That right there told me they don't mind being different in the style of food they serve! After checking over the menu full of wraps and burgers amongst a plethora of other bar food I ended up getting some wings to try and the house made chips. I got half my wings in the BBQ flavor and the other Buffalo. Being honest the wings weren't anything special but they did hit the spot and the BBQ sauce wasn't anything special to me on the wings but if it was used in some pulled pork or ribs I believe I would enjoy it more. The buffalo sauce was really good and had just enough heat to need the ranch here and there. The house made chips were good, not overly seasoned and not over cooked either. The place is small but has a handful of high top round tables and a few bigger square tables in the front with a decent bar strip with plenty of bottles and beers on tap. The pool table in the side room looked like a great area to hang around and play some pool while enjoying some beers with the company of friends. Next time I'm in town I will try one of their countless burger options!

I imagine this place does an amazing business. We went during the day and it was pretty subdued. It's a large yet cozy venue with the number 5 featured prominently in assorted art as well as on the tables. The building is historic, lots of wood, brick and brass railings plus a stunning Victorian bar back. We ate at the bar which was very comfortable. Little sliding wooden trays to make it convenient for eating, then just move them out of the way when you're done. They have 10 or so craft beers on tap and a full bar. We had the opportunity to sample a couple brews and we both enjoyed our beer choices and the food. Prices were fair, and tax is included in the menu price. I really want to shout out our bartender/server. Didn't get her name but she had round glasses with eyeglass chain attached and was on the shorter side. She was very customer focused, answering all our first-timer questions, attentive, appropriately conversational, and definitely on the ball as she was handling tables too. Top notch service. About those railings: unless there's a special back entrance, the venue may not be wheelchair accessible. There are two or three steps at the entrance, and if you want the bar instead of booth or table, another three or four. Both have sturdy solid handrails. I do not fault them for this; probably the historic building is exempt, but just wanted to note it for anyone needing that info. All in all a five star experience and I hope to return soon.

The added bonus was the atmosphere, service, food and fun of Coterie Kokomo is a mid-sized city about an hour north of Indy. The venue is a local favorite for music and great burgers. They did not disappoint this out of town visitor! The staff was welcoming. The menu, while limited, had a great variety of sandwiches and salads. I chose the Coterie burger which is served with fries. It was fire . The music venue is next door to the primary bar and is full service for food and drinks. The entire evening was so much fun - I highly recommend Coterie for an evening out!
