Fred and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and patient. They will make sure you leave with the right shoes for your needs. They will never steer you wrong. Additionally they have great sales throughout the year. Truly a one of a kind experience and store with people who actually care. read more

The staff was incredible and the shoe selection is great. This is not a huge warehouse, but the inventory has a great selection of sneakers. I brought my 82-year-old Mother to the store and Andy took good care of her. He brought out a selection of shoes for her to try on, he was able to explain how the sneaker supported different muscles and parts of the feet. He even helped her get the shoes on. This is an excellent shoe-shopping experience if you are accompanying a Senior. The staff is patient, but they do their job fast. The store also sells support socks for conditions like plantar fasciitis. read more

I have big feet and many places don't have a great selection with extra width sizes but com fit shoes on central Ave in Scarsdale does and I am glad I visited . Good selection of men's and ladies footware from sporty , casual , dress , etc and prices and service are two thumbs up . The gentleman who helped me was a kind dude who showed me about 6 pairs of casual sneakers and was knowledgeable explaining who , what and why . After 10 minutes I decided on three pairs and we'll worth the reasonable cost . The comfort from before to after is very much noticable and now I don't feel like my feet are being squeezed by the sneakers I wear . If you got large feet in size and width and comfort is an issue , try com fit shoes in Scarsdale, worth the visit .4.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Com Fit Shoes has been in business for many years providing the extra care people need who have wide feet or who might desire a little extra comfort for their feet. With so many options including ordering shoes on the internet, you mat have forgotten what it's like to enter a shoe store and receiving the kind of professional treatment, your feet deserve! I've gone to Con Fit for many years and I've always been incredibly impressed with the staff's knowledge and skills regarding what's best for my feet. They also specialize in providing orthotics which many of us need when we begin to feel pain in our arches. I went to Com-Fit yesterday because I had purchased special orthotics through a podiatrist but after wearing them in my shoes, instead of feeling better, I was having additional discomfort. Fortunately, Bill Liebman saw the problem and explained that I had been fitted with orthotics for a dress shoe and it wasn't providing the stability in my sneakers! I walked out with the right orthotics for my new shoes and realized I could have saved a few hundred dollars had I gone to Com-Fit when I first began to have foot pain. Com-Fit has been in business for over thirty years and they have a great selection of shoes in all different sizes. You could get a great pair of shoes even if you have regular sized feet, but I'm guessing, they will probably be the right fit ! read more

Excellent service the salesperson (lady) was very knowledgeable and professional. Spent time on me. Didn't rush or convince me to buy something I didn't need. Bought a very good shoe. Will be back ... read more

In general, the store and service are good and past experiences have all been good but my latest visit was not. I tried on a pair of shoes and when I said I'd take them I showed the postcard they had sent me for a $12 discount and then paid. When I got home I noticed on the receipt that the cost of the shoes before discount was $5 more than I had seen on the box when trying them on. So I looked at the box and saw that the sales woman had sloppily put a new sticker over the old one raising the price by $5. I wouldn't have minded if when she saw the postcard she said they couldn't apply the discount without taking a loss or something similar, but to try to slip this by is not cool. You offer a discount and then pull a cheesy move like this? Last time I shop there. read more

At the suggestion of my podiatrist, I went to Com-Fit shoes yesterday. Bill, one of the shoes salesmen was extremely helpful in finding me supportive sneakers and sandals for my long and flat feet. I felt like I was at a "shoe salon" . The customer service was exceptional. Bill took the time and shared knowledge of how arch supports worked as well as how to properly use a shoe horn, lol. He was very personable and patient with me. Though my purchase was expensive, I would say that it was worth it. I was educated on what to look for in a supportive shoe or sneaker. For any of you that suffer from foot problems and are in need of supportive shoes, Com-Fit is the place to go. You will not be disappointed. read more

RNs take notice**** I am an RN and always on my feet for 12+ hours 4 days a week.. Went into this store and was immediately assisted with my needs. The salesman spoke openly and honestly and gave me good advice. He quickly fitted me with an insole and new supportive sneakers to help my worsening heel pain. Day 3 of wearing the new shoes and insoles and my feet feel better already. Definitely recommend checking them out for guaranteed results. Parking on site too. And there's a 15% off purchase coupon floating around online. read more

This is absolutely the best shoe store in Westchester County for service, selection and knowledgeable professionals ( the old fashioned shoe dogs ) They spend the time to help you and have a superb selection of every day shoes, runners and walkers, dress shoes and slippers. They practice social distancing and all the Covid- 19 FDA protocols. Make this your next stop - your feet and overall health will thank you ! read more

Arrived at the store at 4:43 to quickly check it out. The sign on the door said "open Sunday till 5," and customers were in the store. The salesperson looked directly at us as we tried open the door (which was locked), but he didn't even address us! We stood there for about a minute, but he looked at us again and walked away! What a disappointment! We were looking to support a local business, but this person was so unprofessional. We won't be coming back. read more

Very disappointed. Just needed a different size and was told I have to return shoes to China. Going to cost over $100.

I would never purchase anything from this merchant again nor would I recommend this place to family and friends. Merchants made no attempt to welcome me into the store,However the gentleman who took care of me managed to be cordial. The item that I purchased was over priced and didn't fit my needs so I returned it. Upon entering the store to return the item which was early in the morning no one greeted me nor did anyone say thank you upon my departure. Customer service means everything to me . It's so bothersome to me when you enter into an establishment and people look at you as if you're growing a head. I'm a woman of color and my money looks and spends the same way as everyone else in the country !! read more

This is the shoe place if you work on your feet or have any type of foot issues. Seems to be a family owned shop - gents appear to be father and son. Both know their business. They understand shoe structure and medical issues and how they relate to one another. They carry most of the high-quality brands. read more

Ok, so normally, I'm not one to criticize, but my only experience here was not a good one. I had come in to the store because I was looking for some shoes that would provide more support since I have I have foot and ankle problems from having high arches that collapse and breaking my ankle twice and having two screws in my ankle (which affects the nerves). Now I am young, (only in my 20's), and not the typical clientele for "orthopedic" shoes, but my needs are real and I heard that this place had shoes by good brands that were cute too! While the shoes were really cute, and looked comfortable, I was never able to even try anything on. I had walked through the entire store, looking at shoes on the wall, picking them up, feeling the insole and padding for 15 MINUTES and NO ONE bothered to help me or even ask if I needed any help. While there were only 2 other customers in the store, I had 2 sales associates walk right past me and stare at me, but no one bothered to attempt to help me. I mean, seriously, 15 minutes! That is a long time to be waiting and wandering a store hoping someone will assist you. or at least notice that your a customer in need of help. For the price and quality of the shoes ($100 and up), I'd expect the customer service to be a lot better. In fact, I've gotten better customer service and attention from Payless Shoe Source than I have from Com-Fit Shoes. I got the feeling from this store that they didn't think I was a serious customer since I am so young (and probably not who they expect to be shopping there). I was willing to buy a few pairs of shoes if someone would assist me, but no one there even gave me the time of day. read more

Sovana is the best shoe sales person I have ever come across. I have terrible feet that are extremely hard to fit. She brought out 22 pairs of shoes each one with a smile and patience of a saint. Unfortunately only two pairs fit. LOL. If you want to be treated royally Silvana is the one to see. read more

Go here if you want to find comfortable shoes and expert fitters. Marnie (sp?) has been a lifesaver for me.... I am used to going to shoe stores where nothing fits well, and the best shoes I can find are a "B" -- they leave blisters and marks even when they are from "comfortable" brands. Marnie diagnosed my issue quickly (an unnaturally high instep, which makes most shoes rub up on me on top) and picked out shoes that would sidestep (ha) my issue. I seriously could have walked out with any shoe she recommended and have had happy feet... I limited myself to 3 pairs. You're not going to find manolos here, nor are the shoes uber pretty. But if you like comfort brands (aerosoles, Clark's, naturalizer, etc) you are going to love their expertise. And also- they are in the bottom floor of what looks like an office building and fairly set back from the street. This is how you know they are good - they do almost no store advertising and yet they are really busy every time I am there. read more

First time here and what a great experience ! I dread going shoe shopping because I have 2 bunions. I found this place online and decided to stop in. I was greeted right away by Wayne. He was nice , patient, helpful and gave great suggestions. As someone in there 30s, they did have cute options for younger people. Half the store is for older people and orthopedic shoes. I waled out with 3 cute summer shoes. I can't wait to wear them !! read more

I have been buying my shoes here for a number of years. I have very hard to fit feet with many issues but I like an attractive shoe. The employees go out of their way to ensure I find a shoe I like and that fits comfortably. While their shoes are a bit pricey, they have nice sales and they are far more reasonable than another highly rated shoe store further south on Central Avenue. This is my shoe store of choice. Com-Fit Shoes is a store I'm always glad to visit. The owner and staff have an enormous body of expertise. With just a glance, the proprietor easily described my fitting challenges (wide ball, curly toes, ultra-high arch, and narrow heel). WIthout wasting any time having me try shoes that can't accommodate that combination of challenges, he identified just two designs: An almost perfect pair of dancing shoes (very hard to find the right combination of style and comfort--alas, this pair didn't handle my ultra-low ankle bones). Next I tried a great looking pair of jogging shoes (I bought them). With all that, I walked out in under 15 minutes. It has always been good to shop at Com-Fit Shoes. I am hard to fit, and very picky about style. The staff is always courteous and helpful. I shop at ComFit twice a year. Marny is my go-to salesperson. When I stopped in she was working with two women and I wanted to wait for her. After 10 minutes or so, a lovely man said he would help me on 'her' behalf, and he was great! I had 10 pairs to try on and bought only two. I visited Com-Fit Shoes last week and found that they had a very good selection of spring and summer footwear. I especially like the fact that I can find my size, 5-5-1/2 in many of their styles. While they specialize in conservative, comfortable shoes, they also feature many attractive styles, that while not trendy, are very fashionable. read more
