Everyone really got along with everyone else. Yeah, the don't have food, but in case you missed it: this is a bowling alley. They have alleys and they have bowling balls, which is the important part. We played candlepin, which was a lot of fun. Our fun was short lived when we were done bowling. It costs $30 an hour for candlepin. After bowling for an hour, we went to the counter to check out. (You can't "stop the clock" yourself at the lane). There are separate counters for the bowling area and arcade area. There was only 1 girl working both counters. I actually didn't see anyone else working in the whole place. That said, we waited approximately 15 minutes for the girl to finish waiting on a family at the arcade counter before coming over to the bowling counter to check us out. We were charged $38.50; $30 for bowling and $8.50 to stand around waiting to cash out!

I can't get it down in DC now where they only have big ball bowling. There are lots of lanes that are well maintained, plenty of space to sit at each lane, and of course the very classic graphics for the scoring screens. There were no issues with the mechanics either. We didn't order food, but it was so easy to get our shoes. There seemed to be a ton of other activities available, including arcade games. We had such a blast!
