Some of the choices my friends had were the pot roast sandwich, French onion soup, tuna melt and cup of soup with 1/2 sandwich. No complaints from anyone. The restaurant is a little dark inside even with all the overhead lighting. They do have a nice sized patio area in front of the restaurant.

Both got fish fry's, one could have been split to feed 2.(Lg portions) This is the way fish fry's are supposed to be served! All the homemade salads with a piece of rye. Cannot say anything bad about the fish, great dinner at a very reasonable price. Seen wings brought out to another customer and they looked great. We also ordered french onion, bowl $8, cup $6, it was also good, only problem was, just after we got our soups, the dinners came. They should have been held off til we finished the soup. We'll definitely be returning, and if it wasn't for the Seize the Deal cert, we would have never know this place existed.

They have gluten free rolls if you want a sandwich but everything else will have gluten, thus the Cesar salad without the croutons. It's very pricey as well. My side salad and side order of the Boxty potatoes came to $19 before the tax. With tax and tip - $25. You could get other salads without croutons or wheat as well. I really wanted to try the vegetarian shepherds pie but couldn't because the server said there's wheat in the gravy. They have no gluten free beers as far as I could tell and no mocktails. However, after being seated on the patio, we waited about 20 minutes before a server came over. Drinks also took quite a while to arrive. I ordered a brown sugar bourbon cocktail, but it was disappointing--basically just tasted like straight bourbon with little to no flavor. For food, I tried the Reuben poutine appetizer ($20). Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the price. The cheese seemed very processed--hard to even describe, and definitely not what I expected. The fried Reuben itself was just okay, but overall it felt overpriced for what it was. In the end, I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from trying it, but it's not somewhere I'd personally return to. The experience just didn't match the cost or leave much of a positive impression.
