I was assured that I'd be called or texted when the technician was on his way. I expected to have to wait the full 2-hour window I was given, but no! I was called about 5 minutes before the window started to see if I was still available. The technician arrived exactly on time, right at the start of the window! After a short explanation of my needs he just said "OK, let's take a look at the space and talk about it." He explained every step of what they'd do to install a tankless water heater, he looked at the whole area to check for pipes, electrical access, spacing inside and out for a condensation line - making feel very comfortable that it would be planned before the installation to avoid last minute issues. A big plus, he told me he'd be part of the installation team. He also told me I should go ahead and get another few quotes. I think these guys are confident they're giving the prices in the sweet spot of costs. Then we spent time just talking about landscaping and plants! I'm not in a hurry to start this project, it's on my list of improvements and I'm just starting to investigate. However, I'm extremely impressed with the service given at this stage, the thorough approach in explaining, and the honestly. I will get another quote, but the next one has a high bar to cross; not only the service, but Water Heaters Masters quote was WELL below the only other quote I had gotten so far. My wife and I dollied and manipulated all 137lbs of that bad boy into the garage. Edgar was my tech from Magnificent (He thought it was a "check" vs. "replace"). This could have been a disaster because we are now at New Year's Eve. They typically only do commercial water heater replacement but calls his boss, gets the gren light and because we are loyal customers, discounts the service cost. He tells me he can do it, calls to re-arrange some family plans and just makes it happen! At the end, he noticed a pipe with some carbon monoxide venting which he also fixed. We spoke on Sunday and he was able to fit me in his schedule the next day. He txted me within the 2 hr window he gave me and arrived before the window ended. Vince immediately knew what the issue was beyond the faulty check valve, he identified that my thermal expansion tank was also broken. This is the second time I went with Sayed's plumbing service, and I'll be back next time for sure…read more (fingers crossed not any time soon...) Sayed's very responsive via Yelp messaging, and was willing to do a quote without coming out. (I understand sometimes you have to check out the situation in-person, but who has time to schedule multiple appointments just to get a quote?) Since it wasn't an emergency, I said that he could come out any time this week, but he made it a priority and fixed the problems the next day. This time, it was only a running toilet plus needing to replace a shower head. (Yes, probably could have done it ourselves, but going with a professional with a 6-month guarantee is a no-brainer.) Sayed fixed both quickly, and also de-clogged the bathtub when asked to take a look at the slow drainage. (Found a huge hairball, no wonder...)
