Fun day mini golfing with the fam! Us four came on a very very hot day but it was still a great time! I had no idea the course was 18 mini holes, that was a pleasant surprise! I was honestly guessing about 9, so that was really cool. I thought the holes and course was maintained and clean. They had some shaded spots and seats in case you need to sit down. The pace was a bit slow but it was a busy day. I can't wait to come back to try the other course! read more

I didn't know there were two courses, the lady at the desk didn't take the time to explain that. I did the course right by where you paid. It was pretty lame. There was nothing but rocks in the greenery. No fun decor or obstacles like a windmill or anything. There wasn't even a starting platform like most places have. Also half the course smelled like trash. Wouldn't put in that course again. Too boring. read more

This is a fun mini golf course. I had a great time with my friends. Holes aren't super challenging but some of them have water hazards if you hit them out of bounds. Scoring is obviously up to you guys to keep track. You can get some ice cream afterwards next door. read more

Golf Country shares a parking lot with Richardson's Ice Cream and the Richardson's cows. Play a game then have a nice frosty treat while you visit with the cows/goats/chickens/ducks. 18 holes - $7 - 1.5 hours - a good time for all! (it helped that there was a maximum 6 strokes per hole - I was so excited whenever I hit a REAL 6 stroke hole because then I didn't have a fake 6 strokes hanging over my head) You have a choice of 2 mini-golf courses set next to one another and a driving range. I haven't been to Golf Country since I was seven and I was fortunate enough to have time to plan a day around going here again. This is the best mini golf and driving range anywhere near Boston and it's attached to Richardson's which is a local far and creamery. All the dairy products are made fresh from the farm and the guests can walk around the farm to see the lovely farm animals. read more

Have been here many years ago when I was younger, but now coming back with my own kids. They loved it, its a clean nice course. Nothing too crazy, some are super easy & its nice & flows well. There are actually 2 courses side by side and I dont know if they prefer you only do 1, but we have often done 1 & then the other and no one seems to mind! read more

Although I've used only one feature of many this facility offers. Come to think of this, this place can be a dream land if you are gun & golf loving republican men. - I don't know if they own this, but there is a shooting range near by. - There is a driving range that seems to be never fully occupied. - If you have teenage sons or daughters, you can locked them in the batting cage while you are at shooting range or driving range. - If you have small kids, you can let your wife and kids play at mini golf courses. I love neither golf or guns. Neither am I a republican. I just love occasional mini golf to make sure I won't be defeated by a legally blind man again. And mostly importantly, courses are very well maintained. And also Richardson's Ice Cream. I cannot leave this place without having their ice cream..... P.S. It is veryyyyy easy to kick 'n scream with loads of profanity unless you are perfect like Tiger Woods. But please *ALWAYS* remind yourself that there are children around you.... read more

Came here a lot as a kid but I'm really disappointed to see they're not taking proper precautions during the covid pandemic. Mask wearing is not enforced and it doesn't seem like they're limiting capacity. They have a tiny sign saying "no mask no balls" but I saw multiple customers walk up to the counter with no masks and they were let into the course. The mini golf courses are so crowded with maybe 1/3 of people not wearing masks. No hand sanitizer available for customers either. Clear disregard for the severity of the pandemic. read more

Prices are good for the mini-golf rounds. Lots of kids and a pretty course. (It's nice green lawns and flowers, not kitchy-cute mini-houses, so if you're looking for that, this isn't your place.) Batting cages are cash only. Richardson's ice cream has gigantic portions and their hot dogs are $1.50. It's like an all-American afternoon in the making! read more

I bought a Groupon for mini golf. I wasn't expecting much. It was much nicer than I thought! Lots of water flowing all around you. Lots of flowers blooming. Recently transplanted sod. "Greens" were well kept, with no leaves or pebbles. Nice brick walkways to the next hole. We went for Richardson's awesome ice cream afterwards, then walked around to see the animals behind Richardson's. It was a really fun afternoon! read more

Leaving the delicious Richardson's ice cream out of this review, I would only make the trek out here for mini golf if you meet one of the following criteria: 1. You have children with ADD and/or behavioral issues that can't sit still or keep off holes while others are putting 2. You have children that are clearly too young for mini golf but you're going to put one of those plastic putters in their hand anyways and let them swing away while a long line forms behind you 3. You have a group of 8 and even though there aren't even 8 different colors of balls you're still going to all play at the same time 4. You enjoy the smell of cow dung, particularly potent on windy days The courses are actually quite nice and if it weren't crowded and filled with idiots meeting criteria 1-3 it would be a nice way to spend an afternoon. read more

For $12 per person, we got to pay 36 holes of mini golf. That's a pretty good deal, considering the place is pretty on par (haha, pun) with places like Pirate's Cove. The holes were pretty well maintained, except some of the "tee" areas had some divots in them, but that's almost to be expected. At least none of the holes had heaved like at less nice mini golf establishments. The place is busy, so prepare to be patient if you get stuck behind a party with several young children. If you get impatient, just go get ice cream or pet the baby cows while you wait. read more

Iiiiii like it. $10 bucks will get you about an hour (per person)--maybe a little less--at the batting cages. They have maybe 10-15 cages, and if you're not a pro, try to get a cage at the beginning where the ball is a little slower. I accidentally went all the way to the end, where it was nice and empty. Didn't realize until a few tokens and a couple sore wrists later, that I was in the fastball cage. They also appeared to have mini-golf which was pretty packed. They have a sign that reads "Unattended children will be sold as slaves." I love this place. Small bucket is $6 Medium is $8 Large is $10, and they have frequent flyer bucket deals up to $350 if you really need to swing it out on the daily. Because climbing on your roof to drive some balls across town is not an option. Peaceful, although it was relatively full on a Tuesday before noon. Everyone just keeps to themselves, which is much appreciated. And the best ice cream in the world is a 2 minute walking distance. read more

This place was super great! I went here today to do some golfing and you could get a whole basket for pretty cheap in my opinion. Then we also did the batting cages and some were out of order but it didn't really affect anything, there were helmets and bats to borrow and the prices once again were very reasonable. Would definitely go to this place again :) read more

My girlfriend and I came to Golf Country to use the driving range. The facility is very well maintained, the staff was very nice and I was able to purchase a new Titleist golf glove while I was there. Unfortunately, I leave a 3 star review because of the condition of the balls that were provided for the driving range. While I don't expect to be hitting brand new balls at a driving range, the golf balls provided were a mashup of yellow and white balls of different brands with all one thing in common; they all were hit too many times and felt like rocks. It is quite a shame because the facility was very nice and the mats were in better condition than other driving ranges I have been to recently. $14 for a large bucket of balls is only slightly more expensive than other local driving ranges, and it would be a good value if the balls were in better condition. Unless the golf balls are replaced with new driving range balls, I do not expect to visit Golf Country again in the near future. read more

Where else can $10 pay for an hours worth of fun for two people? The driving range is great. It's always busy but never too crowded. The range is marked well and kept up. The people are friendly and it's a good value. What else can you ask for in a driving range? They also have mini-golf, batting cages and ice cream. Burn some calories playing mini-golf, using the driving range or batting cages and then consume 10x's those calories with some ice cream!!! Perfect. I prefer the driving range personally and for $8.00 my boyfriend and I can split a bucket of balls and have at the range. Lots of fun and laughs. Then we top of the time with a treat. I came here with my friend for the driving range and now it's the only place we'll go. There is a lot of land so there are plenty of tees and the buckets are reasonably priced. There's also an ice cream place at this location so we usually just pop over there after a hot day at the driving range. read more

I've visited the Golf Country is Saugus, so I was very hesitant about coming to this location in Middleton. However, my doubts were quickly erased because this place rocks! They have two mini golf courses, and you can play both for $12 total. The regular price is still only $7 per round, but if you visit before noon any day of the week you also save a dollar. I've played my fair share of mini golf, and these courses were not easy! I had a really good time and will have to come back to hopefully shoot a lower score. We went to the driving range afterwards as well. The prices are standard, $10 for a large, $8 for a medium. There are plenty of mats to hit from, some are covered and the rest are out in the open. The actual range is pretty large with a lot of targets to hit at, including a few greens. The range goes back pretty far too so there is no issue with hitting drivers. The last time I was at the Saugus location, they had a sign up that said "No Woods Until Nets Fixed." If you are thinking of going to a Golf Country location - you will not be disappointed if you chose the one in Middleton. read more

Now I hate golf, but I love to go to the driving range. Go figure. And I love to go to Golf Country. It is conveniently located on route 114 in Middleton Mass. There is something for everyone here. They have a nice large driving range. You can try to practice your long swing or you can try to hit the ball onto the par 3 green located in the middle of the range. There is a small putting green located behind the tees. Also, there is minigolf and the batting cages. The best part is Richardson's ice cream is located next door. read more

This is a great place for mini golf! There are two courses - both are fairly difficult. The grounds are fairly well maintained - lots of benches a long the way which is great when it's busy and you have to wait for the next hole to open up. The prices are fair, but they do great Groupon deals too!! We ALWAYS make a stop at Richardson's ice cream afterwards. GREAT mini golf course! There are 2 18 hole golf courses. Every time we've been we've played both and had a blast. Courses are very well maintained. Both courses are semi-difficult - nothing unmanageable but definitely a good time! Perfectly located right next to Richardson's ice cream. Visited 10 times in the last 2 weeks. Mostly a good experience, but today we got Mr. crabby pants. Kids want to hit a bucket and are sometimes confused about club size. Is it really so hard to change in their club for a larger one? Possibly without swearing at them. For $12 a bucket could you just reach over? Ok? I came here to try out the batting cages and driving range. The driving range is not very well maintained. The grass is disgusting and its almost impossible to find a piece of grass to hit off of. Could be due to the season coming to an end, but I'm not sure. You're better off on the turf. The batting cages are below average. Once you insert your token you have to wait a minute before the light even turns on. The balls are coming in not as a pitch but a lob. read more

Nice driving range, great mini golf, and delicious ice cream. What could be better?! The rates are very reasonable and specials come up on Groupon all the time. There are two mini golf courses you can choose from, which keeps things moving and cuts down on long lines. Each hole presents a unique challenge, which helps keep you (and the kids) interested. There's plenty of parking and the location is great. Finish the day with some of the best ice cream in the area at Richardson's. Just hope that the lines are not too long when you're there. An afternoon of mini golf and ice cream will set a family of four back about $30-$40 depending on whether you use a Groupon voucher, or whether the kids get a large cone or not. By the way, a kiddie is about as much ice cream as I can eat in one sitting. So, fight the temptation to go for anything bigger. read more

We went last night and the course was really run down looking. I know there has been a lot of rain, but there was mud, dirt etc and it looked like no one bothered to clean up at all. While the staff are extremely friendly, and grass tees are always a luxury at a driving range, to pay an extra fee for using the natural turf driving range and then to get DRENCHED by sprinklers is totally unacceptable. Golf bag, golf clubs, grips, clothing, hair -- SOAKED. They turned the sprinklers on right after I arrived, and they ran them for 30 minutes, even after I alerted staff. If you are interested in a genuine golf practice facility, go find a golf course with a range and putting green. This place fails. read more

went on Saturday, $11 for a medium bucket. the Golf balls must be 10 years old, like hitting rocks. only half of the heaters are working, but biggest complaint was the Golf balls. management needs to spend some money and invest on new golf balls. go some where else. read more
