Whoever trains them does a terrific job, either that or they are just genuinely invested in the place. We visited on a Wednesday on one of the hottest days of the summer. You would think the staff would be salty and distracted. Everyone was extremely nice and through about the information they needed to convey. Be early to the zip line. Don't hold metal. Oh the slide is hot let me cool it down. Oh your sprayer is broken, jump in this boat. Without exception everyone went above and beyond. I managed to grab a few names. There were many teams with their fun team shirts and lots of awards being handed out. Though busy, we didn't have to wait at all to order and get our ice creams. They had a variety of flavors. Their cones come on two sizes. I got the one scoop and it was huge. I wouldn't have been able to finish a 2 scoop in one sitting. We also walked around the welcome center, which gave visitors a chance to learn the history behind Grammy Rose's dog rescue. There were some puppies in a fenced in area but none to meet in person. They had just brought some dogs up from down south and they were in quarantine for a bit. The parking area is newly tarred. There are picnic tables and there is a bathroom in the welcome center. Guessing there must be other restrooms available when the center is closed but mini golf and ice cream open. Nice to support a place that provides homes for unwanted dogs.

The ice cream shop has so many flavors, and cone options (see picture) There is a lot of seating, with umbrellas for shade. The mini golf course is an 18 hole course with a mix of challenging and easier holes. The theme is dogs, and many of the dog statues talk and say silly things. It is very cute. The dog statues are not animatronic...nothing creepy here, all cuteness. My family and I play mini golf a lot. This place is one of the nicest, cleanest and cutest mini golf places in Maine. And, the fact that all proceeds benefit the dog rescue is an added bonus. There is very nice landscaping with many flowers around the mini golf course. The trees are not yet mature enough to provide shade, so definitely bring a hat if you go on a sunny day. At the end of course there is a case that shows pictures and profiles of dogs that are available for adoption at Grammy Rose Dog Rescue and Sanctuary. There is a very nice visitor/welcome center in the buildings across from ice cream shop. They have lots of pet related items for sale, gifts, and it looks like this is where the administrative team works. I highly recommend the ice cream and the mini golf course.

This small ice cream shop is on a farm and they use their own milk to make their ice creams. There a variety of outdoor seating options such as Adirondack chairs, a swinging bench and picnic tables. There's also a play ground and a goat feeding area. The service was friendly. For scoops, you can get a cone (they only offer waffle cones that they make in house for $1), waffle bowl or a dish. They also offer shakes, sundaes and floats. The prices are kind of high; $9 for three scoops and $1 for a cone plus tax. But, the ice cream is really creamy, flavorful and loaded with chunks, which I like. My friend got a pistachio ice cream and it was LOADED with CRUNCHY salted pistachios... I've never had an ice cream in which the pistachios were crunchy! I wished I had ordered that after I saw hers come out. I got three scoops: campfire delight (s'mores), mocha chip and peanut butter Oreo. I wanted to get the blueberry crumble, but it sold out two customers ahead of me. The campfire delight had a bunch of mini marshmallows and decent size chocolate chunks. The mocha chip had a good coffee chocolate flavor and a nice amount of large chocolate chunks, not merely chips. The peanut butter Oreo had a rich peanut butter flavor. The setting was also great to relax & enjoy our frozen delights! If I lived there it would be a special occasion treat because of the price; since I visit NH about once a year, I will go to Milltuck every time!

The ice cream prices before tax (in 2021) seem fair including 1 scoop (minnow) $3.00, 2 scoops (small mouth bass) $4.50, and 3 scoops (large mouth bass) $5.50. The ice cream nachos (3 scoops with all toppings and crumbled waffle cone) is $7.00. I got a Root Beer Float ($5 plus $0.45 tax) here recently which had vanilla ice cream with Barq's Root Beer, a good refreshing standby on a hot day and minimal mess.

My only complaint is that the range is pretty close to the first hole and you will find 3-4 dozen range balls all over the 1st hole.

It included admission, rentals, discounts on paintballs, admission to special events, and 3 bring a friend passes. It paid for itself last year. We used the passes to put together a very affordable birthday party for him with friends as walk-ons. I think all the kids are now hooked. The staff is really enthusiastic and extremely focused on SAFETY (which makes my mom heart happy) and experience. All day, they were making sure they were having a fun time. The community of players is exceptional. My son often goes alone as a walk on and is always included and bonding. Today, the kids had a rough run in one instance and got out pretty quickly. After, their adult opponents coached them on how to do better next time. The food at the Bunker is actually really delicious! It takes a bit to order when it's lunch time but you can play while waiting. The kids liked the break though. I loved my chicken totchos. They also had things like tenders, rice bowls, sandwiches, burgers etc.
