Interesting-I think my review will be some what similar to others I have read. So I went earlier…read moretoday because I needed a new grip for my pickleball racket. As I was looking at the immense number of grips to choose from, I asked a younger girl who worked there which she would suggest and she just pointed and said any. So I was still confused-so I asked another associate who was stringing a tennis racket and he also sort of gave a half ass answer and called for another associate. The employees were not very friendly or helpful-hence I am not giving five stars. However, I finally got the right person-seemed like the manager and she was fantastic. She spent about 20 minutes trying to peal apart my old grip--using all sorts of tools and it was disintegrating in her hands, so I felt really bad. Once she managed to get it off she put on the new grip for me, which was so nice--she really went out of her way to make sure it worked, so I appreciated that. Also-their selection is fabulous--at least in the pickleball area where I was looking--tons of rackets to demo, grips, bags, tennis/pickleball attire etc. I will definitely will go back in the future, if I need other pickleball items, just hoping the employees won't look so annoyed and disinterested if I ask a question.

The staff is completely dismissive and rude. They yell at each other and speak to customers in the…read moresame tone. It is a very tense and stressful place to shop as you are made to feel like you're bothering the staff by being there. If you have a question it is answered in a one word sentence and accompanied by rolling eyes or rude faces being made. Basic rules of retail is the be respectful and kind to clients in the store, start hiring people who actually care to work there and help people.

I said excuse me about four times and she never turned around so I had to approach her myself and as a shoe salesman, your job is to do exactly that try and sell shoes and she wasn't even giving 1% of effort into trying to help me leave the store with a pair of shoes so I decided to get nothing, and went to another store.

No one offers help to you or to see if you need a larger size shoe, and if you look for someone, the only worker in the store is either at the register or on their phones. I brought in my mother's 1940 very worn, brown, alligator pumps and a matching purse with a ripped…read morestrap, and they went to work. They secured an alligator hide to remake the leather purse strap. They relined the bag and the shoes. When finished (which took about 4 weeks, due to waiting for the alligator hide) this pair of shoes with the matching bag looked like new. I've also had Occhicone re-dye a Coach bag, repair a briefcase, fix many pairs of shoes for me. I have a special pair of Ferragamos that fit me like a glove, and I bring them in every year for rehab. After 15 years, they look new. I give Occhicone 5 stars! PS, they could do much better answering their voice messages. I sent them a post card asking them to call me.
