I called that same evening and he picked up right away, I FaceTimed him and showed him the issue with my lock. He was very knowledgeable and said he would come first thing in the morning. The next morning, Frank came promptly ( brought an extra specialized lock just in case) and he took the time to assess what was wrong. Frank was very honest with me and said the underlying issue was not the lock but the leveling of my door. He could easily have replaced the lock and charged me for that as well as his time to come to the house. Instead, he DIDNT charge me and said he didn't do anything ( although he did adjust my lock a bit to help me utilize the lock temporarily). Although he didn't actually change my locks and I didn't fully use his service, I will promote his services to anyone and everyone I know both verbally and through social media because he deserves ALL the business because of his knowledge, hard work and HONESTY. He said he would call 30 minutes before arrival. 45 minutes after he was scheduled there was still no call. We called him multiple times from the number he's aware of and at no time did he answer. I called him one time from a different number and he answered immediately saying I'll call you right back without knowing who I was. I then canceled the appointment and told him so. I also left a location after being there for two hours and 45 minutes without hearing from him. Then he wrote back with some tremendously grand excuse about a domestic violence situation that apparently he was fixing the locks in the middle of. If that's true, I'm sorry for whoever was a part of that and don't want that energy in my home. If that's not true, which is where I'm leaning, that just confirms why this man should be avoided at all cost. If you need locksmithing done, call a person who actually values you, your time, and their commitments to you and your families safety. This man seems unstable and most likely unsafe given the excuse he provided.

The person who talked to me on the phone was very informative and understanding which made the process Very smoothly. Idk about the readers like you, but I know 0% of how changing locks, rekeying works. It was my first time knowing "rekeying" exists. But she was patient and kind to help me through. The actual locksmith came on time and actually tried his very best to make the lock fit my needs. Our commercial space needs a special ADA compliant handle from the inside and he was able to alter my original door to fit. Too bad I'm not changing any lock anytime soon otherwise I would love to use them again!
