Best acls class I've ever taken. Usually I'd go the hospital route but I needed to get this class stat and it's the best decision I went with. I retained the material better with Ros's teaching style and the class was comfortable and not intimidating. Don't get me wrong, you have to do your homework and read the material as well in order to go through those 50 acls questions. If you listen to his lecture as well and pay attention to what he emphasizes you'll do well. read more

Took the PALS course here and loved it - way better than ACLS/BLS courses I have taken elsewhere. The instructor was great, and really helped us to master the material. Ever since the orientation at Health Pro I felt like I was in good hands and that the instructors were really there to help me learn. I was apart of the full time class on Monday Wednesday Friday. I thought that eight hours of class would never end but it became fun to go to class and see the other students and the instructors. I had Eddie Apodaca as my instructor, he was amazing and his teaching style was perfect for me. His approach to teaching is a very laid back and relaxed. Eddie was always willing to assist anybody who needed help and he even went out of his way to come on non class days to help students study. During this class I never felt stressed even before a test. In my class we were very successful with the tests in class and also with the NREMT. Me and most of the students in my class have passed NREMT first try thanks to the great teaching and encouragement and from the Health Pro team. read more

The BLS course with them was fine, but before signing up definitely review their refund policies etc. I never took the EMT course and they have plenty of spots still open and yet i couldn't get a refund. What a waste of my hard earned money I definitely would have thought a place like this would be more understanding. I never even took the class nor was it due to start for two months with many spots open so there's no reason to not get a refund. I'm having hard personal circumstances which led me to reach out for a refund and how disappointing was it to find out they couldn't and there's no reason for it honestly. Besides this I've actually had friends go through healthpro and I have heard that though it's fun and a good class, it's difficult for everyone I know who took it, and there's better options for EMT programs. Definitely check out going through Moreno Valley college actually, a very respectable program with a higher passing rate and some really cool options are included in that EMT program as well !!! read more

I took a 10wk EMT course at this school. It was very unorganized and very difficult to communicate with them. They waited until 4 days before the final to tell me they had to drop me because I wasn't passing. A week before they dropped me they called to collect the rest of my money. I spoke with Joan and she told me I could re take the course with a $200 discount after I spent so much money on this program. They also give you a kit with a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and pen light but you need to return it at the end. This company was a waste of time and money. Joan hung the phone up on me and tried to avoid talking to me every time I called. This is an accelerated course with high expectations but you have to try to make it on your own because they will not be there to help you or guide you. Many of us had to call fire departments and ambulance companies on our own because they weren't following up scheduling us for ride alongs and the ones they did sign us up for had little or no patient contacts which you need 10 pt contacts to graduate. I would not recommend this course it was a complete waste of money. There were a couple of instructors who were very nice and helpful and I enjoyed listening to their stories and working with them. read more

I recently took a PALS certification course at Health Pro and I loved it. The instructors are very knowledgeable and so nice! The class covers everything but isn't too grueling, they make sure every one is comfortable with the material before moving on and will work with you if you need help. It is clean, all their equipment is up to date, clean and working, and they even have a small kitchen area with drinks and snacks, and fridge if you decide to bring lunch. I recently took Basic ECG, ACLS, and PALS from HealthPro, The instructors are very knowledgable and very nice. No intimidation! I thought I would be intimidated by the MegaCode, but they encourage you to practice until it all becomes very easy. They also offer free snacks, water and soda. The whole environment was relaxing and they really made me feel at home. As I start my new nursing career, I will always come back to HealthPro for any of my continuing needs.
