If you didn't have the measurements or couldn't complete the job, I should have been told when I dropped them off--not on the day they were promised. Unfortunately, my experience with the new ownership was completely different. I brought in two simple sundresses that each needed only a basic hem. I was quoted $50 per dress, or $100 total. The cost of the alterations was more than the dresses were worth, so I politely decided to take them elsewhere. The part that disappointed me most was the way I was treated after declining the service. The owner appeared annoyed, rolled the dresses up into a ball, handed them back to me, and walked away. It felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Sadly, because of both the pricing and the customer service, I won't be returning.
