A few months ago, I requested a quote from Nema Roofing Solutions and provided my information for financing. Shortly after, I received a notification from TransUnion stating that my Social Security Number and date of birth were found on the Dark Web. Nema was the only company that processed my information for financing. This situation has raised concerns for me regarding how customer data is managed and protected. I believe it is crucial for businesses to implement strong security measures to safeguard sensitive information and prioritize customer privacy. I recently had an unsatisfactory experience with this company. After receiving a phone call to reschedule, I expressed my desire to remain OFF their list, but the representative responded rudely and hung up. This interaction prompted me to revisit my previous review regarding my concerns about their business practices. While reviewing past quotes and documentation, I discovered that the company is not genuinely GAF Certified, despite their claims. They advertise a "Diamond Guarantee" for lifetime labor, stating that if they go out of business, the manufacturer will honor it. Upon reaching out to roofing materials manufacturers, I learned that such guarantees are not accurate and could vary significantly in terms of cost. My research also revealed that the owner, Adam, does not hold his own license but operates under a registered managing officer (RMO), Jack, who holds a "B" license, along with a licensed individual named Jennifer. This raises questions about the owner's credentials and whether he is evading responsibility by relying on others' licenses. This structure may allow them to subcontract work to other roofing companies while marking up prices, which explains the inflated costs. Overall, I believe that transparency and integrity are vital in the roofing industry, and I encourage others to approach this company with extreme caution. read more

I needed to replace my entire roof which was 3/4 shingle and 1/4 flat. Ron and Jay at NEMA came out promptly and gave me a quote that compared favorably with the other quotes I got. I rarely take the lowest quote. I usually go with the company I feel best about as long as its quote is competitive, and this was the case with this job. They were ready to go right away, but the job was delayed because the solar company that had panels on my roof had to be the ones to remove them and they had a 2 month bag log before they could get around to it. That put us right in the middle of our rainy season. However, after the solar panels were off, NEMA was able to seize a 4 day window in the storms and did the whole roof, both flat and shingled. Once removed, it was clear that we needed to overlay the existing 1X6 planks which were no longer code and had gaps between the boards. We had anticipated that possibility and NEMA had given me a quote in the original contract to add the wood. They honored that price and even gave me a break on the over all increase in the roof cost. Ron was the project manager and he was responsive and prompt and did a very good job of oversight. the roof is beautiful and has given me a good sense of security during our late season atmospheric rivers, which is the point after all. read more

I highly recommend Nema Roofing. They went above & beyond to help us out. My sister has the beginnings of Alzheimer's & I live about 4 hrs. away. It was pouring rain on New Years Day & her roof started leaking. We called them & they came out that day to tarp the roof until the storm passed. We ran into so many paperwork issues with my sister because she had divorced years ago & changed her name back to her maiden name plus her ex-husband was deceased. She had never changed any of this on the title of her house which held up getting the roofing permits. Mel, at Nema roofing was so very helpful & patient! I was trying to work with him long distance as my sister can't remember things now. He helped with her paperwork issues to get the permits & even took everything to her HOA for approval for her. I can't begin to thank him for how much he did for us! It was a mess (on my sister's end). He helped us at every turn & they replaced the roof, tested for mold, removed the mold that they found & repaired the wall. My whole family is so appreciative especially because there were so many complications, the family was far away & dealing with her memory loss. Thank you Mel & Nema Roofing for helping us get through all of this & making her house safe to live in. Lorrie G. read more

Where do I begin? The need for a roofing company estimate and diagnosis all started when I got a non-renewal notice from my home owners insurance company, saying my roof was damaged and stained very badly and needed to be entirely replaced. I reached out to several roofing companies for several diagnosis and estimates. Needless to say, Nema Roofing company was the first to reach back out to me. Adam was very punctual in returning my call and even in coming out the very next day to diagnose, inspect and estimate the cost to repair my roof. He explained everything in detail from start to finish. He was the only contractor that did NOT try to sell me or put me under any pressure . The roofing crew were professional and the work quality is excellent, they were definitely not the cheapest contractor, but I knew with the El Nino storms that are going to continue for the next few years. I wanted to invest in a quality roof that is going to be able to support me and my family for a very long time, . Highly recommend working with this small family run business. read more

I found Nema Roofing off Yelp and had many different companies to choose from. In the end, Nema wasn't the cheapest but I believe they were the most knowledgeable of my roof and its problems. They also had the best warranty of 30 years labor and 30 years material which can be transferred once. Anyone looking for a new roof should definitely consider them. Be advised though that if your roof is 20+ years old you will most likely have an additional charge to replace the old plywood underneath the tiles. It is impossible to estimate without taking off the tiles because you won't know the condition of the old plywood until the tiles are removed. Although another charge, new plywood increases the longevity of the roof and the value of the home. Foreman Mike came out on a Sunday to look at my roof and explain its issues. He was definitely knowledgeable in my roof and what it needed for it to be fixed. The true test will be how it stands up in a big storm but I am relieved that I have 30 years warranty for any issues that may arise. read more

Had a great experience working with Nema Roofing to do a re-roofing project. The customer service was top-notch. Every interaction, from the initial call to the final inspection, was handled with professionalism and courtesy. Adam was a fantastic project manager. He took the time to answer every question we had, no matter how trivial. He ensured we were well-informed about the process, the materials used, and the timeline. Speaking of materials, it's clear they don't cut any corners. The quality of the shingles, underlayment, and even down to the nails. They explained the benefits of each material choice, making it easy to understand why their quote was higher than some competitors. We ended up selecting Adam not because they were the cheapest but because we wanted to make sure it'll last. Quality of work was good - the attention to detail was apparent in the neatness of the shingles and the precision of the flashing and sealants. I learned a lot about the roofing process throughout the experience. Highly recommend it. read more

After that one rainy day that we just experienced about 2 to 3 weeks ago we started to see leaking in our kitchen , we knew that we had a problem with the roof. So this is where it all began, we looked around and spoke to many companies most of these companies were really big and we spoke to many different people along the way. We found Adam ; he didn't have as many reviews like the other companies but the reviews that he had were filled with Detail and positive things. This got us very interested in hearing Adam out. Adam was professional , Adam was on time and most of all Adam kept his word! What a fantastic job, everything was done in the timeframe promised, the guys would clean up every day and his expedited permit service made sure that our roof was done within a couple of days ! we are so happy with our the job. We really wish Adam all of the best and much luck and hope this review will bring him more business from others! Recommend! read more

Received great service from Nema Roofing. This year, I had to replace my flat part of the roof and was having some of the fascia wood damaged by water and termites. Did my research and got several quotes from various companies. The owner Adam gave a very reasonable quote for the work. My flat roof was about 1200 sq ft. They replaced the entire roof in several days, replaced much of the fascia wood and primed it all (haven't decided what color paint yet). I felt that this company was honest with pricing and reasonable. So many people are taking advantage of insurance companies demanding major repairs that may or may not be needed and there are a lot of roofing companies that are overcharging for work. They were very transparent about costs, did the work quickly and professionally, cleaned up, and were kind to my family. Very thankful for their work! read more

It has been super difficult to find good roofers to say the least. We reached out to Nema Roofing in Oxnard along with many others and ended up going with Nema team. Tito came out to give us a quote on the cost of reroofing, and subsequently answered lots of questions patiently over email. The front desk was also great at communicating and addressed lots of our concerns along the way. They came out to do the work right on the date scheduled, and finished on time in about the estimated 5 days. Halfway through we decided that we would like to install passive vents and whirlybirds and they were also very accommodating. Tito came over and discussed our options, also removed the ugly satellite we no longer want or need. Overall a great experience at a reasonable price. I would recommend Nema Roofing to anyone who's looking to do reroofing on their properties. read more

Recently completed a re-roofing on a residential in the Santa Barbara area. We are very pleased and satisfied with the excellent job done, and the pricing offered for the project was reasonable. It was very professional, and from the beginning, I met with Adam who sat with me and went over how the entire process worked and showed what materials I wanted along with other options. The whole Nema team kept in quick touch and ensured the project went over smooth. Any issues we had over payments, quality concerns, and so on were promptly addressed, and the entire project went relatively quick with minimal disruptions. Overall, I would highly recommend to others, which I have already done and will continue to do so, as this company offers a great price, is very professional, and will ensure high quality workmanship and satisfaction will be had. read more

I used them for my roof repair and the company was outstanding from start to finish. When I noticed som rot I contacted Nema and several other roofers for a diagnosis and estimate. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and after a thorough inspection i received a fair estimate. The scope of work to be done was completely explained to me. On the appointed day the team arrived on time, I (and my dog) were introduced to all team members. The work was completed in a timely manner, in process changes were explained and discussed and agreed to, and all work areas were left in a clean state. From front office staff to workers, all of my contacts were personable and professional. Calls were returned promptly and the final invoice contained no surprises. i would not hesitate to use AHI Roofing again and i recommend them to my friends. read more

I met with Thomas K. for an estimate. He explained the process, materials, warranties, guarantees, and workmanship NEMA Roofing provides. My roof was badly in need of replacement before the predicted 2026 El Niño arrives. They worked to fit my roof into the schedule. Any problems that arose were discussed, and the additional costs were negotiated to mutual satisfaction. NEMA provided me with a 25-year workmanship/ 50-year warranty on the roof materials for the Shingle roof. Also, a 10-year workmanship warranty/ 20-year warranty on the roof materials for the Flat portion of my roof. In my opinion, the entire interaction with their crew exceeded my expectations and requirements. A good value, it was well worth it for me to have NEMA Roofing complete the work for the house that I intend to keep in the family. I would recommend. read more

I just had Adam replace my roof. This is the second roof I asked his crew to replace. Adam and his crew are the professionals--prompt responses, clear explanation and documentation. The job is done like clock work. The price is reasonable. In addition, this time I needed the job done in a tight time frame and he made it happen. I really appreciate his professionalism and good service. One more thing I would say about Adam is that he is not someone who will replace a roof whenever a call comes in just to make money. If a repair would suffice, he will say so. He would also make necessory repairs when wood rots are revealed after the old roofing material is removed. What good is it to put a good roof on bad rafters or shealthing?! I would say, in all respects, Adam and his crew are trustworthy people. read more

Just had my roof replaced by Adam from Nema Roofing a couple of days ago and I'm really glad I went with him. After getting some leaks during recent rains, It felt it was time for a new roof. I'm pretty picky about house stuff, especially because of costly they can be, so I got 5 estimates. Adam really stood out, he actually took the time to explain everything and taught me a lot about roofing I had no idea about. You could tell he really knows his stuff. When they started the work, his crew was great. Everything he explained during the estimate is exactly what they did, and the new roof looks awesome, and best part is there's no more leaks! If you need roof work done, definitely give slr a call and ask for Adam, you'll learn a thing or two about roofs and get great work done too. read more

After the great experience of getting an estimate with Adam, we decided to go with Nema Roofing for our roof replacement. They were always communicative from the start of the project. They provided photos for any items that needed to be discussed. Each day they were finished on site, they would clean up the ground around the house to ensure there was no mess left behind. They were very easy to work with and the job was completed without any issues and in a timely manner. The communication and professionalism shown by the entire team was excellent. Price was also competitive compared to other companies. We don't expect any issues with the new roof, but if there happen to be any, they provide an extensive warranty on their labor and will come back to make any repairs needed. read more

I highly recommend Nema Rooifing! I contacted them about my roof. They did such a great job getting that done for me and working with my insurance company! I also decided to hired them to replace my siding in a very specific dark charcoal color, to coordinate with my new roof and the brick front of my house. They covered the soffit and fascia, replaced my old small gutters with new larger ones and nice downspouts. They even replaced my shutters and re-roofed my shed to match the house!! Nema Roofing has been very responsive when I have called. They did exactly what they said and cleaned up after!! I loved my house before, but I love it even more now that they made it more beautiful! Thanks to Adam and Thomas and all the other hard working employees at Nema Roofing. read more

Needed a roof repair after the last rain and Nema Roofing arrived to the rescue. Was very satisfied with Mike (the project manager), and his explanation of the project. The scope of what was done to complete the job, to assure the leak would be corrected, was carefully thought out. They also patched a wooden beam that was not part of the roof, though may have in some way contributed to the leakage. The main office kept me updated of the scheduling and answered all the questions & follow up details. The cost was as expected and seemed very fair, especially considering the extra work done. I had previously used Nema Roofing about 7 years ago, and shall certainly call upon them again if needed. We need more companies of their caliber and fairness. read more

Adam and his crew took care of replacing broken tiles and securing all of the loose tiles on our roof. The also checked and cleaned all of the flashing around the skylight, chimney and valley to make sure it was in good shape, We had a facia board, rafter tails and starter row wood that had some dry rot as well. Adam and his crew removed a couple rows of tile replaced the wood that was damaged and put new underlayment and reinstalled the tiles. He even told us if we had the paint he would be happy to paint the new wood for us which was great. He advised us that our skylight had a couple of cracks and showed us the pictures. He gave us a very competitive estimate to replace the skylight which we plan to do as soon as he locates the right size. read more

After gathering estimates, I decided to go with Nema Roofing for my roof replacement because Adam offered the most comprehensive walkthrough of the roof in addition to competitive pricing. Many of the other companies would show up for site visits, but it felt rushed and they didn't really bother to hear my concerns whereas Adam took the time to chat through shingle colors, warranties, skylights and unique scheduling that involved my rafters being replaced in between the roof teardown and rebuild. During the job, there were a couple minor differences of expectations with all of which were addressed promptly with texts/calls to Adam. The responsiveness and customer centric focus was really impressive. My roof looks great! read more
