Went here on the road trip back to RI from NH. Fun place for the family. I suggest the pass that allows you todo one of every activity. The 5 star rating is for their homemade ice cream. My first time here but my friend occasionally visited in her childhood/teen years. The fact their ice cream was homemade made this our destination on a warm Friday early evening. The windows were steadily busy but there really wasn't a wait. The young lady who greeted and served us was very sweet. My friend and I decided to share a large half banana walnut and half coffee brownie in a cup topped with a sugar cone. The grounds are clean and welcoming so we sat at some benches under a big umbrella to the right of the building facing the go cart track with my dog. Both ice cream flavors were delicious and very creamy not not too sweet or heavy. The banana flavor was not artificial tasting at all which is usually the case with most banana products and it was chock full of big walnuts. The coffee brownie was also full of fresh brownie pieces and though I could taste a hint of coffee I have had stronger tasting coffee ice creams before. At $5.36 including tax, you can't beat it! we went there today and I will say that they did a really nice job with all the protocols that they put in place everyone was wearing a mask and they had sanitizer all around however not having the bathrooms open and a place that you could spend hours seemed a little silly to me. We got tickets for the bumper boats and that was pretty fun It was very clean they were sanitizing between each one. The go-karts was the same thing except for a lot of people were bumping so that wasn't fun. The ice cream we got my son's both got kiddies was huge. If you're looking for a place to teach your kids that it's okay to break rules the go karts are the perfect ride for you. Added bonus: rude staff who like to argue with customers. The go karts have a no bumping rule- assuming for safety- but a teen bumped me three times on purpose. I got scared and pulled over. They stopped the ride and restarted it without talking to the boy or taking him off. After the ride, I asked if they were going to say anything. I was yelled at! They said they can't make people follow their rules! So I told the boy that he could have hurt me. The staff berated me for talking to the boy! The staff said I shouldn't talk to a kid! Get the fun pass ! It's well worth it. We spent a few hours here on a lovely summer evening. Since we got there early (around 5 PM) there were no lines for the mini golf. We breezed right through and got on the go karts. The batting cage was a bit sketchy, there were too many kids and it was chaotic. People were swinging bats outside of the cage where they shouldnt have been. The bumper cars were really fun, I loved the high energy music, disco lights and the spinning for 4 seconds when you got it. Last but not least, I thought we were going to get a measly small scoop of ice cream included in the package but I was wrong, it was a HUGE "Kiddie" size and lots of options to choose from! this place is fun for kids or even for a date night. read more

You use to get a small ice cream that was bigger than your head. That is 1000 percent what they are famous for. Now for about $6.30 you get a little kiddie cup about the size of a frosty paw for your dog. Workers ,it's usually a bunch of college kids while very friendly, seem more concerned with their written life story on their tip jars than making a proper sized ice cream, but I still tip them a $1 because I am just that guy having work in the service industry, plus... I am willing to bet the animals they have for clients nowadays have never tipped anything in their life besides maybe a canoe. Terrible batting cages. Today we drove 40 minutes to come here, paid for 20 dollars of bad pitches on the batting machines , all of which were eye level or above my 4'6" 8 year old . They would not give us any credit for the bad batting cage tokens , no arcade or go carts credit or even a free ice cream, even though he was depressed and saying he was a bad baseball player. Even my 11yo 5'2" son was getting pitches over his head and all over the plate . It was Dennis's birthday and we were going to have a dinner party. My friend suggested this place as I wanted to get an ice cream cake. I called a few times and got voice mail. I left a message and they called back so I could place the order. They do an option of a half cake (vanilla or chocolate) and half ice cream, however they told me that they do not make the cake there. They come frozen and have been in their freezer since may and that they only had chocolate left. I choose to have 2 layers of just ice cream as I did not want a old freezer burned cake. The woman on the phone I spoke to was not very patient and seemed annoyed at all my questions. She seemed pissed that I had the nerve to ask what flavors they had. I choose half vanilla and half Snickers ice creams and It came with white frosting which tasted like cool whip. The cake was 14" round and was decorated nicely with "Happy Birthday Dennis". I picked up the cake on a Sunday late afternoon. I stood at the outside pickup window for about 10 minutes while hoards of kids ran around me yelling and screaming. Had a lot of fun here on Labor Day. Purchased two "Get It All" passes for half price (normally $17 each) via Boston.com, which entitled us to mini golf, go karts, bumper cars, batting cages, and ice cream. The mini golf course is actually pretty nice, despite the one hole that was flooded from their water hazard... Go karts are your standard go karts, with a little but windy track that's fun to zip around. Again, batting cages are batting cages. Decided to not do the bumper cars as they looked pretty sad, but decided to do some extra rounds in the batting cage ($2/16 balls) instead. Ice cream was tasty and huge. We were bummed that we were only allowed to get the kiddie cup, only to find out that Jay Gee's kiddie size is the equivalent of a medium or large anywhere else... slightly ridiculous. The place is a nice family oriented spot, that offers packages so you can get tokens to do batting cages, bumper cars, and go-karts. Though the ice cream is still the best in the area I am disappointed in jow JG's is handling the Corvid virus policies. There are signs around stating 6 foot distancing but totally lacking on enforcement or mask use. Many employees in the Ice cream building not wearing masks, most of the amusement area staff not wearing them, and the security guard wondering around talking with guests and employees not even attempting 6 foot distancing not wearing a mask. If you are not trying to protect your employees, I have no confidence you are attempting to protect us, your quests. Overall a fun place for the kids. We played mini golf, got ice cream and played at the arcade. A bit pricey for each but relatively cheap 2 hours of entertainment for the kids.
