I had brought Hannahbelle along since Deepak is hoping to get a dog at some point in his life. He wanted to practice leash walking and just generally get a dog fix. They hit it off. ;) Not a lot of green space, but some people were playing frisbee in the parking lot. Garbage bins are limited. They have a "bring it in, take it out" philosophy. And please make sure you have baggies to clean up after your dog. They're not supplied. The big draw is being able to walk adjacent to the Merrimack River, as part of the New Hampshire Trail System. It was lovely and calm today, but can be quite dangerous over those big rocks during spring thaw runs. Not unusual that first responders need to rescue people who aren't thinking, or daredevils who underestimate the power of fast moving water. Not all rescues are successful. :( Ample parking, though it is "pay and display", deposit your money at a machine and display the receipt on your car dashboard. Currently $.75/hour with a 10 hour limit, though in other parts of the downtown area, it's only a 2 hour limit. The climbing paths were also labeled with tape which was a little confusing. It was occasionally difficult to identify the correct path for certain climbs. It seems like a great spot for advanced climbers, but definitely not for me.

Had a hard time deciding between 2 and 3 stars in this review. Here are some issues I found with…read morethe place: 1. Routes are not color coded and, instead, use tapes to indicate routes. I understand this is cheaper than having to maintain the large inventory of holds required for colored routes but it is very confusing. 2. The crash pads/mats in the bouldering area can be significantly improved. In some cases they hide the lower footholds from routes, they are not flat and in some regions near where they meet the wall they are quite dirty. 3. The V rating in this gym makes little sense. There are some supposedly hard routes that are very easy and some supposedly trivial routes that should have been more highly rated. However, it was still fun to climb and the lady in the cashier was helpful. Though I would suggest explaining to new comers that there is a lower price for bouldering only day pass. Would also suggest making hand lotion available (moisturizer).

Was looking for a nice late afternoon walk while on vacation. Came across this spot that was around…read more10 minutes from our hotel. Lots of fast food restaurants nearby if you are looking to have a picnic or eat in the park. So many benches you relax on and there is a nice 1 mile walking path around the lake. This park has a lot you can do. Soccer and football areas, play structure, fishing - can even launch a boat, small hikes and a pool. It was so lovely we actually ended up coming back to take some graduation photos. Lovely spot!

I've done…read morea few escape rooms and this may have felt like the most outdated- a lot of locks and paper clues versus hair triggers and techy puzzles, but it was still a good time. The story had us intrigued and there were tons of clues within clues within clues that knocked us down a peg every time we thought we were working through the room too quickly, lol. 7 of us worked our way through and managed to beat the room with about 4 minutes to spare. There was a clue we somehow managed to skip but still have solved and one clue that may not have triggered correctly but the owner had a way of communicating/guiding us from outside the room. This was the first escape room for a few of my coworkers and they're all excited to try more. I think its a great location to maybe ease in first timers.

This place is fabulous! The instructors are very skilled and great at what they do. Juel (the…read moreowner) is very experienced, fun, knowledgeable, and supportive. I cannot believe how much I have learned from her in the few months I have been taking classes there. The environment is friendly for all levels, wether you are a pole expert or never touched one in your life. I was nervous I was going to be intimidated, but was very pleasantly surprised- the atmosphere is so welcoming and positive. The ceilings are high, the studio is always clean and at a comfortable temperature, and we always get a good laugh or two during class. This is a great place to go to learn!

I visited this new studio today for an open level class and it is awesome - 12'+ tall poles (four…read more45's and one 40mm), 2 aerial hoops, hardwood floors, big mirrors, and a pretty exposed brick wall. The best part is that the owner Juel is a great teacher and an amazing gymnast and dancer herself. She is active in the pole dance competition circuit, so she understands and can teach new and advanced tricks and combinations, but at the same time she is very patient and encouraging with beginners, and makes sure that they learn the fundamentals correctly (and on both sides!). The combination of the tall poles and her expert instruction make my hour-long drive from Boston 100% worthwhile.
