My friend and I opted for froses they make in house with their wines. They had complimentary popcorn for the people in their tasting room. They have bocce ball outside and tables with umbrellas for people to hangout in the vineyard. Our 2 year old was able to play and we brought a yard game to entertain him as well. The only wish was that there be frozen drinks or slushies for parents wishing to enjoy without the kiddo grabbing my cup jajaja! Overall recommend this place for a fun afternoon activity.

Sweet Baby has all different types of wines from bubbles, reds, whites, to dessert wines so everyone can find something they like. I mostly ordered sweet wines as that is my preference. Every wine was good, but my favorite was pear. It tasted exactly like pear without being too sweet. On the other hand, blueberry which my husband ordered at one point was overall sweet and tasted like liquid sugar. You can get flights, tastings, and glasses. I went for a tasting- 6 , 1oz pours (although I feel that the pours always look bigger then 1oz). The staff is always sweet and willing to tell you more about the wines and make recommendations when needed. Great local winery! In the summer they offer outside seating as well, some of the tables that have an umbrella covering them. When they are busy, parking in the back can be limited, and you may have to park in the grass when you first enter into the winery area.

Bought two cases for my wedding and people were begging to take bottles home with them. It's been months and I still get people asking where to get more wine! They have tastings on Sundays, or you can call and schedule one. The best. Simply, the best.

And the latest offer is a Jalapeño wine suitable for a mean morning Bloody Mary. The drive is reminiscing of a Currier & Ives and, As a matter of fact, the highway into town (Rte 127) is also called Currier & Ives highway. Grandiose, pre-Revolutionary War homes, meticulously kept, line the highway. Once on the property, we went into the building that houses the wine making apparatus, part of which is now the tasting room. We tried seven different offerings including Elderberry, Blackberry, plum and the Jalapeño. Today, 30 October, will be the opening of their new tasting room, a pre-Civil War building that served as a manufacturing area for Union troop boots during the Civil War. The outside is still historically accurate but the inside is completely rebuilt in a post and beam motif. The place also has its own mascot, a beautiful half Cairns and half Jack Russell dog that is the friendliest dog ever.

The food, I wish I could eat there everyday, filet and chicken, and the butternut squash! If you are looking for a a mix of rustic and modern this is it! An absolute blessing to have Avery and Michelle. The tag team dream team, what an amazing coordinator and perfect attended. They helped make this day perfect, it was the smoothest day. From making every detail of the decor design set up perfect and also they packed the car with all our decor after the wedding. And making sure we were well hydrated. If I could do it all over again this is the place we would come. Avery thank you so much! Birchwood thank you for being you.

There are good sized bridal and groom's room for getting ready for the event. For this wedding the family gathered in the front room where we could watch picture taking outside. There was a large bar with lots of offerings. For the wedding we walked to an adjourning room. It was large. Chairs were set up for the ceremony. A fireplace was lit up front. Piped music sounded fine. Candles were lit. Along the walls were round tables set for dinner. Following the ceremony the guests left to go to the front room for drinks and very nice hors d'oeuvres. That's when the set tables were moved out and arranged for dinner. Then the guests moved to the prepared dining area. A DJ played music. The wedding planner was present and took care of everything. We attended on a snowy day and the rooms were very cold. So ladies, wear a wrap or jacket until the dancing starts.
