She could still see, but it was very dark. So, she went to the gatesville clinic and was given drops and scheduled surgery. As soon as she started using the drops, she started getting blank spots and massive floaters in her vision. The Dr was informed and told her that was just the cataract softening and breaking away. The first surgery blinded that eye and then she suddenly developed dry AMD in that eye. Within weeks, she was basically blind in that eye. I have no idea WHY anybody thought it was a good idea to do surgery in the other eye, since she could still see on that one. But, her caretaker at that time insisted that she had to. Any ethical doctor would've refused, given the first results, but NO! he wanted that good Medicare advantage plan money, plus her copay, so he proceeded to blind her other eye. Thanks, man. Good job. !@#! THEN referred her to the Dr in abeline to get the shots in her eyes for the AMD that he caused with his butchering. After discussing this with some friends, I find she's not the first one this happened to. Same doctors, same results, same referral. Ya just gotta wonder why this clinic is still allowed to operate.
