The way she explained everything made it easy to understand and remember, and I walked out feeling confident that I could actually use what I learned in a real situation. The environment was comfortable and welcoming, and the whole class had a really positive vibe. It didn't feel boring or intimidating like some trainings do, it was fun, interactive, and super informative. Thank you so much Candy! I forgot your assistants name but you two were so sweet and did a very good job making everyone in the class feel comfortable! Candy went over every question that will be on the test numerous times and provided a BLS AHA Manual that you are able to skim through while taking the test. No biggie if you miss some important questions! They will go over it with you and help you with skills you are unfamiliar with or having a difficult time understanding. You can tell Candy is very passionate about her job and is exactly the type of Nurse you would want helping you in a medical emergency. She is very patient and she has the sweetest voice! I feel much more prepared to help someone in need from this course than I did two years ago in a different course with a different instructor! She also provides a single pocket CPR mask that you can keep with you on the go! Definitely one of the best cpr classes i have taken. The instructor was funny, knowledgeable and organized - loved that! Her assistant is awesome, friendly and helped with the flow of the class. Loved the fact that Mrs. C had asked everyone in the class to share a story about really giving cpr out in the real world. Eye opening stories were told. Truly loved that. I have a knee injury that sometimes prevents me from doing normal everyday things - no problem. Since i couldn't kneel, accommodations were made. Thank you for providing a great, comfortable environment to learn. Im definitely going to try and go to the next class after my cpr card is up to renew. I was pretty nervous about renewing my CPR certification since it's been years since I was last certified but once I arrived I knew I was nervous for nothing. Candy was an amazing I instructor and really made all the "boring" stuff as interesting as possible. I came after work but definitely never got bored or tired. CANDY is such an AMAZING instructor! Her assistant (DAUGHTER ) was also AMAZING! This class is very organized and well maintain! It is in a lovely home setting, intimate and personal, warm and welcoming. Completed my First Aid/CPR class this evening. I must say that I learned so much more than I had expected. I was able to get a class the next day . You enroll online, there's a list of classes that are available so you can find a class that fits your personal schedule. For the class I took there was a fee of$45.00. The fees are listed clearly online . When I first arrived I was a little thrown off because it's in a residential area, the class is held at Candy's home. She has her family room set up for the class. The entire process was super fast and easy: enrolling online, checking in for the class, taking the class and to getting my certification card all super easy. Candy was my instructor, she has a lot of experience within the medical field and you can definitely tell she knows what she's talking about, she seems to be passionate about what she does and that shows in her class she makes it very fun and informative so the time goes by quickly. She also made us a home cooked meal we ate lasagna and french bread with ice cream for dessert what other class does that??!! If you need to take your certification I would highly recommend this course!! read more
