After talking with the store owner I learned she works really hard to support artists all over the world (especially women designers.) She works directly with the designers to support them and sell their items in her store. This store is the oldest boutique in Piermont and her items are of far superior quality than the rest of the stores. There's a sales rack in the front and back of the store too in case people are looking for more affordable options. I saw some comments about people getting peeved that the store owner doesn't greet them right away when they walk into the store and ya'll need a reality check- this is one woman running an entire store operation front to back. When you come in and if you are looking for that one-on-one style advice, I'd recommend going up to her and saying hi and asking for help (and greeting her dog Lola too.) Her demeanor is honest, she will tell you what looks good and won't sell you something that looks bad. Some people are put off by such honesty but others love it. She's not going to pander to you to force a sale like the other stores which I appreciate. All in all, I love this store and will keep coming back every time I'm in Piermont.
