It's a fun place with nice things to keep Older kids and adult kids entertained. But the thing I always find most amazing is that the staff is always so warm and thorough. Whoever trains them does a terrific job, either that or they are just genuinely invested in the place. We visited on a Wednesday on one of the hottest days of the summer. You would think the staff would be salty and distracted. Everyone was extremely nice and through about the information they needed to convey. Be early to the zip line. Don't hold metal. Oh the slide is hot let me cool it down. Oh your sprayer is broken, jump in this boat. Without exception everyone went above and beyond. I managed to grab a few names. Ample covered space, a challenging and well designed course, and some of the most customer driven staff ever. The 18th hole is one that requires a bit of skill, and one that will have anyone laughing hysterically seeing the ball going in different places. Nice mini course, well kept, i remember when they first put it in a little while ago. Good for 18 holes, all the holes are interactive, not like some other places when you get tired of playing after 12. Also they have batting cages and go carts , little pricey but probably the bet overall combination of fun in the area, didn't get a chance to try the ice cream this time but maybe next time. Family fun! Excellent 18-hole mini golf course (home to the world's longest hole of 200ft.)! We also did the go-kart experience (SO MUCH FUN!) There's also a bungee-jump-experience, basketball, an adventure course, zip lining, a rock wall, and more. There's an ice cream shop on the premises with a dairy-free raspberry sorbet available. This is a great place to do outdoor activities and maintain social distance. Hand sanitizer was available everywhere. read more

Chuckster's made for a great mini golfing detour on our recent road trip up to the White Mountains. We came on a Thursday afternoon right when they opened (3 PM), so the place was completely dead (I think we were literally the only patrons there the whole time!). This meant no waiting, and we got to enjoy the course at our own pace. The greens were well-maintained (not flawless, but good enough to not be annoying), and the holes were just the right degree of challenging (a few multi-layer holes, and few fun touches like the "world's longest hole" for hole 13). One of the staff members was doing some landscaping work while we were there, so it was great to see that they were continuing to put effort into the upkeep of the area. We were most impressed though by how many other activities this place had. While we were just there for the mini golf, there was everything from go-karts to a rock climbing wall to a ropes course to batting cages... I can see kids going absolutely bananas for this place. They offer combo passes that let you try 2, 4, or 6 attractions, which seemed like the best bang for your buck if you're looking to spend an afternoon here. FYI, they have a $1 off Yelp check-in offer (at least at the moment), so that was a nice little bonus. read more

Chuckster's Family Entertainment Center is a lot of fun for the entire family (and groups of friends too), located east of Concord on Routes 4-202-9 in Chichester. My coworkers and their kids love this place! Chuckster's offers 18 holes of miniature golf, batting cages, go-karts, rock climbing wall, jumpsters, and a snack bar offering hot dogs, chips, cold drinks, and 30 flavors of Blake's Ice Cream including Chuckster Chunk and my favorite, Upchuck (green ice cream with cake & M&Ms) made exclusively for Chuckster's and you can't get those flavors anywhere else. The prices here are pretty reasonable, each attraction can be purchased individually and package deals are also offered. Discount coupons are also available in back of Shaw's receipts and Chuckster's brochures. I recently played on this stunning miniature golf course which is not gimmicky and takes advantage of the beautiful landscaping with boulders, rocks, and water. The miniature golf course is a bit challenging since it was built on the side of a hill on a graded slope, the holes are 2-3 par. There are also mock sandtraps and roughs too! Placing the golf ball right at the starting flag can be tricky, since the ball tends to roll on the slope. I did lose my ball at one of the holes, which just vanished into thin air, so I had to go back up to the counter, where could grab another ball. Hole 13 is proclaimed as "the WORLD'S LONGEST Mini Golf Hole," traversing down a fairly long and windy slope,where I amazingly got a hole-in-one, feeling like Tiger Woods during his glory years for a brief moment. It took a while to finish this course since several large groups (no more than 5 people each), young and very old were ahead of me. My company is already planning to have a Chuckster's outing after work in the near future. My recent visit to the miniature golf course was a dry run. Bring it on! read more

My boyfriend and I have visited here a number of times and we always play the mini-golf. It's a fun course and can be challenging at times. The website offers a $1 off coupon for a round of golf (also available in pamphlets at grocery stores). The ice cream is also really tasty. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun time. Depending on the weather, larger groups can be playing. Expect to wait as they will take a lot of time playing. The course also offers the world's longest hole. There are an array of other activities available for the whole family, including batting cages and go-karts. EDIT (05/10/2016): Tried the Woodchuck Jerky ice cream and I would not repurchase. We brought our son and a friend to Chuckster's for his birthday today. We had never been before and found it to be very clean, nicely set up and friendly staff. There were a few camps there today, but it didn't feel overly crowded. We enjoyed the picnic tables with umbrellas to sit while the kids played. My girlfriend demanded a mini-golf outing to break up the monotony of hanging out at my parents' house on Bow Lake with perfect weather. Despite my skepticism that this would be a more fun activity, Chuckster's was a pleasant surprise. The course was fun, challenging, not too crowded and reasonably priced. The beef jerky ice cream was good too, and surprisingly affordable. We didn't try the ropes course or climbing wall, but they looked like fun. My name is Kevin, and there's really no other type of review to give a place where you have your life threatened and not only does no one do anything about it, but instead they go and do everything in their power to make sure that the incident disappears goes up in a puff of smoke no record of it, like it never even happened that's why I'm writing this review to make sure that that's exactly what doesn't happen, and thanks to the staff there, even though this incident requires much bigger consequences than this, thanks to their handling of the situation, or lack thereof, this is the only useful tool that I have at my disposal. See what happened is that, this past Saturday August 27, 2022, today is Monday, for those of you who don't know, Chucksters, among other things, has go-karts, and what happened is that, during one of my races there on that track on that day, I was racing along with a bunch of other people, with like, 8 other karts full of people on the track, which is just about the maximum number of karts they allow onto the track at any one given time due to the fact that it just gets too crowded to be practical after that due to the size of the track, as if 9 karts isn't crowded enough as it is, and so what was going on at one point in the race is that I was directly side by side with these two little girls that were sisters and they were in another kart, and their dad was racing with us in another kart too, and he was just behind us, not including all the other karts that were on the track at the time, and between me and the kart the girls were in, I was the one on the inside, and neither one of us had so much as an inch advantage on the other one, we were perfectly side by side, and what happened is that we came up to this point on the track where I ran out of room on the inside between me, the girls kart, and the guardrail, and due to their inexperience, they didn't realize that they had to give me more room in order for me to not crash, and since we were perfectly side by side, I had no obligation whatsoever to brake and let them go and avoid crashing, so I wasn't about to do this since this was a go-kart race, not a Sunday stroll, in fact, Sunday strolls are against the rules because, of course, anyone going that slow is making it dangerous out there for those that actually are racing, and of course another rule that they have is that there is no bumping, so that eliminates the possibility of me bumping them over a little bit to give me the space on the inside that I need in order to not crash into the guardrails, besides, it doesn't matter because the go-karts are too even for me to be able to move them over like that, I know I've tried that before, I also knew that once I crashed into the guardrails what was going to happen next is that it was going to cause me to ricochet into the girls, so I thought that that was what was going to happen, and that's what did happen, but what also happened is that my deflection off of the guardrail and into them caused them to head straight into the guardrail with no chance of avoiding it so they hit it head on, and full force, while I veered to the left to avoid hitting them from behind while I went around them, now, the girls hit the guardrail so hard, that one of them was wearing sunglasses pulled up on her head, and they went flying off forward and they cleared the entire front of the kart, so of course they are pretty shaken up and they're crying, etc. and there's no reverse of the karts that the riders and drivers of the karts can access, so the employees have to stop the race so that they can go and get the girls unstuck from the guardrails, so the moment that they do this, the dad gets up and out of his kart walks forward to me because remember he was just behind me and his girls on the track when this happened, and he starts yelling at me, "you intentionally hit them and you didn't have to do that, I was right behind you, I saw the whole thing, why did you do that? f*** you!" despite the fact that I just told you, I didn't intentionally hit them, it wasn't unnecessary, there wasn't anything I could've, or should've done in order to avoid it, the crash was caused by his girls incompetence to recognize what was going to happen, so, I immediately yelled back, "I didn't do anything!" to which he then responds, "Liar!, stop lying!, I was right behind you! I saw the whole thing!, I'm going to take your head and shove it into the pavement! and then I'm going to beat the s*** out of you!", despite the fact that I just told you guys that I didn't do it intentionally, I didn't do it at all, let alone lie about it, and even if I did, of course, the punishment that he was prescribing for me is not the correct punishment within Chuckster's policies, so, I responded, "get this through your head, I didn't do anything!", in, which, during this back and forth yelling match between me and him, I have since gotten up from my kart too, but I'm still standing in... read more

Went today for the 1st time. Never will go back. Staff claimed go charts and mini golf were all that was open as it was a holiday and they had lil staff. There was only 3 family there's. Go charts were extremely slow and we went for the zip line and 2 other tree adventures, but weren't allowed to. Nice, family-friendly spot with lots to do. We just did the mini-golf course which was fun. It was one of the first warm, sunny weekends so it got pretty busy. Plus we had a group of five little girls in front of us whose mom wouldn't let us play ahead. So it took us a lot longer than normal to finish 18 holes. It was a beautiful day though and there are benches to sit along the course so we still enjoyed ourselves. The facility was very clean. Besides golf, there are batting cages, bumper cars, basketball challenges, rock climbing & bungee bouncing. Plus food & ice cream. All the employees were friendly. We only grabbed pretzels to go which were standard freezer fair. Probably should have tried ice cream. read more

Chuckster's was great! The staff was A++. I realized about 6 holes into our mini golf game that I "lost" my wallet and was in a panic. They were all so gracious to me and tried to be so helpful. After scouring for a bit and cutting our game short, I found it in my car:) Then the fun continued with some Jumpster, water balloons, and another super fun competitive game. As far as a novelty sports area- this place has it all and it is clean, well priced and full of fun stuff: go carts, rock climbing, mini golf and ice cream. "The Worlds Longest Mini Golf Hole!" The mini golf course is fun, but they could definitely use some ridges at the end of some holes to keep the ball from rolling off into the next green. This happened to us multiple times. All in all, I think the mini golf course is fun and worth the money - especially if you get a Groupon deal, which I did. The go-carts are just okay, but be forewarned that they are very strict about the height limits. Even though the two 10 year-old boys I had with me were capable of driving their own carts, one of them was a hair shy of the height limit, so he was not allowed to drive in a cart himself. He was very upset and it nearly ruined our entire day. He was less than an inch below the line. While the go-carts were disappointing, the reason I'm giving this place such a low rating is because the food was absolutely inedible. I ordered the kids lunch - two hot dog meals with chips, a mini cheese pizza, and an order of chicken strips with fries. The kids refused to eat anything but the chips and pizza. The hot dogs were luke warm and had a cheap taste to them, and the fries tasted like the oil in the fry machine had never, ever been changed. Absolutely disgusting. We did not stay for ice cream, but I'm sure that's fine since it's Blake's brand. My advice would be to just go for the mini golf and ice cream, but whatever you do, don't order food! read more

I visited the batting cages two weeks ago, while the shoveled snow was still melting in a shady corner of the property. The very-fast cage was properly set and enjoyable, and when the feeding mechanism jammed briefly, Mark, the manager/owner, immediately fixed the problem and gave me two complimentary tokens. Chuckster's has a number of picnic tables, both covered and uncovered; even early in the season, the snack shack was hopping and well-staffed. Chuckster's other offerings -- mini golf, jumping area and climbing wall among them -- are somehow in a confined space that doesn't seem cramped. Go-karts are a short walk away, and safety -- height requirements, for example -- is a priority. There are plenty of benches for anyone needing a rest throughout the grounds. Batting cage prices for 15 pitches were identical to Legends in Hooksett -- $1.50/1, $5/4, $10/9 and $20/20 -- and the very-fast speed was what you'd expect. I'll return. read more

We went here with high hopes to have a great family fun day. It was drizzling a little bit earlier but the rain stopped by the opening time of noon on Sunday. We went to the ticket counter and ordered the any 4 attractions for $19 each for two of us, I was just watching. She specifically asked us which attractions we were going to do. We chose Chuckcycles, Aeroball, Shoot Four and Light Frenzy (we originally wanted to do go karts but the little one wasn't at least 58" inches tall, major disappointment #1). So we head over to the go kart speedway for the Chuckcycles, we walk all the way over and nobody is working over there. We look around and wonder what to do for about five minutes or so when someone finally comes walking over. He proceeds to tell us that the Chuckcycles are no good in this weather, the ticket girl could've told us that, so now no go karts and no Chuckcycles, so we move on to the Aeroball area. We get down there, passing employees on the way who said hi, and lo and behold there is nobody down there either. This time we stand around for a good while, because all 3 of our remaining attractions are right there together. The problem now? Well let's start with Shoot Four, it's an inflatable game, laying flat on the ground covered in a tarp, doesn't look good for playing that... Light Frenzy, same thing. Aeroball, now that's set up, but it's soaking wet and you have to crawl through a tiny hole to get in and you have to take your shoes off, so that's just a wet mess at this point... After we wait around endlessly and can see employees 150 ft away, we decide to go ask someone, them finally they turn our way and start coming over. She says "oh we haven't had time to set these up yet", I'm thinking seriously, you open at noon, maybe you guys should come to work a little earlier as it's now 12:30 and you're not even set up. So they inflate the Shoot Four, they play, it's kind of a disappointing "attraction" the balls get stuck and there's no rules or anything, it's whatever. So... Light Frenzy never got set up so that's out (again, doesn't the ticket girl know which attractions will be open or usable when wet??), they decided against the wet Aeroball, and now we still had 3 attractions to do and there was nothing else the little one was interested in doing. So we went back to the counter and said we decided to do miniature golf instead and it rained on us pretty good by the end, I do feel like we should have gotten some of our money back, we left with two attractions remaining, the whole trip was kind of a bust in my mind, we did one attraction we wanted to do. Some of the attractions are just ridiculous, the Webster slide... Really? It's in the parking lot. It was soaking wet, but he would've done it if only someone would've been working at it. Went here for the first time with my 5 yr old son after puchasing a "5 Go-Kart ride" pack from LivingSocial. Got there around 2:30pm on a Sunday and it was not very crowded (it has been raining most of the weekend, but stayed dry during our visit). There were a few birthday parties happening, but the mini golf course was pretty vacant. The course was very cool! Some very interesting holes and great water features. There are streams that flow through the course that several of the holes utilize. (Yes, you can actually hit your ball into the stream and it makes its way to the hole!) The only thing that was kinda puzzling was that a few water features (like "little ponds") require the use of a net to get your ball out. (The nets are stationed at each one). However, my son purposefully put his ball into several of these just to use the net... so I guess it has its appeal to the younger kids! The "longest hole" was really neat. I asked the owner if he ever considered having it "Guinness verified" and he said he visited that a few years ago but Guinness wasn't really interested. His research on the web has shown that the 209 feet is about 20 feet longer than his next competitor. Only concern for the course was that the turf surfaces are getting a little worn, with some "tee boxes" having severe divots and most of the hole areas are well flattened. This made the "final shot" feel like you were putting on concrete on many holes. Owner says he plans to do turf repairs in the Fall. I managed to get about 4 hole in ones, but I realized that several of the holes are slightly countersunk.... which makes it a little easier to do. FYI, mini golf is $9/pp (5 yrs old and under is $5). Go-Karts were very cool. They are electric, so no fumes. However, this means that they slowly lose power over the course of the ride (with a noticeable drop after the first 2 laps or so). They were still fast enough to keep my son satisfied. They only allow 6-8 karts out into the field at once. We happened to head over there around the same time as the birthday party so we had to wait a good 30 mins before we got to go on. I would say they let you go for a good 15-20 laps before you are directed back to the pit. You need to be 40" to ride as a passenger, and 58" to ride alone (and 18+ if you take a passenger). We ended up doing 3 rides. Chucksters serves Blakes ice cream. We got a kiddie cup (3 scoops) for $2.75 and shared it. There is also batting cages, climbing wall, and a jump thing... but we didn't try those this time. We will definitely be back to use our last 2 Go-Kart rides and check out the other activities! read more

My wife, son and I have played four or five mini golf courses around NH this summer, and Chuckster's was by far the best. We went on a Saturday afternoon and while we had to wait on about half of the holes it wasn't overly crowded. I will say that the first hole looked backed up by the time we were done though as it looked like three or four groups were waiting to go, so maybe we just timed it well. The course itself is great. There is a wide variety of obstacles (all natural type stuff involving inclines, declines, rocks, water, etc...no windmills at this course!). We were very impressed with the shape of the course as well. It was well landscaped and maintained. There was only one hole were there was a rip in the putting surface and it wasn't that big of a deal. I would recommend this course over Pirates Cove in Laconia, Mel's Funway in Litchfield and Legends in Hooksett any day! We also did the batting cages, jump swing and go-karts. I have to say the go-karts were great. Rather new and actually electric rather than gas powered, so it is much cleaner and less noisy than your typical go-kart racing track. An electronic scoreboard keeps tack of each racer's lap time and then displays the times at the end of the race....definitely a nice touch! Oh and unlike some go-kart racing places you can actually..you know..race...meaning you are allowed to pass other racers. Overall this place is a 5 out of 5 for us and we will definitely be returning based upon how much fun our five year old had. read more

My husband and I love Chucksters! We play mini golf almost every week during the spring/summer/fall months and have been to just about every MG course in New England. This place has become our absolute favorite. We went to their newest location in Hooksett and had a blast, and the grounds were beautiful! We started playing at 7:15...closing time was 8. Maybe management/ownership should change the hours if they are so rushed to shut down and leave the premises by 8:10. We play very fast- even with a little one- and we we were returning from a two day trip from the mts. post-Labor Day and had to get her to bed. Yet as we are finishing up, the bathrooms are already locked, the concession stand closes- which I understand- but no one was even to be found to return the clubs and balls (note, beforehand when we arrived, it took several minutes to find if anyone was even inside to pay and get our clubs). Pitch black, with most of the venue's lights already shut off, my daughter runs over to climb on one of the fake animals in the sandbox for two seconds before I'm simply going to carry her off to the car- "we're closed", a voice says in the dark distance. Two groups were behind us. To boot her pants are soaked due to an apparent puddle you couldn't see in the dark on the seat- hadn't rained in the past 48 hrs in NH. Can't maintain your own facility any better? The greens too were littered with leaves and sticks. I would strongly disagree with some other reviews here that state how challenging the course is. The "longest hole" is a joke- tap the ball down a hill and follow it, hoping 90% the way down it doesn't land in a water trap- prototype example of greens here that are based more on luck than any sort of skill- hitting the balls out-of-bounds should at least in large part be based on your skill- some areas it slowly rolls out of bounds over ridges set too low where it isn't intended to go out of play due to poor construction/maintenance. So in one sense, yes it is challenging, but very little from the standpoint of how skillful a player you are. Next time before we leave Lincoln if it is for mini-golf, we'll stick to Pirates Cove up there- far superior course, legitimately challenging, and where your treated with some kind of respect....to boot, the price is way less with a little one. Being all but kicked out with the lights turned off and the restrooms shut down (the two remaining workers drove off before we even had out little one strapped in!) was the clincher. read more

This place is a nice place to go to with the kids as they have many things to do. If you like mini-golf this place has a fun course to play, if you like batting cages they have many at different speeds to try as well. I don't know if the pitching machines are set for toddlers but they pitch low all the time and mostly balls (not strikes) when my teenage son tried it out this year, something that didn't happen a few years go when we used them. They have go-carts as well that are kind of fun to use as well, but on the two races that we were in, there were two cars in each "race" that failed or that ran VERY slow... something that really sucks since they don't let you drive another race or refund your money. They have other things like some sort of trampoline/basketball contraption, but it was out of order when we were there, so I have no idea what that does. In my opinion I think that they need to repair some things and get the place back to the condition it was back when it opened, because it isn't worth it the way it is now. read more
