Love this place! Great neighborhood old school vibe. Classic candle pin bowling. Good pizza friendly, helpful laid back staff.

I've been coming to this place since I was pretty much 3 years old. It's a bowling center that I…read moregrew up in and made some great memories, some which I remember like it was yesterday. That being said, this place certainly has changed A LOT over the years. From the GIANT arcade, to new lane surfaces, it really feels like a new bowling center in general. I like coming to this place since it's a challenge to bowl here, but I also like the arcade that it has as well. They keep all their machines very clean and maintain the lanes really well in general. HOWEVER, one big reason why I don't really go to this place as much as I used to is......their PRICES!!!! I know that most centers usually charge the same amount that Leo's does ($4 a game I believe and nearly $2 for shoe rental), but nearly every other center I've ever been to has a special when it comes to getting discounted bowling. This place doesn't offer that (not that I know of anyway) So when you're going here to bowl, expect to at least pay $20+ if you're bowling more than a couple of games. Overall though, I've always liked Leo's and I do recommend it to people if money isn't really a big issue.

Considering the far more affordable lanes in the area I'm confused why they would bother having any…read morelanes here at all, especially at a 100% markup. Was very hopeful about this place until I saw their proud pricing and dead parking lot. Will stick with the older lanes we have around, no need for this over-modernized and over-priced place.

I've been coming to this bowling alley regularly for roughly the last 5 years. I've been an avid…read moreten pin bowler, and have seen several places come and go, but this one hasn't changed. The atmosphere, the food, and the center itself make it one of my favorite places to go to when I feel like I wanna do something, even if it means taking a 30 minute drive to get here. The thing I like best about this place is the fact that they have A LOT of specials for people to save money when bowling. Whether it be the dollar nights on Fridays, the Quarter mania nights on Sundays, or even the industry night on Mondays, it gives people a chance to save money, which a lot of bowling centers don't really do these days. I also like the fact that since I'm a league bowler there, I get perks such as discounts for the pro shop and $2 games whenever. The food itself is also VERY good. From cheeseburgers to Pizza, and even to their AWESOME steak tips, there is a pretty good menu to choose from at the snack bar that they have at the center. Prices are pretty good too. The arcade is somewhat good, though it could be better. Some machines don't really work all the time, though I've never had any problems playing DDR or the Big Buck hunter game. The lanes themselves are really well maintained. I usually bowl at Dover Bowl a lot, and Dover seems much more run down compared to this place. They do a good job here keeping everything updated, and I've never really had any problems in terms of machine issues when actually bowling. One final note, Stephen Hardy that owns the center is by far one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He's a big reason why I go to this center quite frequently. Overall, I really like this place and will continue to bowl here as long as I live in the area.

Only negative experience I had was a grandfather letting his grandson have his soda past the no food or drink line and it spilling all over the floor. But its part of the charm of a bowling alley. Looking forward to my next visit.

Had such a fun time thank you! My whole family had a blast definitely will be back asapread more

Let me start this review by saying I am NOT from New England and only recently moved to MA. This is…read morean entirely new game that nobody outside of this area has even heard of let alone played. I was invited by some friends as a sub for league night not knowing what I was getting into. I was so nervous that I wouldn't get the hang of it, and I really didn't do great, but for my first time I broke 54 twice hahaha. The ladies I played with had an absolute blast and were encouraging which helped. I tried to emulate some of the clearly skilled players but it's a challenge to get used to those little balls! I'm used to playing "big ball" as everyone kept calling it. Anyhow, the game is candlepin. For those who don't know - they are basically straight sticks that are laid out in the same pattern as big ball bowling. You use a ball the size of a bocce ball (larger than a softball) that is pretty light with no holes. You get 3 chances to clear all 10 pins. There is some sort of skill involved that I couldn't quite comprehend. I saw everything from releasing the ball low to the ground right at the entrance of the lane, to people releasing in the air halfway down all having similar success. I witnessed curvature of throws and straight down the line all having success. I'm guessing it's more of a luck thing than a skill thing given I learned nobody at that alley in however many years of history has broken 250 score. I showed up hungry in the hope there was a cafe, but there was no food and I'm unclear on the drinks situation. People had them but I didn't see how they were acquired. Note to self - eat before you go or bring snacks! The gentlemen behind the counter were a HOOT! I rented shoes and they gave me the rundown of not only my team but how the game works. They were ribbing people over the mic which was so fun. This place has been around for a long time and the regulars are embedded into the history. The parking situation is pretty great. There is a lot adjacent to the building with lots of space, and an overflow lot across the street. All in all this is a great alley with character and I'm super excited to go back and practice.
