Cute park, good for a short walk around the lake (about 1 mile). In the spring, the green landscape is beautiful. I've never seen so much and different shades of green! (I'm from Cali... we're in a drought). The short walk was peaceful. It wasn't crowded and there were plenty of parking available.

My go-to spot for runs and walks. The trail is an easy 1 mile the loops around Dorrs Pond. When it's sunny outside, the trees along the walking trail provides needed shade, I never have to wear my hat when going through the trail which is an added plus.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VIEW! So amazing at this park!

My best friend and I ended up finding this park after another park we attempted to go to was closed. Were originally from Salem, MA. Their hours are based on residency, so we were able to use the pool from 4-4:45pm. It was fun! I had m two kids with me and they enjoyed their time. They had a standup shower to clean off. Afterwards we had some food and ended up going to the park in the same park area! Their pond view is also amazing! Definitely a nice relaxing place to go to! Parking is good, might have to go to a different lot within the same area but still a good amount of space. Recommended for a day out with kids!!! Make sure to bring stroller to go on a walk for tr younger kids!

Great park close to downtown Manchester! Has a pool for Manch residents, football, baseball and soccer fields. Playground and 1 mile walk around scenic pond. Trail is wide and in some places has a wooden platform, so wheelchair accessible. Picnic tables and benches are provided, as is parking. Fishing is also available in the pond, which is stocked.

It's a great mostly shaded spot to walk dogs with beautiful bridges and wide trails. It's basically a gem in the middle of a city

Except for massive swarms of big flying insects along the length of the river walk. No idea what they were, but had to cover my face at one point. I had brought Hannahbelle along since Deepak is hoping to get a dog at some point in his life. He wanted to practice leash walking and just generally get a dog fix. They hit it off. ;) Not a lot of green space, but some people were playing frisbee in the parking lot. Garbage bins are limited. They have a "bring it in, take it out" philosophy. And please make sure you have baggies to clean up after your dog. They're not supplied. The big draw is being able to walk adjacent to the Merrimack River, as part of the New Hampshire Trail System. It was lovely and calm today, but can be quite dangerous over those big rocks during spring thaw runs. Not unusual that first responders need to rescue people who aren't thinking, or daredevils who underestimate the power of fast moving water. Not all rescues are successful. :( Ample parking, though it is "pay and display", deposit your money at a machine and display the receipt on your car dashboard. Currently $.75/hour with a 10 hour limit, though in other parts of the downtown area, it's only a 2 hour limit. You will have an amazing view of the entire city! Because of the view on top of the mountain I'm giving Rock Rimmon a solid five stars! We went back East on Bremer streets for 6 blocks and found park access on the left. If you're GPSing or getting directions online, I would look up "Dupont Pool" instead of Rock Rimmon Park. Anyway, once my girlfriend and I got there, we found a large pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a playground. No picnic tables though, which was kind of a bummer, since we brought food. But we just plopped down in the grass and ate. After we ate, we went through the trail. At first, it looked like it was going to be somewhat of a climb, but once we started, it really wasn't bad. You definitely notice a lot of litter, including broken glass, and vandalism; mostly from chalk. Most of the chalk writing is fine but there is some stereotypical, childish, vandalism there too. However, the view from atop of the rock is very pretty. We got lots of great pictures, and enjoyed just sitting with our feet dangling off the edge. The temperature was great out, so it was really relaxing. It was a good experience, but it strikes me as a place that I might only visit once again.
