There is nothing extraordinary about this Neiman Marcus and the only time I've ever gone was to return items purchased online. I would like to note that Marissa in customer service was incredibly helpful this morning. Yesterday I had called with an inquiry about returning a gift and was rudely rushed off the phone by an associate in the Handbag department. I called again this morning and Marissa took the time to not only hear me out, but was able to look up the order number and give me a few options on how to proceed with my return. Neiman-Marcus has provided an exquisite shopping experience to me for many years now. All of the sales associates are very helpful and knowledgeable; they can always help me find what I am looking for, and they have many great recommendations as well. Men's can be a bit understocked at times, where are the Charvet shirts? Other than that, everything is very nice and I can always find something I like. The people on the main floor are very nice, and the Molton Brown soaps I like are always in stock. Nice selection of men's fragrance and specialty French, etc. candles as well. Chanel boutique is good because they will help you look for gifts for others there. Don't spend much time on the women's floors but have heard from others it is very good there as well. The restaurant on the fourth floor is pleasant and has a nice lunch menu, try the chocolate chip cookies. Spent a lot of money here this Christmas because the staff are always so helpful. I haven't been to this restaurant since it was remodeled. They did an amazing job decorating. The food was as good or wven better than I remembered. As usual, the popovers were amazing! Great attentive service. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

Never shop at Neiman Marcus again!!! I order something over the weekend and it was supposed to come with a free bonus item. Then you get an email from them with the following message: We apologize, we are unable to fulfill your order as requested. The merchandise below is no longer available and has been cancelled. Funny thing is that they shipped the other item that I bought at full price. Isn't this really bad and deceptive sales practices? Anyways, it'll be a return shipment when I get it and I'll never shop there again. read more

Very beautiful store. 4 floors if you include the lower men's department. Sometimes this store is very quiet and empty and sometimes it's very crowded. Overall most of the staff are kind but not that helpful. You have to approach a salesperson for help because they never come to you. They have Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chanel, Prada, and more boutiques on the first and third floor. read more

Went to Neiman's on Monday 15 September. In clothing, I could not find anything in my size in both contemporary and luxury designer, and when I asked a sales associate, I was informed that they rarely carry anything smaller than a US 4; anything smaller would have to be ordered. She said that this store "does a lot of ordering" in order to get smaller women their sizes. I was really disappointed because they do have a wide selection but the fact they don't carry merchandise in my size is just flat out ludicrous. Will not be wasting my time in that store again. read more

Lol...this place is a joke. I'm not sure who the retail associates think they are, but they're insanely snotty. Half of them don't even pay me any mind when I walk in, maybe because I'm dressed down to walk around the mall? Anyway, I was in the shoe department and looking at Chanel shoes and the woman standing there came over to me and said "Those are very expensive." Ok...lol... when I told her I actually have them and was just looking for another color she said "Oh really? Because they're all sold out.". I let her know I didn't get them from "you people" I got them at SAKS..where they're not nasty human beings like these snots. You work off commission, maybe it wouldn't kill you to be a little nicer. I tried again a few weeks ago to look for wedding shoes and there were multiple airheads standing around but again, wouldn't help me with anything. I took my business elsewhere thank YOU! Their inventory sucks too..the woman's clothes section isn't which is why I gave 2 stars. I'd rather drive to the Short Hills mall to go to Neiman Marcus than 10 minutes to go here. read more

AWFUL. I bought a Hickey-Freeman suit at Neiman Marcus in White Plains for $868.75 back in July of 2015. Had the suit altered there, as it was included. After several weeks, got the suit back and it was too large and the front button fell off. Way too much room in the jacket and pants. Poor tailoring. I wore it a few times after having a tailor by my office fix the button, and then just took it out of rotation until I could get back to the store again, which isn't very often unless I want to deprive myself of weekend activities. A couple of weeks ago, I called and asked if I could bring the suit in finally to be adjusted correctly. They said sure, the tailor is in on the weekend so just stop in. I get there and they tell me oh, you have to have the suit dry cleaned before you bring it in. OK, could have told me that on the phone, but whatever. So, I get the suit cleaned and went back this past Sunday again. I get all measured up and then I'm presented with a $175 bill. What? Why? They say it's because its been too long since the purchase date. I'm like, you didn't do it right the first time, the suit has hardly been worn, just look at it. They make we wait another 1/2 hour to see what they can do and come back with splitting the difference. I told them just give me the suit back and I'll have my own guy fix it the right way. Wonder what they'll do when they have no customers left to piss off. read more

This store is the worst. The salespeople have the worst attitudes of all the Neimans, Bergdorfs, Saks, Nordstroms combined. They shipped me a $5K bag in a soiled cover bag without its original box. HORRIBLE experience here each time I shop.. so tired of it that I refuse to go anymore. read more

Sales people have been here too long and think they own the store, they are rude and unhelpful!! Neimans need to fire about 2/3 of the employees and get some nice, friendly new salespeople! Making returns is a nightmare, the customer service department is also extremely rude. read more

I agree with a previous comment. However I was dressed nicely, on my lunch break and happened to wander in there. No one even looked up for about forty five minutes on the second floor, finally one lady asked to help. I bought something only because she was the exception to the rule there. This is my worst experience ever in my life in a high end store run by unprofessional people although my wife always shops at Neiman Marcus stores. Management was calling me on the phone a few hours after a credit was issued by their employees and telling me come pick up your returned merchandise which they had given me a receipt for and that I won't get my money back for a return merchandise. Are you kidding me ? Management at this store was harassing me telling me they wont give me my money back after I had returned my wife's dress. I had to call their corporate office in Texas to let them know that their management has serious issues and they need to go back on retraining or get fired I would suggest these people managing the store have no idea how to run a business its a joke. Management people running this store really need psychiatric help they're extremely rude and nasty. I would suggest to stay away from this store unless they change their current management or go somewhere else. read more
