Went here the other day with my family. We don't need much to have fun. Immediately upon arrival I saw the woman working behind the counter and I knew it was gonna be a rough day. To say she was a giant bitch is an understatement. Asked about batting cages and was shut down immediately. The place is fun but it's like paying golf at a homeless shelter. Everything was run down. My kids and I had a nice time but I wouldn't be back just because I don't feel like dealing with that witch again. Bucs Lagoon in Hampton is 25 times better and better hospitality. If you see a wretched looking old white woman at this place turn around ASAP! read more

Me and my family came here to have fun together. When we first got there the old lady worker was disrespectful and impatient with us. We went to the batting cages and that was good, until we got to the mini golf course. The course is in horrible shape and it's super boring. We also tried to do the go karts as advertised online but it turns out that they are not a thing anymore, whatever that means. Searching for a mini golf course hoping to avoid beach traffic, this place came up. Actually I don't know why I hadn't thought of it . because I drive by often enough... Well anyway a group of us got together this afternoon to play. It was breezy at times, but very hot with no shade to be had. The theme of the course is Pirates .. the course itself was good but run down in some areas. But that in no way stopped us from having fun! The clubhouse is a combo of a few rooms with an arcade and all air confitioned . I will admit that it was so very hot on the course that I wimped out & decided to head into the clubhouse. I explained to the staff that I would like to wait inside while the others in my group finish up... No problem. And at one point a staff member walked over to where I was and ask if I would like some water or soda. Very nice of her. This place has batting cages & I believe gocarts. But I don't know if the gocart section is open. All in all we had a great time. Even though the course has kind of seen better days I would recommend this place. Its a lot of fun! read more

I am miserably bad at mini golf. I'm talking, reeeeaaaalllly bad. But it's still fun for me. Finding this place as we avoided beach traffic on our way home the other Sunday night : magic. The lady who gave us our card and took our entry fee, was nice. The place is pretty well lit, it has moving water throughout, with the exception of one or two holes, where the bugs were obviously congregating. Pirate themed mini golf, interesting. I'm not into pirates, but I can see that it would be popular among the younger sets. Some of the holes looked a bit more tired than others, no real place to 'place' your ball, more of a free for all. We walked back to our car, to find a row of batting cages and a go kart track below the parking lot. Go karts? Hell yeah. I was killin um. Lots of fun. A small track, but faster and better maneuvering karts than the last two places I'd been to with comparable pricing. I shall return, perhaps for glow golf. Definitely for more go karts. read more

I HEART GLOW GOLF. Embarrassing to admit, but I've been here more than once. The course has a pirate/sea theme and on Friday and Saturday nights they have glow golf. It's total cheese and I love it. Hodgies 2 is across the street (just make sure you finish your golf before H2 closes!) Lena's Seafood is next door. It's a whole Salisbury date night within walking distance! (If only somebody had booze...) If you keep your scorecard, one person pays half price on your next visit. Better than nothing and in Salisbury, the land of a million mini golf courses, it is differentiator. There is a new batting cage but haven't tried it out yet. Yeah, I'll see you there. What is wrong with you people!? This is not a nice course at all! Yes the service is very friendly. Yes the course is not a complete dump. BUT did anyone notice that about 13/18 holes are EXACTLY the same with just a different lawn statue? I'd say about 2 holes had a good and difficult curve and 3 holes had a good dip thingy. But the rest were the same exact set up with some sort of lawn ornament like a turtle, dog "digging" or some other creature. Cute, good for kids, in good shape, but from an adult stand point looking for quality mini golf, I've experienced much better. read more

Facilities great - attitude of staff stinks!!! We recently used the crazy golf at Captain's Corner. They prominently advertise a free dinner for a hole in one on the first hole - too my amazement, and that of my family, my 1st shot went straight in the hole!!! On attempting to claim the prize I was told by a very aggressive member of staff this was not the case despite potestations of myself and members of my family (who had clearly seen the shot) no meal was forthcoming. My family were astounded by the attitude of this staff member, we have enjoyed the golf here on many occasions over the past 3 years - I do not care about the meal but I am concerned about the poor example this staff member provided to my children. I suggested if they are going to give away this type of prize cameras should be installed, the comment was totally ignored. I will not use this facility again and I advise others to use more staff friendly facilities elsewhere in Salisbury or Hampton. read more

Although me and my friends had fun playing mini golf and go carting it was ultimately not worth it, half way through our mini golf game (an hour before they close) they turned off most of the lights and shut off the music. We rushed through the rest of the holes figuring they wanted to go home and respecting that. Once we were finished the woman working began to scream at us for "not respecting the course" we apologized to her even though we did nothing wrong, just wanting her to stop yelling. After apologizing multiple times she continued to yell at us and told us to never come back again. After my experience there I never want to go back. Went to Captain's Corner Saturday after a nice lunch at Brown's. My wife and I came with our two children and spent $56 to play a round of mini golf, one go kart race, 10 batting tokens, 24 arcade tokens, and one ice cream for the kids. They gave us a lanyard to keep the golf score and two cards for the children's activities that we paid for. We began the experience golfing on a course that was completely run down with waterless fountains, weeds, and 100 year old turn that was torn up. We made the best of it as a family and laughed about it. Next was the go carts. We went to a booth where a witchy woman told us that only one of the boys could drive the cart (why they didn't tell us that when we paid is beyond me) and doubted the fact that we had already paid for all of the activities. We told the witchy woman that one of the boys' cards had probably fallen off the lanyard and she repeatedly kept blaming us and doubting that we had already paid. She then proceeded to call the "front desk" and describe us to someone on the phone to ensure that we had paid. Long story short but the woman was really rude and we almost said screw it and left but I convinced my wife to stay and finish our activities. The go karts were ok and the batting cages were throwing the balls all over the place very high to the point that my kids couldn't even reach the slow pitch baseball. Arcades were a joke and the ice cream was down the street far enough that we decided to drive there. I will never come again and will give my business to Cedarland in Haverhill where the staff is friendly and helpful and the establishment is clean and maintained. I hope this review will deter people from wasting their money. read more

Seemed a bit run down, holes very easy all seemed to be the same or close to it. Water wasn't running through entire course, like part of it had been broken down. Just terribly run down and neglected. This place gets 2 stars because the friendly summer help, but that is the only reason. To start: The place is dirty. The turf on the holes is pulling up, wrinkled in sections, ripped in others. The fencing is falling down in numerous spots. The obstacles on the individual hoes are cheap plastic Halloween decorations that you can get at any KMART store. Most are not even bolted down, just randomly placed on the middle of the green. The streams for the water feature haven't been painted in years. Only half of the pools and streams are even in use anymore. Someone has clearly neglected maintaining the grounds and course and is milking people to play golf on this dump. If I worked here I would embarrassed charging people to play here. read more

Not kid friendly! Went there with my five children and 6 nieces and nephews. We did the go karts and were in the batting cages. There was a game stand with a bucket with rubber duckies in it. My 3 year old grabbed a rubber duck and this old guy that worked there grabbed his hand and yelled at him. I mean come on he's 3 for crying out loud. Who does that? Don't ever touch my kid!! He was so scared and cried for a half hour because of this scary man. No apologies, what awful people. We will never ever go back there again! You shouldn't either. read more

Not sure why anyone would rate this place 4 or 5 stars? It may claim to be pirate themed but I believe that was when it was most likely new 30 years ago. At least half of the water in the course does not work and they filled it in with rock. When you get to about the 7th hole the gnats will carry you away. They did paint the pavement and had new carpet on the holes. read more

Women were really nice that ran it, but disappointed that the water wasn't in the pools/waterways on the course. The other thing that bothered me was the music playing on the speakers. The "F" word and the "N" word in one of the songs while I'm playing mini golf with my 4 yr old in the middle of the day. read more

The golf course isn't the most challenging (no real obstacles, not much variety)... but then again, this is aimed at children, not myself. Kinda funny. Went there with family last weekend. Glow golf. It's 9 pm and the first hole says if you get a "Hole in One" you win a free meal at Lena's. My kids and wife went, then I and wow, I got a hole in one. Well a young kid came out after I inquired at the window and said "Oh that doesn't count on the first hole", Then "It doesn't count at night" She went in and got a piece of paper and covered up the sign. My family and I were in Utter dis-belief. Almost comical. Anyways, I was the butt of a few jokes for the rest of the night. Course could use some TLC, Kids working there could be more professional. read more
