Before I went into the store, I called and was told I didn't need an appointment.I was coming in from out of town. The lady on the phone was very dismissive and unconcerned. I went to the store several days later and was given a reasonable wait time. While browsing, a man, whom I now know is the owner, approached my friend and said he heard me ask about getting measured for a bra and wanted to make sure I was going to buy one. REALLY? What an utterly rude and base inquiry. Couldn't you think of anything better to say to a potentially new customer? The customer service is just awful - very self impressed crew. I left immediately and did very well elsewhere. Stay away!

The location is also ideal as its right on Greenwich's main street close to the train. Plus the shop keeper, Gail, was incredibly helpful and easy to get in touch with questions about the gifts I was interested in. I wish more stores has such terrific customer service and products!

Shopping for shoes has always been hard for me. My feet run on the larger side and are very wide as well as one of them being half a size bigger than the other. Shari, the woman who helped me, was one of the most accommodating, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoyable people I have ever met. I usually don't look forward to shopping whatsoever let alone shoe shopping, and not only did I find shoes I loved Shari somehow made me EXCITED about the entire thing. I was planning to stop in for maybe 5 minutes, but somehow I was In the store for over 4 hours! Shari brought out not only shoes I had asked to see, but also styles and colors that were not on the floor that she thought I would like and that were actually in my size. She also heard I lived near snow and without me having to ask brought out brands that were water proof and all weather boots. I was astonished how enthusiastic she was about the whole process. I actually found shoes I loved which almost never happens. I never once felt pressured to buy anything and loved shopping so much I actually started to shop for clothes as well. She was also very knowledgeable about all the brands they carry. There was a coat I loved that I was sure was real fur and being a vegan I couldn't bring myself to buy it. Shari actually knew quite a bit about the brand and informed me they were a progressive faux fur company that were committed to making high quality products without the use of animals. She knew a lot about the owners of the company and their origins. I found a brand I love which wouldn't have happened without Shari being so knowledgeable about her products. If you have time I would stop into the store just to have Shari help you shop. I know she's moving from the Greenwich location to be the manager at the location in Mount Kisco. She's honestly wonderful and if I could bring her everywhere I shop I would!

I consigned several thousand $$$$$$$ worth of Lux, at this store, the owner Ellen knew me, I was in fact a customer of hers, I had gone through a horrible divorce and she was aware. I trusteed her with very fine things, and she was not honest, She refused to provide a listing of what sold and for how much it sold for, for months! I had two push very hard for this, her record keeping is a nightmare, you see she had me over the barrel so to speak, as I moved to Paris, Fr, one of the items I consigned was a Dolce and Gabana black lace dress I purchased at Richards, When, I finally sent my son to pick up what she said "did not sell," included was a dress, she had let someone barrow it and they washed it, it was a mess ruined, A $3,500.00 dress. Sunglasses are returned with out the original boxes, shoes with out dust bags, She is dishonest and before I consigned anything to this store, Id just give it to your girlfriends, before Id give it to a stranger, She is not to be trusted, one of the worst, experiences I have ever had. Being involved in fashion my entire life has really taken me to some of the most amazing places on this earth. Consigned Designs is one of them. With all the top designers at your fingertips for prices I, at first did not believe were real. I purchased a gorgeous Celine Medium Trapeze brand new, never used for about half the price of retail about a year ago. I still carry it till this day. The clothing is amazing and priced correctly. It doesn't even feel like your shopping consignment. The environment gives off a lovely boutique feel. The clothing all comes from pet-free, smoke-free homes and everything is in-season. For anyone looking for an even better deal than what is continuously offered, head upstairs for the 50% room where you can head home with brands like, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang, Guy Laroche, Lanvin and many more. I met Tom at least 5 years ago on metro north and he couldn't speak more highly about his wife or her store, 'Consigned Designs'. Before he even knew I worked in the beauty and fashion industry, he encouraged me to visit the shop on Mason Street which has since expanded. As you can imagine, I didn't walk out empty-handed. I bought a teal Isabella Fiore purse that is still my work bag every fall season. Each spring or so, I go through my closet hoping to find items I can consign (hello, designer bridesmaid dresses never to be worn again) and Ellen is always there with a smile ready to graciously accept or not accept (but still gracious) my designer misfits. Having tried similar designer consignment shops between Greenwich and Westport, I can honestly say this is the ONLY place worth your business. read more

This store is so amazing. I truly do not have to buy luxury retail anymore because I find the most beautiful pieces here for half the price! Not only do they offer luxury goods but they also have contemporary pieces for amazing prices. This is the best consignment store I have ever come across. The staff is beyond wonderful and they go out of their way to make sure they give you the best shopping experience. Consigned Designs is extremely fair with consigning your goods as well. They make sure to give you the best price and they do tons of research before putting your items up for sale in the store or online. The owner, Ellen, is extremely trustworthy, nice, and thoughtful. This is not your average consignment store. It is a luxury resale boutique with all of the best designer brands you can think of. From Chanel and Hermes to Louis Vuitton and Prada, its all here for your taking, and for prices you cannot beat anywhere. I purchased a Balenciaga bag that looked like-new for 1/3 of its retail cost, I was amazed. The owner Ellen was magnificent and more than willing to help with anything I needed. They also have online shopping with FREE shipping, for when I am stuck with the kids and don't have time to get down to the shop. A wonderful experience that you just can't miss. read more

What's there not to LOVE about Consigned Designs!! You can find just about anything you would want or need for your wardrobe. The clothes are in great condition (some with original price tags) with a wide selection of what is "trending". You can tell the staff are incredibly selective about what is sold.
