When we moved to Oxnard five years ago, the inspector mentioned we had about five years left on our roof. We didn't have any leaking, didn't realize rainy season is THE busy season, and proceeded estimates from the top three rated Yelp roofers. Right from the start, Nema was quick to respond. Re-roofing is a major investment, and Adam and Ron patiently answered all my questions or replied quickly. They aren't the cheapest. The 50 year manufacturer warranty and modern materials and application (hot torch vs. hot mop, metal flashing vs. flexible barrier, criteria as Florida and LA County, etc), were the reasons we felt confident in NEMA. We live near the beach, so "getting the last roof of our lifetime" is worth the peace of mind. Clean up was pretty good too. We're writing to highly recommend NEMA roofing! We recently had what was believed to be a one-to-two day job that NEMA intended to complete prior to what became dubbed, "the biggest storm of the decade." We were so relieved they could tackle the project because the leak was already extensive and would not have withstood another giant storm. Unfortunately, however, when the roof was opened up, the damage was found to be far more extensive than initially believed. To NEMA's profound credit, they honored our existing contract price, with the exception of the cost of additional wood. Bad news was, due to this unforeseen circumstance, the roof could not be completed before the storm. But again, to NEMA's profound credit, they never gave up. They did as much of the work as could possibly be done and tarped the roof before the storm. While we hoped for the best, one night we got gale-force winds that were blowing the tarp like crazy. While we sat anxiously awaiting disaster, NEMA called and said they were on their way. At 9:00 p.m. that evening (yes, p.m.!) they came with additional tarps and sand bags and got up there in the midst of the storm and "battened down the hatches," as they say. They checked several times a day every day thereafter until the storm passed. The minute it was over, they finished the roof, fixed our drywall, and had it all painted. It looked perfect, like brand new. They never left our side and they completely took care of our needs. There is no question in our mind that our next, and only, roofer will forever be NEMA Roofing. Hurricane Hilary was coming and these guys were very responsive and quick to coming to my aid. I had a leak on my roof of my duplex and they helped me tarp before the storm. They were very professional and even had a drone. Three days after the storm (when things dried up), the roofers came. Initially they thought it was a larger project but it ended up being just a patch and reduced the price accordingly. Everyone on the team is super nice to work with. Got multiple price quotes to put a new roof on our house and Thomas from NEMA came out in 2 days to look at the scope of the job. Thomas was by far the most thorough explaining exactly how the pricing was calculated and explained each stage of the project and how long it would take.
