My friend and I opted for froses they make in house with their wines. They had complimentary popcorn for the people in their tasting room. They have bocce ball outside and tables with umbrellas for people to hangout in the vineyard. Our 2 year old was able to play and we brought a yard game to entertain him as well. I had reservations at 12:30 at Sweet Baby. I arrived a little early, and they weren't very busy at all so we were told where our table was right away. To start, I ordered white peach. Sweet Baby has all different types of wines from bubbles, reds, whites, to dessert wines so everyone can find something they like. I mostly ordered sweet wines as that is my preference. Every wine was good, but my favorite was pear. It tasted exactly like pear without being too sweet. On the other hand, blueberry which my husband ordered at one point was overall sweet and tasted like liquid sugar. You can get flights, tastings, and glasses. I went for a tasting- 6 , 1oz pours (although I feel that the pours always look bigger then 1oz). The staff is always sweet and willing to tell you more about the wines and make recommendations when needed. Great local winery! In the summer they offer outside seating as well, some of the tables that have an umbrella covering them. Bought the special from Groupon, which seems to be the thing to do as I think every patron inside had the Groupon as well. The parking was a bit challenging as it was very packed and we had to park on the grass. Once inside it was so packed, there was barely any room to stand. It took quite a while to be greeted or even have a chance to make it to the wine as there were several older folks crowding the bar area. Once we did, we were able to sample some wine and got our cheese and crackers plate. The cheese was delicious and they give you a large amount of it. We tried several wines, Pinot, blueberry, strawberry, cab, etc. My one knock was that they were all toi sweet. Not what I like but I didn't drop the review due to that as some people may like it that way but do note that all of their wine is sweet, even the drys. The cheese plate for a big block of cheese and crackers was $7. They have dry, sweet, red, white, rose, sparking, fruit, and dessert wines. Everyone should be able to find something they like. The Callums Red was our favorite and we bought a bottle (or 2). The outside area has many different sitting areas, they have a cute gazebo, outdoor patio, and some random tables spread throughout. Driving into Sweet Baby Vineyard, you would never know it's a vineyard. In a relatively new commercialized area, Sweet Baby Vineyard is quaint and rustic, as it is housed in an old farm house. They have a decent amount of parking space and when you walk into the actual venue, the inside is newly remodeled and houses all of their wines. The staff was incredibly nice and offered suggestions as far as the tastings. After getting some tastings, my friends and I went outside to their gazebo area! They have a great deal of outdoor seating for you to sip on their wine and eat their cheese and crackers. The gazebo sits in the middle of their vineyard, so you get the view of grape wines! After trying 6 of their wines, my favorites ended up being the Marechal Foch, which is a tart, red wine, and the cranberry apple! All of their reds were decent, but the Marechal Foch was unique and different, which I appreciated. With the Groupon offer, I was able to get a bottle of wine with 15% off. However, their wines are appropriately priced. If you end up not doing the Groupon offer, they serve glasses of their wine for $6. The cheese plate and tasting is Devine! We were surprised by the good wine, bought the sparking wine and a bottle of the Cabernet to bring home. Many came to just enjoy the day. Some had the tasting then bought a bottle of wine to side down to a picnic. Some brought hummus and other snacks to share with they're group. The staff were helpful and helped us pick the best wines to try. The cheese is served as a block, be prepared for the size, our eyes were the size of saucers when we saw the block of cheese. It's Cabot cheddar and they recommend and buy the big blocks. They say it's better. Great place to spend some time during the day. We got there and the parking was a bit confusing, it was full of cars so we just parked somewhere on the grass. When you enter you're welcomed right away and the lady explains how it works. You get two wine cups as souvenirs (pictures are deceiving the cups are quite small but very cute), and a big block of cheese and crackers. You get to choose six wines to try, one at a time. A truly amazing vineyard. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, and does pretty much everything himself. It is apparent that this is a great business, as they are busy each time we have visited. He is also big on supporting local businesses, as evidenced by the amazingly large hunk of cheese and hot pepper jelly that you can pair with your wine tasting. Do me a favor and don't skip that. Got it? Some of the best cheese and jelly you will ever consume. On top of it all, the wines are all of great quality. He keeps a large number of wines on the tasting menu, more than any other vineyard I've been to in the area. I love the Niagara and fruit wines. They are affordable bottles (between $12-14 or so), which is a huge surprise. Many of his wines have won multiple awards at reputable competitions. 10% of his profits also go toward supporting local farms, so if you want some good karma, buy lots and lots of wine. I came here right after I went to Zorvino's winery, same day! This was a more nontraditional tasting than what I was used to. There was a room that looked like a living room ,with tables and a counter where you tasted the wine. They provided cheese and crackers (YAY) The wines were good, but not my favorite. This was our second trip to this "winery." The first time exposed us to some of the worst wine we have ever tasted. Not sure if the "winemaker" just never learned the craft, or if he just actually thinks the wine is good. When you read other positive reviews, understand that they are probably from family and friends. The only reason we returned was because our son gave us a Groupon for a birthday present. If possible, the wine and atmosphere have become worse in the time we had been away. The dry red wines or HORRID! There is nothing in any other place we have sampled wine that compares to this swill. The nose (aroma) is just as bad as the flavor. The Cabernet was totally undrinkable and the other "dry" reds and whites were hard to identify - the chardonnay was unlike anything that passes for chardonnay domestically or from France, Italy or anywhere else. I believe most people get a huge chunk of cheap cheddar cheese and some club crackers and think that 6 samples are a great bargain. I believe the cheese and crackers allow the guests to tolerate the taste of the wine. Guests who had the Groupon were hustled out of the main room and down to a basement area. They then had to walk up and down stairs to request the next pour. These guys should concentrate on their mediocre fruit wines and not try to play with the "big boys" producing real wines. Their "new" wine, what they call an "Italian Blend" looked like muddy river water. It was not as bad as other reds, but the cloudiness was off-putting. Save your money and buy the cheapest wine you can get from your local liquor store, sit at home with a box of saltines and american cheese slices, and watch Netflix. It will be cheaper and the experience far better than this place! read more

My friends and I got a groupon for 6 people for $36 (total) to wine taste!!! We got 6 wine tastings each and 3 cheese boards, which we didn't even need, we couldn't even finish one! This place knows how to do it! It's so cozy and relaxing. No need to dress up. The owners and employees are very nice and friendly. When it got hectic, there wasn't a lot of room and it started getting a little hot, which was the only downside, but my friends and I got the sofas before more people came in! I have gone multiple time to Sweet Baby Vineyard and I can honestly say it's been a great experience time after time. The vineyard is very easy to find a has a great tasting room. In the summer they open the patio, which we have sat before. Last time we went we sat on the couches in the seating area and while it's a large open room, I feel like there is enough space between tables and chairs to give each group a private area. This time we had found a groupon for wine tasting for 4. It included 6 tastings, a chunks of cheese with crackers, and soveniur glass for you to take home. I'm not actually crazy about their wine. They have whites, reds, and even sparklings. I find that most of their reds are a little fruitier than I care for, but I thoroughly enjoy their Barn Door Red and Minnie's Bubbles (which is a white sparkling). I'm not a fan of most of their whites. If you like sweet wine, you will definitely like their selection. I don't recommend their peach wine or apple & cranberry wine. Put a splash of their raspberry wine and it's to die for! The Farmstand White is also good as well as the other fruit wines like apple and blueberry. The grounds are beautiful although I couldn't see much with snow. The barn was built in 1896 and in excellent condition. It really lends to the atmosphere. What a GREAT FIND!!! I bought a groupon for 4 wine tastings, as we were looking for something to do in March while my sister was visiting from CO. We went on a Thursday and took my parents, the property is small, I've driven by this before and never noticed it, but don't let that stop you from going - it was Fantastic! The tasting room when you first enter is small with a bar top and 2 tables, a whiteboard lists the available wines. The actual wines are displayed as well and they have local products (honey and other things) for sale. Downstairs is a very large tasting room, with 6 or 8 oak barrel tables and a comfy lounge area with a couch & chairs. We each got (6) 2 oz. samples of wine of our choice and 2 cheese and cracker platters, which was the best cheese ever! I asked, it's Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar and it was a lot of cheese, we are rats when it comes to cheese and we still couldn't finish it and they gave us a bag to take it home! We also got to keep the wine glasses, granted they are small, but really, really cute! There is also an outdoor patio area, which on a warm day would be quite enjoyable. They have chickens roaming around, and a really good feel about everything. We sampled a lot of the wines and our favorites were the Malbec, the Apple Cranberry, which I'm surprised I liked, as I'm not usually a fan of fruit wines, but this had a full flavor and a nice dry finish. Another favorite was the Dry Niagara, which had a very full floral bouquet. The Baby Blue, was also good, sweet, but aged in bourbon barrels which gave it a very nice taste. We weren't fans of the white's we tried, both the Chardonnay and the Pinot Grigio, the Chardonnay wasn't oaky at all and the Pinot was way to light. My sister really liked the Minnie's Bubbles, which was a sparkling sweet wine. I liked that we got 15% off anything we purchased. Our server was very friendly and helpful when recommending wines and giving background. A couple of helpful things would have been a printed menu of the available wines including a description of each (we had to take a picture and look at our phone the whole time). Another thing that would have helped was if there was tray to transport the wines downstairs, as the server had to help me carry them down each time. I bought a bottle of Malbec for my Dad's upcoming birthday and we will definitely be going back! Hopefully during warmer weather, so we can enjoy the outdoor patio! This place is probably my favorite vineyard in the New England area. To tell you the truth, when we first arrived here I was a little disappointed from the outside. The owner (Eek I forgot his name) was actually the one serving the tastings. He was very generous with the pours and gave a little blurb about each wine we were tasting. The owner was very easy going, funny, and VERY nice. The atmosphere was great - the other people doing the tasting were so fun to talk to and trust me, they were not our age! Honestly, I would drive up here from Boston just to come to this vineyard again. Who cares about the other vineyards near by? I had a great experience without the aesthetics. The cheese plate was also generously portioned and quite tasty for $7. Not a bad place to stop if its on your way and you want some cheese and a rest... This wine is so low caliber I'm not sure I would categorize it as wine. It is almost like an entirely foreign substance. We paid for 12 pours but barely made it to 6 before deciding to stop so i cannot account for all of the wines they offer. My brother, his wife, and I tried the following samples which I have ordered from worst to best: Barn Door Red wine- honestly unrecognizable as a beverage let alone red wine. It tasted like a salad dressing vinegar to me. Confusing. Chardonnay- almost as pale as water. Extremely dry, astringent, and vinegary. Awful. Blueberry wine- dry and oxidized with sweet blueberry top notes, borderline medicinal. Peach wine- tasted like a flat dry cider, hint of peach, oxidized. Did not taste like part of the wine family. Apple wine- also tasted like a flat oxidized dry cider, some bland apple flavor. Still no recognizable wine notes. Raspberry wine- i actually sorta liked this one in moderation. It is tangy fruity syrupy and very sweet- would possibly be good drizzled on ice cream or added as a splash to champagne but by itself it is too intense. read more
