I had a wonderful experience at the Nespresso boutique in their Mall of America location! Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by a friendly sales associate (I unfortunately did not get her name) who welcomed me into the store. She told me that another associate would be with me shortly and asked if I would like an espresso or coffee while I waited. Shortly after, sales associate Princess came to assist me. Princess was true to her name and was so lovely. She complimented my lashes and eyebrows and it felt like I was chatting with a friend. She was so kind and got me all of the pods I needed as well as recommended the festive double espresso which I am so excited to try! The store itself was clean, well organized, and the sales associates made the atmosphere very inviting. I left with a bag full of nespresso pods and felt very well taken care of. Literally awful business set up. I'm currently in line wanting to purchase coffee and she won't let me purchase coffee because the person who's in front of me in Line is asking her questions about a machine and isn't even buying anything lol. Maybe try getting a normal register where you just get in a line system. read more

Not sure why the reviews are so negative, as my experience here has always been lovely. Staff is so friendly, very knowledgable about coffee, and so efficient when it comes to moving through the queue. I always look forward to coming back here to get refills for my machine :) read more

This is the only Nespresso location in Minnesota, so every visit takes effort. I need to factor in travel, parking, navigating through the MOA, and time in the store. However, every once in a while when time allows, I like to pop in try a new release of coffee and check out what new cups the boutique has. It's a small store, but it's clean and I love the coffee smell. Anyhow, I've been putting off a visit because it's simply not a super convenient quick errand, but I finally made the trip this morning because I desperately needed more of the free UPS black recycling bags. My used capsules have been piling up at home, and I'm beyond tired of looking at them. When I walked in, I was greeted by a guy, and I asked him for more UPS black recycling bags, the associate told me he could only give me three. Honestly, I was shocked! Why is it SO hard to get something that's supposed to be free and encouraged as part of Nespresso's sustainability efforts? I'm trying to be a responsible Nespresso customer and recycle the capsules properly, but when staff act like giving out these bags is a burden and/or coming out of their paycheck, it feels like I'm being discouraged from doing the right thing. To make matters worse, many of my orders don't include bags.... even when I request them. I love the coffee, but the experience around recycling is incredibly frustrating. If getting the UPS black bags continues to be this difficult, I'll just start tossing them in the garbage. Also, it honestly makes me question whether it's worth the effort of recycling the capsules. I want to do the right thing, but Nespresso isn't making it easy. read more

We have been long time Nespresso users and were happy to see a store open. In the past we would have to deal with customer service via phone. They were fine before but recently the service has taken a nose dive. They now lack professionalism making us wonder who we are speaking to and where they are located (are they remote workers picking up calls from their homes?). It was a relief to go into the store and have our issue resolved face to face by the store employee. The place is always so crowded though and feels chaotic. read more

GRRRRRRR. Typically, I love coming to this Nespresso store. I always have a 10 out of 10 experience. Everyone who works there is usually kind, takes the time to listen and talk through options with me. However, last night.. that was not the case. I felt rushed. I felt not heard. I felt not important. I felt questioned. Come on. I just dropped $80 in this store to get a bunch of coffee and your RUSHING ME! There was not a line. Also, my card initially did not work for a security issue and she yelled DECLINED! I'm like whoa whoa relax, I just got a new card, it is probably a security thing.. but regardless, I pulled out another card because she made me feel.. weird. I've been a loyal Nespresso customer for years, shopping here nearly every month. On September 13th around 6:30 pm, I visited the store with my best friend. We were shopping separately, each selecting our own pods. After I finished checking out, I went to join my friend at her register. The cashier--a white woman wearing glasses, working at the left register--made an unprofessional and unnecessary comment that we "should have been together." She then went on to explain that she was "ignoring us" because people often come in just for free coffee samples. For the record, we didn't even take samples that day (though as paying customers, we're fully entitled to them if we chose). She also began asking personal questions like whether we lived nearby, and then commented that we had been "walking around for ten minutes," when in reality we had only spent about five minutes browsing the new seasonal pods before heading to the registers. The most concerning part was her justification for ignoring us. It is completely out of line for an employee to make a paying customer feel unwelcome or accused of wasting time. As loyal customers who come to this store regularly, we should be treated with respect--not suspicion. read more

When you walk into the Nespresso store, you are immediately transported into a world of luxurious coffee options and accessories. They even have a really cool area to try certain coffee pods of the day. Being new to the nespresso world , I was pleasantly surprised with the nespresso team and the service. read more

I got a Nespresso for Christmas and was excited to check out this store in the Mall of America! Walking in, the staff was helpful and showed me the full list of products compatible with my machine. I was sad to see they didn't have any store-only flavors, accessories or discounts. Prices were the same as online. They do have a tasting bar, but you can't try anything you want - they have certain flavors available for the day. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, but if I'm in the area I would stop by for my espresso needs! read more

I went to the store at MOA today because I wanted to try a coffee flavor that I was interested in buying. I was told they only offer certain flavors for trying and the one I wanted to try wasn't one of them because they can't "offer every flavor". When you try a flavor, they brew the whole pod for you to try. It's not like they brew a bunch and then give you a little taste. So how they can't offer a flavor to try before you buy doesn't make sense. Why even bother offering samples. On top of that, the manager was extremely rude. So I ended up not buying. If I can't try it to make sure I like it, I'm not spending my money. I also didn't travel all that way to be treated so rudely by the manager. Nespresso just lost a customer today. I'll go back to my Keurig. read more

Even though it's easier to order online, I frequent the store sometimes to sample some of the new flavors. The service from Destiny, Josh and the Manager Naledi was excellent. In fact I had an issue with a machine and they resolved it exceeding my expectations. Very helpful and I will be back. read more

I walk in and a gentleman who was getting out of the store told me to watch my step because there was some spilled everywhere. The lady who works there got very annoyed literally told me to move to the side because they were going to clean that up (the few minutes I was there they only put a wet floor sign but never clean it up) they didn't even told me right away at the beginning which someone should be at the very entrance and tell customers to watch their step. Anyways. I was at the front by the computer waiting for assistance and there were two ladies standing doing literally nothing. I waited for a solid 3 minutes and nobody help me not even "I'll help you shortly" I was totally ignored then another couple walked in and help them out right away. I got upset and decided to leave the store. I guess I'll still buy online since customer service it's awful. read more

Once upon a time, I used to be a Keurig fan. That single serve was just perfect for that single girl life I lead. Then the word spread about how bad the k-cups are for the enviornment. I went searching for a alternative to cure my caffeine fix without having to wait while making a huge pot of coffee that just goes bad. I had always admired Nespresso, then a few years ago, the Christmas spirit also known as Santa gave me a Nespresso Machine and my world changed. I slowly went away from the K-cups and started to enjoy the creamy taste of the espresso perfection. Fast forward to last year I bought a second machine, so I now rock the original and the vertuoline. With that the pods are not as accessible as the k-cups. For the years I have had to order online and wait to get my order or drive to Uptown and visit calhoun square. While Calhoun Square is closer to my home, I gave the MOA location a shot. It was nice and easy to get to. Located on the first floor the store was busy with customers. They will make you a sample so you can try before you buy (or just get a caffeine fix if your desperate). They have a point you can drop off your used pods if you don't feel like dropping them off at UPS (they also have the recycle bags at the store if you need). Nespresso makes recycling your pods so easy which makes me love them even more! Nespresso, you stole my heart and this added location is probably the best one yet! read more

Good to know: Bring in your recyclable pods here when picking more coffee. They will also give you recycle bags with a prepaid UPS label. This is a nice store with friendly staff. They offer cups of espresso or coffee if you'd like to try something before you buy. I appreciate this. There's no pressure to buy. Nespresso sells itself. Even though it has its shortfalls, serious coffee drinkers who've migrated over to #Nespressolife love the convenience. Unlike a Keurig, Nespresso offers higher-quality and specialized roasts. Their machines, too, mainly function to provide one of two types of drinks: - Espresso - Coffee I have De'Longhi's Nespresso VertuoPlus (coffee) and use it to brew a beautiful cup (or three) just about every day. Nespresso's boutiques -- three in Minnesota -- provide an opportunity, for the company to reach potential new customers and offer Nespresso users the chance to try and purchase a variety of flavors. I dread the Mall of America (what real local even shops there?), but I liked this store. My bro and I stocked up on their banana flavor, caramel, Cuban, and vanilla pods/ capsules, whatever they've called them. Will I stay with Nespresso? I am not sure. I do love a simple Aeropress or French press. But I do enjoy the ease. Whatever my coffee destiny, I believe coffee aficionados should check out Nespresso -- and one of their boutiques -- at least once. read more

Employee was rude and wouldn't allow me to try taste testing station even though someone else had just used it prior. Tried to look around a bit at the product and she was very insistent on me going up to checkout, felt uncomfortable browsing like she didn't want me in the store. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable employees. I don't have a Nespresso but was interested in learning more about them. The lady who worked there walked me through the different options and machines and helped me narrow down my choices to which machine would be best for me. I wanted to think about my options and come back later to actually purchase the machine and felt no pressure or negative energy from the employee once I told her this.
