Even though LL Bean is a company which supports DRUMPF, I still like shopping here because the…read moreproducts they make are high quality, look very good, have a very wide range, and because the store has a great policy when it comes to repairs, returns, and whatever your needs might be. Ridge hill is really inaccessable for most people, but I took a cab from Yonkers station so that made it a lot easier (it is technically possible to walk here from somewhere like Bronxville station, but will take about 45 minutes). After visiting the cheesecake factory, I popped in here and holy balls is this place big. I can totally understand why they don't have a store in Manhattan: to fit even half of their products into the average store size in the city would be impossible. They have kayaks and camping tents and stuff like that here, so a large space is absolutely necessary. I think that coming to the store, especially a store like LL Bean, can be superfluous in some ways in 2018, considering that everything that can be bought in this store can be bought online, and also considering that they're almost always sold out of bean boots, so the fastest way to get them would be to shop for them online. That said, for first time buyers, it may be a good idea to come to the store directly first before you become more of an online shopper. Bean boots in particular can be a little tricky, because they run kind of big, and coming into the store to try them on can be a big help. This LLB was especially helpful with my transaction, since I was shopping for shoes for my mom and got a size too big. I wound up losing my receipt, but luckily LLB was able to pull my info from the system based on my zip and my name, and told me I could bring the shoes into the store anytime for an exchange, or even a refund if I wanted. (FWIW, my mom wears a 38, which translates into a womens size 7- I bought a 6). Hats off to LLB.

I have purchased numerous items - Prada shoes, a Goyard purse, Chanel purse, Michael Kors purse, Balenciaga purse, and countless beautiful clothes. They are all brand new or close to it (literally cannot tell they've been worn/used) and I always get compliments because a lot of the pieces are so unique. She gets new stuff all the time which is great - every time I go there I always leave with something. The online store now is great too since I moved so I can shop from afar. Months later, I still don't have a replacement band, haven't received any meaningful updates, and communication from both the store and corporate has essentially stopped. At this point, the issue isn't just the defective product, things happen. It's the complete lack of accountability, follow-up, and basic customer service that's most frustrating. For a brand positioned as premium, this level of after-sales support is frankly unacceptable.
