I love me some New Balance shoes. Checked this store out because I needed some new work shoes. New balance is a fantastic option for peeps who have wide feet because they actually carry wide width shoes. NB runners are also very comfortable for walkers and runners. This store is located by the fantastic Canadian Brew pub so post shoe shop you can grab some grub. On entrance the store has fantastic lighting and is very cleaned and organized. Called this location to find a New Balance 990 2A (difficult size to find). I was told they didn't have it and neither did the warehouse. Sourced an 847 through Zappos.com in the US so had to have my family receive and ship them to me. Called the location again a week later to ask for the corporate contact number and asked about the 990 and was surprised they did have a pair in stock . I was asked if I wanted to place them on hold and I said yes. Unhappy I'm paying more after shipping and currency conversion for a lower tier shoe. I received a call and had to disconnect. Called back and was told the 990 is on hold for someone else. Now irritated I've received unhelpful, conflicting info. read more

Went in Saturday afternoon, only 1 other customer, however there were 3 staff members present. One made eye contact with me a few times while she was helping the other person, however that was it ...I spent 20 minutes in the store, half of it sitting on the bench. No one came up and ask me if I was looking for something, or anything ...I left as I was tired of no service, sham as now I'll have to drive out to Delta next week, as New Balance is the one I trust for width ....expected so much more ...I might try them again next week .....to see if the experience is better read more

I came in with my aged husband after we had bought and discarded 3 different pairs of shoes. He could hardly walk. The wonderful saleswoman gave him thin socks, loosely laced the 840/4 extra wide and he almost skipped out of the store! This took ten minutes of working with a knowledgeable foot fitter!
