics and administrative conduct within the program. This review reflects only a portion of the concerns I experienced during my time in the program. Prospective students should research very carefully, speak with former students, and ask detailed questions about curriculum structure, evaluation practices, and how accommodation issues are handled before enrolling. In my opinion, prospective students should avoid this program and consider other nursing schools.

Mr. Liquete was truly one of the biggest reasons I made it through LVN school successfully. As our…read moreDON instructor, he always pushed us to do our best while still making sure we felt supported every step of the way. He was patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and genuinely cared about his students. Throughout the entire school year, he guided us through challenges, encouraged us when things got stressful, and always reminded us to stay confident in ourselves. His teaching style prepared us for the real nursing field and helped build both our skills and confidence as future nurses. I'm extremely grateful for all of his guidance, dedication, and support. Mr. Liquete made a lasting impact on my nursing journey, and I highly recommend him to any future LVN students.

My cohort was not informed about the new semester start date, the class days, or whether classes would be online, hybrid, or in person. Nothing. We are a few days into the 3rd semester, received the schedule the day of. If I had not woken up early on Monday to log in to Moodle, I would have missed the first day of class, since they did not inform us of anything. I sent emails to Heather Benevento (Director of Admissions) and Tammy Latu (Executive Director) with no reply. It took me sending a follow-up email for Heather to reply and say that I would hear back by the end of the day from either of them. Of course, to no surprise, I did not receive an email. Whenever I call the campus, my calls go unanswered. I leave messages, and they are not returned. They use the excuse that it's a new campus and ask us to give them some grace, but if you are late on a tuition payment, late to class, or miss a day, they will make sure you face the consequences ASAP. Turns out the schedule we were given for the semester is not even accurate. Our professor had to inform us today that our lab day is canceled because the school doesn't have the supplies (shocker!). And now we will have lab on a day we were told there was no class. What about those of us who have jobs? Doctor's appointments? Job interviews? This school expects you to form your life around them and only cares about getting their money and nothing else.

We were frantic, my husband called 911, I was freaking out screaming and crying and we were literally scrambling watching her turn blue- and then suddenly your voice popped in my head and I remembered step by step exactly what to do and was able to completely dislodge the coins- two nickels and a penny. Paramedics came, we went to the hospital and x-rays showed no more coins were in her windpipe. Thank you for what you do. I am so glad we took your course, in all honesty I don't think our daughter would be here today had we not.

Justin came fully prepared with everything to train us including his own TV! His equipment was new and up-to-date. He fully explained the recent changes in CPR guidelines and the reasons behind the changes. In addition, Justin made the entire experience both fun and entertaining. One of my staff mentioned that this was the best CPR training she had ever attended. Finally, we had to change our appointment time a few times because of our client/staff needs, and Justin accommodated us each time without a hassle. Thanks again! You have our highest recommendation.
