It's a simplistic, more...... clean? Style putt. Has the bumps, turns, nature in your path, but not the frills. Enjoyed our time. Quick and easy. Groups of 5 technically are allowed but we saw groups bigger. With 2 people you can rip thru the course pretty quickly.

Sure, during the day it's charming, families, kids, bright colors, ice cream, obstacle courses arcade games and whatnot. But at night, something shifts. The woods press in close around the course, and it feels like at any moment, a deer could break through the trees and sprint across the green. That sounds funny until you realize how easily someone could get hurt, or worse. Who knows what lingers in these woods. The little ponds scattered through the course, which seem endearing under the sun, but in the dark they suddenly look deep, like someone could slip, fall in, and never come back up. We lingered near the cave on hole 14, and I swear to God there was something wrong inside. It wasn't just dark it felt like something or someone was waiting. My chest got tight when I stepped near it, and I had to back away. My friend started shaking uncontrollably. And then there are the tikimen statues. During the day they're just silly props, but at night? They look disturbed , tilted, cracked, like they've been through something they'll never talk about. But the worst was hole 18. As we lined up for our final shots, I heard it, a whisper. My name. Clear as day, right next to my ear. I spun around, but no one was there. My friends looked pale, they'd heard their names too. We rushed to finish and left in silence. Here's the truth: all these little details, the woods, the ponds, the statues they're harmless in daylight. But at night, Merrimack Valley Pavilion feels haunted. And I don't say that lightly. Go for the ice cream if you want, but leave before dark. And if you do stay late... don't turn around when you hear your name.

Most people left around 3pm but I stayed until 5 with a few co-workers. 3 hours is NOT enough time for 5 activities. Also it was a Thursday and the place was PACKED. We had wristbands so we began our visit with the "grill" option. Lunch includes a drink and a few options from the menu. All the food was pretty average. I probably wouldn't eat here again. Also they are kinda weird about subbing in items. We wanted 3 waters instead of lunch because someone came late. The manager okayed it but it they weren't pleased. After lunch we saw the baby goats!! So cute!! They were by the pony rides. They were only a week old so they had little wobbly legs. Couldn't get enough of them! Then we went to the bumper cars. There was no line so we ended up going twice. The cars all sit on a huge inflated tube and have "spin zone" areas. If other people hit you in the zone then you spin for a bit and then you can go back to hitting people. I thought the cars were fast enough to be fun. The zip line had a super long line. It was also about 1 minute. We waited for about 45 minutes till our turn. Going up is scary because they pull you up backwards in pairs. It's about 100 ft up. Then you soar back down! Fun and definitely great for kids. It's not worth the wait for adults though. Batting cages- no line! Fun and you get 60 hits! You can pick between softball and baseball @ diff speeds. Arcade- we came around 4pm and it was empty!! So awesome. Each "activity" is worth 8 bucks on the wristband. We were leaving after this so we cashed in! Got tons of stuff with our tickets! Ice cream- I thought the cookie dough ice cream was average. It didn't taste really rich like other homemade ice creams I've had. The portion was huge though and the hot fudge was delicious. Good to share 1 between 2 adults. I would come back with friends. It was a little difficult to stay with our company so we all split off. It's easier to do stuff in smaller groups! Also the wristband is worth buying! You can also buy activities a la carte but it's way more expensive (mini golf is 18.50 normally).
