    World's longest hole!
    Jamie B.

Chuckster's made for a great mini golfing detour on our recent road trip up to the White Mountains. We came on a Thursday afternoon right when they opened (3 PM), so the place was completely dead (I think we were literally the only patrons there the whole time!). This meant no waiting, and we got to enjoy the course at our own pace. The greens were well-maintained (not flawless, but good enough to not be annoying), and the holes were just the right degree of challenging (a few multi-layer holes, and few fun touches like the "world's longest hole" for hole 13). One of the staff members was doing some landscaping work while we were there, so it was great to see that they were continuing to put effort into the upkeep of the area. We were most impressed though by how many other activities this place had. While we were just there for the mini golf, there was everything from go-karts to a rock climbing wall to a ropes course to batting cages... I can see kids going absolutely bananas for this place. They offer combo passes that let you try 2, 4, or 6 attractions, which seemed like the best bang for your buck if you're looking to spend an afternoon here. FYI, they have a $1 off Yelp check-in offer (at least at the moment), so that was a nice little bonus.

Chuckster's Family Entertainment Center is a lot of fun for the entire family (and groups of friends too), located east of Concord on Routes 4-202-9 in Chichester. My coworkers and their kids love this place! Chuckster's offers 18 holes of miniature golf, batting cages, go-karts, rock climbing wall, jumpsters, and a snack bar offering hot dogs, chips, cold drinks, and 30 flavors of Blake's Ice Cream including Chuckster Chunk and my favorite, Upchuck (green ice cream with cake & M&Ms) made exclusively for Chuckster's and you can't get those flavors anywhere else. The prices here are pretty reasonable, each attraction can be purchased individually and package deals are also offered. Discount coupons are also available in back of Shaw's receipts and Chuckster's brochures. I recently played on this stunning miniature golf course which is not gimmicky and takes advantage of the beautiful landscaping with boulders, rocks, and water. The miniature golf course is a bit challenging since it was built on the side of a hill on a graded slope, the holes are 2-3 par. There are also mock sandtraps and roughs too! Placing the golf ball right at the starting flag can be tricky, since the ball tends to roll on the slope. I did lose my ball at one of the holes, which just vanished into thin air, so I had to go back up to the counter, where could grab another ball. Hole 13 is proclaimed as "the WORLD'S LONGEST Mini Golf Hole," traversing down a fairly long and windy slope, where I amazingly got a hole-in-one, feeling like Tiger Woods during his glory years for a brief moment. It took a while to finish this course since several large groups (no more than 5 people each), young and very old were ahead of me. My company is already planning to have a Chuckster's outing after work in the near future. My recent visit to the miniature golf course was a dry run. Bring it on!

My girlfriend demanded a mini-golf outing to break up the monotony of hanging out at my parents' house on Bow Lake with perfect weather. Despite my skepticism that this would be a more fun activity, Chuckster's was a pleasant surprise. The course was fun, challenging, not too crowded and reasonably priced. The beef jerky ice cream was good too, and surprisingly affordable. We didn't try the ropes course or climbing wall, but they looked like fun. We'll definitely come back next time we're up here.

Great place, however, if your child is under 40" tall, they can't participate in any of the activities except mini golf.

They seem to have everything one would want for a day of outdoor fun with the kids. My daughter had a blast.

Fun place! Gets kinda old after going there several times but I still like it. The longest hole is kinda a crock of crap tho.

It's fun for the kids. But very expensive. Nice clean facilities and friendly staff. Just wish the prices were lower.

Super easy to get tokens too ($20 gets you 110, which lasts a while since old-school games are just 1 token and newer ones run 2-4). I had a great time on Burgertime and pinball--though I wish they had the Addams Family, Millionaire was still a fun one. Beyond the arcade, they've got indoor mini golf, bowling, and even a tavern, so there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike. This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back. Pro tip: make sure to head across the street to 603 Sweets after--perfect way to end the day.

We visited Funspot on a Saturday and was expecting a massive crowd. Even though the parking lot was pretty full, we were pleasantly surprised at how huge the place was, so the crowd was spread throughout the facility and we didn't really have to wait to play any games. This place is 3 stories and it's easy to get lost. But there's something for everyone: a huge selection of playable classics and pinball machines (which doubles as a museum), candlepin and regular bowling, indoor mini golf, a silly little bumper car area for the younger kids, plenty of newer digital arcade games, shooters, etc, skeeball, slot machines, a tavern, a snack bar, a party room, and so much more. What I want to really highlight here is the affordability: it took 4 of us 2 hours to spend our first $20. That's crazy! We could never get away with that at any arcade I've been to lately. A lot of the games, especially the classics, only take one or two tokens, and you get 110 tokens per $20. They give out those classic paper tickets which is a slight inconvenience but worth it for the nostalgia factor. The snack bar has everything you need - pizza, hot dogs, soda, nachos, etc - even fresh fruit, which was awesome! And it's all totally affordable. Also - it's completely free to rent a party table here which, again, is unheard of! What else? Tons of parking. Easily accessible. Free lockers for your stuff. Bowling deals on weekdays and Sundays. Tons of token and ticket machines throughout, on every level. Cash bingo I think? Friendly and helpful staff. Sooooo much history, like a museum that you can play in. Yes, this place is old... That's the point! You can spend all day here without breaking the bank, and come out with a smile on your face and a new appreciation for classic arcades. Take the drive! Bring the kids! Get your button mashing on!
