I didnt get a tour of the school, I didn't get a welcome. but I did show up to orientation, I did sign and turn in everything they asked before class started. I showed up the first two days and then after class on the second day they call and tell me they never enrolled me in the right course BUT if I can put my life on hold again in a month, I can do the 8 week course in a month. even though I've already been in school for 2 days. and then they start calling me and making me seem difficult because I don't know how I'm supposed to figure out childcare again andhow I'm supposed to keep putting off working and life for the school who can't even submit my enrollment papers on time. This school was great at first. I had Ms G as a teacher and she's amazing the problems didn't start until it was time for externship nobody seems to know anything and the communication is horrible I've been graduated and passed NHA for weeks now. It's already sad enough phlebotomist don't get a graduation or ceremony just our certificate the externship part has been so extremely frustrating and stressful. I'm also pregnant and have been trying to get this done before I give birth but I don't think it's going to happen. You can email and call and won't get a response til weeks later but they have no problem calling you for payment or things they need. read more

Curtis was super funny and lively throughout my program, encouraging us students to do our best. However, Ms. Vickie had so much more of an impact on me and my education. She is the sweetest, funniest, most invested teacher i've ever had. I've learned more from Ms. Vickie in the past couple of months than i've learned my entire life. Not only is she an excellent phlebotomy teacher (doing any and everything to ensure your success as a phlebotomist), but she is also a great mentor with personal, social, as well as academic things. When I first attended an appointment to view the school in June 2020, I was told that in 12-16 weeks I would be able to finish my phlebotomy program pending the completion of the required blood draws, pass of the exam and up to date payments of my tuition. The instructor was knowledgeable, but extremely opinionated and inappropriate with her personal comments. Was helpful to the bare minimum. When I finished the course and passed the exam on August 13th 2020 I regularly stayed doing lab days and kept record until my externship was available. I met the requirements but i had to wait. Despite me constantly asking for updates or news of externship availability, I had no real answer of when I could attend. It was frustrating for the first several months, but I understood as the excuse was "covid". Eventually August 2020 turned into JANUARY 2021 and I still had no update of when an externship would be in my reach. I was still regularly visiting lab days with no sign of an externship ahead. I would ask every lab day, no updates, no information, just the same "have you completed your exam, do you have late payments, have you done a TB test?" All of which were checked off for months. I eventually payed off my tuition and a FULL YEAR PASSED since I completed my program until I was contacted about the POSSIBILITY of extern. 1 ENTIRE CALENDAR YEAR! I got to complete the externship 62 WEEKS after I started, where the site was chaotic, the manager who supposedly needed to shadow you was nowhere to be found and ignored me. I was tossed aside her employees while she chit-chatted about not wanting to be at work. Did I get great experience where I practiced on a variety of people? Absolutely. However being there the staff I worked under kept correcting me with my practice (they had a particular way of doing things and didn't like how I would take my time and not rush the patients) and were extremely condescending, even though I was an extremely experienced student. Since finishing my externship on September 3rd 2021, I had gotten no major job opportunities, only updates of part time NO LISCENSE NEEDED positions where the pay is minimum wage. So much for the alumni job opportunities they offer. Did I get my certificate? Sure, after 1 year of constantly trying and effort on my part. Not worth the effort at all, try your luck somewhere else. read more

Don't waste your time and money on this joke of a school! They will give you false information from the jump just to get you excited and signed up and then as you slowly go throughout school you get information that you were never told in the beginning that sets you back. Not to mention when you finish the actual school process you gotta deal with the stupid people that are supposed to help you go to externship and get your license from the state but in reality they don't do shit but ignore you and push everything to the side til you really get irritated and make a situation about it. I have come to the right school for my career choice. I have to say I was in the right time at the right spot. They will work with you at all cost. Payment plan, intership, and help on hands on training. Especially if you are in The Clinic Medical Assistant program you will have the excellent professor. Finished my course October 2017. Internship November 2017 at Bio data. I received my CPT1 certification in March of 2018. Job placement at US colleges is a JOKE!!! I found my own job April of 2018 and I'm still working. My teacher was Jennifer and she was TERRIFIC! Now alot of the reviews are accurate! But in defense of ones self. this school was great for me when I was starting out. I had no issues with admissions and no issues with my instructor Ms. Cindy she was very amazing at her job she makes sure her students know the material in the books as well as in lab. She also gives helpful tips for taking the state board exam. Loved Ms.C!!!! GIVE HER A RAISE ALREADY SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST ASSETS TO THE SCHOOL!! Now my problems came in at externship with Sherry. She was completely horrible as a career service support for students,( so many of my peers had so many complaints). I personally didn't understand until it was time for my externship, then I found out why they were complaining. She really acts as if she does not want to help students. It was not until the externship did we start to not like what the school really offered. Sherry will have you call her multiple times and she will not answer or call back. You can send her emails that she will not respond to until 7 days later or longer. If you are having issues at an extern site she will not move you or want to hear what you are saying until "The client" as she calls them calls her to complain first which puts the students in a very compromising place. Also please don't ask her to do her job and assist with finding you employment And DO NOT COMPLAIN TO HER BOSS she will hold your hours from externship back and create and issue with them and then blame it on corporate so that it can take longer to process because you decided to speak up for yourself. This lady just reeks of "I'm just here for a check", "Do enough to make it through the day" as well as been here too long she is not helpful to the students, she barely does her job, she acts like she doesn't want to do her job or like she is just waiting until her retirement is up. The experience I had with Sherry is the reason why I would not recommend any of my peers, friends, or family to go to this school, I would not want them to go through what I went through. read more

I don't not have an ounce in my body to ever recommend this school first let me begin with the program has hidden essential information that that don't mention such as how many draws you will need to complete the program and also watching individuals get placed before previous classes I had a hard time making sure I had someone every week to draw it wasn't enough of us and they don't set the program up for success it's most like a delay you can go weeks without drawing someone due to either supply or people or even a good time frame for when you are only given one day a week to only draw 2 per day make sure you do a more in-depth research on this place because honestly I feel they only care for the concerns of financial services anything else if not top priority and when I say favoritism is a problem in this place has no good intentions on seeing you succeed so please be mindful before signing up I wish I did read more

I began the Phlebotomy course back in June of 2019. I was nervous about entering in a whole new field. Having a change in career I knew phlebotomy was a good start after thorough research. At first point of contact with US Colleges, admissions was very friendly and encouraging about the course and career opportunities and made it clear that students would receive help with whatever they needed. And of course they waste no time to collect your money; roughly $3000 and of course one late payment and it'll affect you. LECTURE: as a first timer in the medical field it went better than I thought. Vicky, my instructor was great! She gave us complete explanations and made the learning experience wonderful. I put in the work and dedication and scored 98% on midterm and 100% on final. It's not that hard when you want it and have desire to pay attention and study. LAB: it was interesting practicing in the lab but you do get to learn the techniques and give you an idea of an actual setting. All I can say about the process is, please go the extra mile to be gentle and do things as painless as possible. It is such a GREAT FEELING when people say, "I didn't even feel that!" but of course, results will vary. Volunteers for lab is helpful but come on now, it's not that easy for all us to get someone to come in and let a noobie stab them. NHA: PAY AN EXTRA $117. The test was very weird, DO NOT RELY ON LECTURE to pass NHA. It is very different and questions on there will throw you off. So make sure to STUDY the NHA MATERIAL and not focus on your lecture notes only, but it is PASSABLE. EXTERNSHIP AUG 2019: they sent me to a small clinic where they don't have a Phlebotomist position so I did ALOT of standing around doing nothing even when I tried to do my best and stay busy and learn new things to take advantage of my time there. I was able to get all my draws in but definitely feels like watching paint dry for hours. CAREER SERVICE: they have been very friendly and assure you they will help you in anyway whatever it takes. I am willing to work in a position that does not require a CPT1 license but no luck at all. I apply and apply and try to stay encouraged but no luck. I am still working on it so job placement is still ongoing... APPYLING FOR LICENSE: PAY AN EXTRA $100 to apply PREPARE TO WAIT FOREVER and GO OUT OF YOUR WAY. Laboratory Field Services is such a joke. They sent me an email saying they received my application but haven't received my college transcripts. I called Cal Poly Registrars office and they confirmed the official transcripts were sent to LSF (the address US Colleges gave me) before LSF sent me the email. Cal Poly was not on the list of schools under the website US Colleges gave me to order transcripts from and National Student Clearinghouse said the LSF address was not recognized by USPS. I had a rep from Cal Poly trying to get a hold of them to confirm my transcripts were sent but with LSF only having a 1 star rating on google reviews, I'm afraid they had no luck getting through. ITS INCONVENIENT because I have to go out my way to prove that I in fact sent in my transcripts so my application does not expire (60 days). FRONT DESK: Front Desk Management, Isaiah, has been able work with me and keep me updated and also go out of his way to help. He has made my communication and process easy thus far. OCT 2019: It is now Fall and I haven't had any luck with career services or applying on my own (I can't do much without my license and not sure what I can work as or where without a license) I find myself applying to positions for my previous career because in reality, we just need to pay the bills. Credit services jumps on you if you miss a payment (which I haven't thankfully) but I just wish the there was more doing rather than reassuring at the school. Time goes by and retaining what I learned is getting more difficult if I don't spend time reviewing old notes and test guides. I will still apply as a CPT or work in a medical related position because I refuse to give up but honestly, feels like I'm gambling $3000 right now. **if i get employed as a CPT sooner or later, I will do a follow up review (if yelp allows for multiple reviews by the same person, I don't know to be honest). read more

Horrible experience with Jon Cleary (admissions ) from San Diego Campus , he told me needed to pay registration fees in order for me to get the process started when he were actually waiting for a document to get processed , after I paid the money he asked me for , he disappeared for days until I got tired of waiting for him or someone from the school to call me . I decided to call with no answer so I sent him a message asking for my money back which he responded within seconds after I sent the message saying the money is NON refundable , I ended up losing up to 400.00 for a MA program never got to take because poor communication from them ..he knew I wasn't going to make it with out that document and still asking me for the money which I stupidly paid him .. . If I could give no stars in would. Started CNA class June of 2023, and was told two weeks of lecture and two weeks of clinical. Paid tuition and was all set up. Sunday, day before the First day of school I received an email from a student, not even my teacher that we were moved to zoom for the first week due to teacher not being in town. Second week started and seemed ok until a lot of inconsistency's were coming up with what we were promised to cover during lecture. third week started and was supposed to be off site at a hospital and was cancelled because our teacher quit and they were not offering off site, even though promised in our contract we signed. On our third substitute now which they no idea what the curriculum is. Spoke to Curtis Speller, Director of admissions, as whole class and was given a bunch of run around explanations. At the end of him speaking he told us there is nothing he can do for us, that if we want any type of compensation for the 3 weeks of trouble we need to drop out of class, never once offered to make it right with another teacher or another couple weeks of training. I highly recommend another school. This company is very dishonest and not tentative to what they promised students. Very unprofessional. read more

Loved my teacher, Ms. Vicki! She has a lot of experience and knowledge to share. I took my nationals 2 weeks after getting out of class and passed. I felt she did a great job of preparing us for that. Once I did that, Sahara was on top of me to get my externship scheduled and completed. She was always available for questions. After that I was on to job placement with Ms. Sherri and her team. She texts me and emails me several times a day to keep each other up to speed. Attended this U.S colleges in riverside and i thought I enjoyed this School, I did my phlebotomy course and it was great, (the class itself and teacher ) my teacher miss Vickie is amazing! She knows everything about phlebotomy and has a great experience and she did her best to help us do well whether in the national exam or the Externship !
