Unfortunately some individuals reported to Yelp that the business was closed simply because the old (Verizon) phone has been disconnected. This business is open and incorrect statements to the contrary are only hurting the owner's business. Jingjing, the owner, is terrific - she offers friendly, fast, and inexpensive service whether you are using her shop for dry cleaning or tailoring. I've been here before, back in February 2026 to have a bridesmaid dress altered and they did a…read morewonderful job, so I didn't hesitate to return. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. I brought in a simple double layered dress that only needed to be hemmed and was quoted $140, more than the dress itself! I was told that because it had two layers, it was essentially like "hemming two dresses." At $70 a layer, I guess every layer counts. I then asked about simply taking in the waist of a pair of jeans. I was initially quoted $25, but after looking at them again, I was told there was suddenly "a lot more work" involved and that I had been quoted incorrectly. At that point, I took both items and left. I went to another alterations shop and was quoted under $100 for BOTH the dress and the jeans. It seems management may have changed since my last visit, which is unfortunate because I was previously very happy with their work. Hopefully the pricing doesn't continue in this direction, because $140 to hem a simple dress is pretty hard to justify.
