Every class I had was full of information, broken down and explained. We learned by example and hands on. If you are debating on becoming a CNA, ICARE Academy is the best place to get licensed. They offer services to help you meet the requirements such as CPR CERTIFICATION. I did CPR with them and was by far a wonderful experience too. My CNA CLASS, was phenomenal our teacher Mrs. April made us all understand material to the point we can respond with no doubt and full of confidence. Mrs. Christine also made time to break down material we needed further explanation. In one month I became a CNA and adopted my new ICARE ACADEMY FAMILY. Truly, makes you push yourself but knowing they will NOT let one of their family fail. Even after graduation they allow us to come in a practice for our state. NO OTHER SCHOOL DOES THAT. The way she explained everything made it easy to understand and remember, and I walked out feeling confident that I could actually use what I learned in a real situation. The environment was comfortable and welcoming, and the whole class had a really positive vibe. It didn't feel boring or intimidating like some trainings do, it was fun, interactive, and super informative. The classes are hands on and you actually get to learn and apply skills taught in class. I called back and received no answer. On my third attempt, the call was answered, but the person only breathed into the phone and then hung up again. The connection was very clear, so I don't believe it was a reception issue. If there was a technical problem on their end, a call back would have been appreciated.

BEST CPR class I have ever taken... I needed to get my…read moreAmerican Heart Association BLS CPR certification and saw this place on the AHA website. I reserved a spot on the AHA website (it was not located in this place's website for some reason) and then called to confirm my seat. The instructor asked if I could actually join a class THAT day which was awesome because I needed it ASAP. I give 4 stars because the building is down some creepy road that was super hard to find, I kept U-turning down van buren because there is no road sign to mark it. On the phone her accent made me think she said it was behind a "castle" but after I did a circle I realized it's behind a "car shop". The building looked super creepy from the outside and I had no idea where to park cause there was a bunch of closed fences, but I called the instructor and she reassured me she was on her way to open it up. So once i got past all the creepy building stuff and the 30min late start, Dr. Edith Amadi was a GREAT teacher. Like since my teacher in high school I have never seen someone care so much about CPR. She has been a nurse for a really long time and emphasized how important it is that we care about doing it right so that we don't kill someone on accident (like make sure their pulse is actually gone before doing CPR). She made sure she explained every part thoroughly and watched us to see that we actually were practicing the CPR correctly (in the past I have seen other instructors not care AT all about if you actually learned it). I learned the information so well that I only missed 1 question on the exam. I feel much more prepared to do do CPR now than I have after any other classes in the past. Wow wow wow! And it wasn't boring, thank you for not making it boring! I know they have CNA classes and are working on an LPN program as well. If she is also the teacher for those, I am sure you will have success. I attached photos of the creepy road and building in case you need to find it, I promise you won't get murdered
