I love Zara and this location is pretty awesome. Even though they don't have a men's section (huge disappointment for my husband LOL) they do have women and children. This is not your regular mall location where you can stroll indoors and make your stops as you go. Zara in Greenwich is its own thing, the outdoor mall vibe is pretty awesome even though it really isn't a mall more of like a shopping strip. This Zara location seems to have a bit more of elevated looks and certain pieces some stores don't necessarily have. I did come here right before the holiday season and they had so many really nice party pieces that just ate. It's on the smaller side but for sure a place to help you find your next fit. read more

Unfortunately, I had a really disappointing experience at Zara. The service was horrible, especially from the manager, who had a very unpleasant attitude toward me even though I was nothing but polite and respectful. Great Zara store, different than other Zara's stores, more fashion and design clothes, black labeled Zara's items at very good prices. Some older reviews show long waiting times at check out, but that was the previous Zara store at this location, before they remodeled and updated their check out in 2024, which now is automatic and you don't even scan each item, you put all the clothes on the counter and you get the total in 5 seconds, yes 5 seconds or less, couldn't be faster. The longest lines you will ever see. Prepare to wait 45-60 minutes on the weekend. I've never seen more than two people working checkout, this is in women's and men's combined. Ever. Please hire more staff, so many people give up before making it to the register. read more

In Zara here for the first time and I'm afraid to say the other 1 start reviews are RIGHT!!!. Horrible store. Horrible management. BE VERY CAREFUL! They are labeling items with a lesser price then charging more for it unbeknownst to the consumer. I picked up a jacket flabbier for $69. When I got to the register ready to pay after the cashier rang my items. I noticed my charge amount was more thank expected. And there it was the jacket was ringing up $120 even tho the same Identical jackets were ticketed $69!!! The cashier said oh don't worry we'll override it. I just need a manager. When she came she told me the price is what it is ringing up. Not was is written on the actual item. I'm confused. Is this a mew scam Zara is running. Please don't ship here !! Every store on Greenwich avenue let's you try on clothes except for this one. People then have to try it on when they get home and return them - which is why you need to be prepared to wait in line for 30-40 minutes. read more

I just returned home from going to the Zara Norwalk, Connecticut location in the Sono Collection Mall. I bought a pair of shorts and crop tank top. I went to the Yard House restaurant to eat and try on my clothing and then realized I did not have my receipt in my bag as expected. I returned to the store at 5:00p, 1 hour and a half after purchase to retrieve a receipt from register and refund my purchase. As soon as the manager saw me she said she can't help me and that I have to follow up with customer service. I then asked her if there are any other options. She said no. She said the register can not go back to previous transactions and asked me to leave. I was completely insulted and surprised. Tracy, the manager is a white woman and the experience felt extremely biased and racist. I tried to remain reasonable & patient hoping she would be helpful. This was after an hour long wait on line. My sister was extremely upset and intervene. I can not believe your establishment hires racist managers who would treat me this way. I returned only 1 hour and a half after purchasing and they did not supply a receipt. I even provided my sister's receipt so they would see the register and time we were there. Never in my life have I been in a line to return items that was as slow and unhelpful as this location. Instead of doing the returns quickly to get to the next customer, the cashier would individually re-tag, hang and walk over to the rack for each individual item that every person was returning and it took FOREVER. Cashiers were slow as molasses. Also the manager was on her tablet the whole time not even looking at customers when they asked her questions. She could have just helped and hung in the items for the cashier to speed things up, but instead just told people to go upstairs to the registers as there was "a much shorter line up there" but not once did I see anyone come down stairs in the 45 minutes I was there to just return items. I like this store, well I like Zara overall. There isn't much to this store it's one of the smaller stores but always has cute stuff and you get a steal whenever there is a sale going on. This is another store I make an effort to stop into when I visit Greenwich. I live in Greenwich and it would be a convenient location , but i choose to shop at Zara in the city whenever i can because the experience here is hideous. This Zara location is by far the worst customer service I have experienced. The manager and sales associates were extremely rude and condescending. I picked up the 'Double-breasted flecked frock coat.' The price tag on the coat was for $49.90. I was told by the first associate that the price tag was wrong and it should be $99.90, however they would honor the price tagged on the coat. A second associate said that since the price tag on the coat does not reflect the coat's reference number, it will not be honored. I was told in the beginning that the price tagged on the coat would be honored and as I get ready to pay, another sales associate (possibly manager) says no and rips the tag off. She said if I want the coat then pay the $99.90 plus tax. It was actually quite an embarrassing ordeal as the line behind me starts to build up. I spoke to customer service the next day who told me that indeed the price tag should have been honored. read more

The gates were locked and I asked a worker why they were closed if it says 8pm.. she laughed at me and said nope. She proceeded to laugh louder and talk about me to a coworker. I was devastated as this not only means cancelling cards, lost work receipts, etc ( but a trip to the DMV.... ) The manager there was so lovely and at 5:00pm I got a phone call that they found my wallet. However, having a trendy Zara-loving Turkish family member, we stopped in today, only to find there was no men's section. Sorry fellas, this store is for women only. I was there today around 10:40 am. While I was browsing on the first floor, I noticed that an older adult, who was also shopping there, fell down to the floor. To my surprise not one of the SA's (who were close by) or the two SA's who were at their register almost in front of where the lady fell did anything to help her. I approached one of the SA's to tell her that maybe she should call 911 to make sure that the person who fell was fine since she took a fall backwards. To my surprise the SA told me that "the lady was fine". This older adult was assisted by the person who was with her at the store but come on!! I am a regular Zara customer online and used to frequent their location across from Bryant Park every week. I love their clothing and a lot of my wardrobe comes from Zara, but this location is not good! It is very small. I went in with a list of items I was planning to buy and asked a sales associate, who was really sweet, if the store had any of the items. She scrolled through my list and looked up at me and said, "sorry, we don't have any of those items in stock right now." I needed some outfits for the weekend so this was really disappointing. I agree with the reviewer who said that they are trying too hard to be upscale at this particular Zara. I unfortunately don't plan on returning to this location. :-( read more

It's Wednesday October 5th, 2016. I'm at Zara store in Greenwich, CT. Waiting 1 hour to pay and collect a purchase. The cashier is super rude and doesn't know how to receive payments ... exchanges, etc. This is the third time I have been in this store and always have had the same cashier who is a disaster. The manager is so inefficient ... she jumps from floor to floor but doesn't do anything at all. Unfortunately this is the closest Zara around or I would stop shopping here. This location is the worst in every aspect of the shopping experience. The staff is so unfriendly, can never get a smile out of them. It's odd that the customer is the one that has to greet the staff. I had an issue with an exchange and the manager was not accommodating at all. The store is also consistently messy and fitting rooms are so dirty. Trust me, if I could shop at a different location I would but this is the closest. I've since started shopping other brands just for the sake of not having to come to this location.
