The manager came over and couldn't care less and said "no one's paid in cash today we can't break that" and walked away. She clearly doesn't value her customers. In a store shouldn't you be prepared for people to pay in cash? Just my opinion. Will never come back here even though it's super close to my home. Would rather make the drive to mount Vernon or somewhere else just not here.

Tell me why? The old…read moreaddress is up online. But in fact the store has located about 200 feet from the old place. But that's not what I'm complaining about. I pulled up to the store, and noticed it was empty. So I called up the number and some jack off picks up, and was a complete A hole. No hello, no bye, no nothing. Now to you this might not mean anything. But to me this is everything. How you gonna be a D head on the phone and expect me to drop a couple hundred on boots? That would mean that I tolerate this type of treatment. Matter of fact, in the real world, you should be kissing my A$$ to spend a couple hundred on boots made by your store. So guess what, I went next door to DSW and bought some boots instead of Redwings. Now I ain't gonna lie, I was excited to go check out the store. But this D head ruined the whole freakin drive for me. It was an hour long drive to get there. But no Problem. I hope you reading this, and I hope your manager or whoever above you is reading this. Or someone that cares about professionalism is reading this. You are the reason people internet shop, you are the reason your business will go out of business. But to you I'm sure it don't mean anything. Cuz it's not your business, you can just apply to the next retail store and F$$k it up for them. For reference, today's incident happened on 01/03/2026 at 2:04pm. If one of ya wanna play detective to find out who was working. Track that time and date. I'm sure it's not the first complaint about this A$$ head. I ended up spending 4 and change next door and got 4 pairs of fire sh*t. Maybe this was a blessing. Maybe god did look out for me, for placing this POS on the phone when I called up.

I also have several pair of her shoes, which are the same good quality, and classic designs as her clothing. What I have run into recently, and this is by no means exclusive to Eileen Fisher, is fairly large discrepancies in shoe sizing from individual pair-to-pair. While this is industry wide, I felt writing a review describing my issues might resonate with this business. I of course have no idea how this occurs... but this ex-engineer can only guess there are several places in the manufacturing process where sizing might go awry. I tried on 4 different pair of her Uber comfortable Pep Skate Sneaker, and each one fit differently. Ranging from a half, to a full size too small, and a half size too big. I know for sure I am never taking shoe reviews seriously again. Yes, one pair fit *just right*... and it is welcomed home! I am sure I am not alone..... Thanks Eileen Fisher for populating my wardrobe with items I rely on.
