The rest of the place is great and wonderfully updated, however we went on a Thursday afternoon, a school day, it was not very crowded, but there was only one person working. We were hoping to get our grandchild a slush after golfing but the service was so slow as there was only one person working everything and we would have had to wait quite a while. All in all if they took care of the golf course it could be 5-stars.

The good: there's a driving range, a putting green, and a sand trap to practice in. The driving…read morerange is affordable ($5 for 30 balls and $8 for 60); the mats are in good shape; and you get plenty of yard markers to gauge your distance and accuracy. The putting green is well maintained and presents an array of challenges, with many uneven surfaces and plenty of holes. There's also plenty of parking and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bad: many of the balls at the range (it seemed like half) are in bad shape. They're old, faded, and many are even warped in shape. There is not a separate chipping green, only the sand trap. All in all a fun place to hang out and work on your game.

The absolute best place to practice your game. They have multiple target greens of various distances, over an enormously wide range area. They offer year round practice with heated booths, to hit off golf mats. $10 for 70 balls which are pretty new and washed each time. My only wish is they allowed for half buckets. They do have a nice putting and chipping green which is usually pretty crowded. They also offer a membership program that allows for access to a special members only practice area allowing 30 buckets a month. But the fee is too rich for me. I wish they offered a discounted weekday or weekend only membership. It is located in the same building as Golf and Ski Warehouse where you can test drive new clubs on the driving range off the back mats. And if you need help with your game, the Seth Dichard Golf School operates from the same location. I should also note that it is adjacent to the 36 hole Green Meadows Golf Course.

I went to World Cup because they have Trackman and figured I could get an accurate average yardage…read moreon every club in my bag. Lately have been coming up short on my approach shots and wanted to take the guess work out of it. So I booked a bay at $8.30 and bought a $20 bucket of balls. The Trackman screen is a pain in the ass to work when changing clubs. Now I know that I avg 250 with my driver but this machine was telling me that I was hitting it 205, so I went down the line with the next 4 clubs. Every club was extremely short so I took 6 of my own balls out of my bag to see if it was their balls or the machine that was giving me a false yardage. The 6 Titleist ProV1 gave me 40-50 yards difference...their balls are JUNK, either they are restricted flight or just crap that have been hit too many times. This effort proved only one thing to me...that it was a total waste of time and money! If you are hitting balls and don't care how far they go or if they nose dive 50yds out then practice at World Cup! But if you want to get accurate yardage and flight and easy transition when changing clubs then practice at KIMBALL'S in Westford Ma!! Sorry but this place is a joke!
