Ordered a pizza and received half a "fresh" pizza and half old cold slices assuming out of the case. Curious where the other "fresh" half went.

First of all, don't be fooled by four star, 39 reviews. You need to add one more zero at the end to make it 390. This is Ithaca and I'm guessing yelpers are limited here. We brought a group of 20 people and the owner quickly knew how to serve us right away. It's not a full service restaurant. You order or pick out a pizza and you can sit yourself. We ordered a couple of pizza slices and they warmed it up for us. I tried one with olive, spinach and tomatoes. There's nothing like eating crispy crust pizza. Very delicious! We also got some chicken wings and it came with a blue cheese dressing with chunks of cheese in it. I think it's made from scratch. I've never tasted such a flavorful blue cheese dressing. The owner chatted with us for little while and ask where we were from. Such a nice and friendly guy.

Dear Margherita Pizza, Oh so oily pizza, how you drip your oils onto my tongue. If a napkin is forgotten then the oil is not stopping. Kendrick Lamar.... Oh how you write amazing songs; they make me happy. If only the pizza made me that happy.. Love, Kat & Jude P.S. lay off the oil Ned.

Completely undercooked pizza with mushrooms not even close to cooked

Been ordering pizza from this location for 20+ years...in the last 18 months it's gotten really bad...unfortunately pictures don't lie....mushrooms aren't even cooked. Half the time the wings are overcooked and half the time they're under. Hate to say it, but I'd rather drive for 15 minutes than 2 if it means another option.

The pizza is great. Thin crispy crust and a large variety of toppings for the walk-in by-the-slice customer. My favorite pizza in town.

There were just 2 other diners, and staff were mostly standing around talking to each other. My partner asked for our toddler's slice to be warmed up "10-20 seconds, it's for a baby" when we received the slice *a few minutes later* it was so hot I burned the roof of my mouth when testing it for her. FIVE MINUTES LATER we received our personal slices which had been left in the oven so long the crust was burnt to a crisp. When I said "excuse me, this is burnt" to the counter person, they looked at me with a blank stare and then proceeded to walk away. As a former server, maitre d, and FOH manager, I know this is not how you appropriately handle a situation in which a guest is upset before even touching their food. There was no offer to replace the (literally black crusted) pizza, no "sorry" no ... anything. Instead, a blank stare as they went back behind the counter to continue their conversation with the pizza cook. The pizza is still great, but if this is what Franco's thinks qualifies as half-way decent customer service - they have some issues that need correcting. I don't know if we'll be back; maybe we will just continue taking to go instead of trying to enjoy a meal on-site.

Nice lofted space with high ceilings and the pizza opens prominently displayed smack dab in the middle. Great selection of Neapolitan and Sicilian slices. Italian sodas and desserts. We tried an assortment some garlic knots. Everything with delicious. The Sicilian was particularly airy yet crisp. Pretty good. Definitely agree with it being on of the best pizza spots in Ithaca I have tried to date.

"Flavorful...and what a crust!"…read more We recently enjoyed the Arrabiata (bottom), Margherita (top L) and Fresca (top R). Each is a generous size for one. All were great in their own way. The Fresca was our favorite, with fresh pesto vibing great with the arugula. The Marg was sweeter and vibrant. The Arrab may not be to everyone's taste: it's spicy and bitter (Italian parsley and capers), but again, fresh ingredients make it delicious. Others have commented on the crust. This is a more Sicilian, focaccia-like crust than it is a NY crust, which would be flat and crispy. You can tell Adelina's really pays attention to this foundational element because 1) it's airy, crispy and soft, while maintaining a slightly chewy texture; and 2) they have a manifesto about it on the menu. We'd gladly jump into more Adelina's next time we're at the Argo!

Although it's been super hot in Ithaca, the outdoor seating is nice because it's semi-shaded and is open from later afternoon-evenings. There always seems to be plenty of tables available and it's just an overall pretty patio. The staff at Adelina's is super sweet and fast paced. It never takes super long for a pizza. Delicious pasta! Better than Thompson and Bleecker and perhaps my favorite restaurant in Ithaca!…read more We tried the eggplant roll appetizer which was warm and very cheesy. The anchovy salad was also good (I prefer the white anchovies which they used). The salad was also quite generous with the cheese. I enjoyed dipping the warm bread in the leftover eggplant cheese/sauce. For mains we tried the chicken, black spaghetti, and the pappardelle. I love mushrooms, so the pappardelle was my favorite. A rather simple buttery sauce which allowed the flavor of the mushrooms to really come through. Delicious! I don't usually like to re-order the same dish when returning to restaurants, but this was so good when I come back I will definitely be getting this again! Black spaghetti and chicken were also good- no complaints here. For dessert we tried the panna cotta which was a tiny bit on the runny side though I am just being picky. It was very tasty and not too sweet. The tiramisu was also good (on the boozier side). The desserts were rather small but the mains were all quite hefty portion sizes. Reservations were rather inconvenient to snag though definitely not too hard. Overall, I really enjoyed Gola Osteria and will have to return to try more of their pastas!

I haven't been in Collegetown for months and months due to COVID-19, but I've been trying to support restaurants and employees in Ithaca by ordering takeout and delivery... so Pronto seemed like a fun option to try. I ordered two pizzas - a White Mushroom Pizza (thin crust with added sausage), and a Cilantro Corn Pizza (which I *thought* I only noted to say "minimal jalapenos" in terms of customization... but apparently, I checked a box on the ordering system to say "No Corn & Jalapeños", which was my mistake... and I had to double-check my receipt to see what the issue was, because I was originally taken aback when opening the pizza box... but no, that issue was on me). I also ordered a Blackberry Goat Cheese Salad with added sunflower seeds and golden raisins (and ciabatta bread)... dressing on the side. Originally, my order was scheduled to be delivered at 12:19pm... but it actually was delivered ~40 minutes later at 1pm, and the pizza definitely seemed like it had been sitting around for a while or something, as both pizzas were very, very cold. The presentation for the white mushroom pizza wasn't great, as it came with just giant globs of ricotta on top and just generally didn't look great (it looked VERY dry, and had honestly little to no flavor at all)... I expected something much more thoughtfully put together. The cilantro and corn pizza itself isn't one I can really review, considering I messed up ordering that one. Both pizzas were smaller than expected. All in all, this was a fairly "meh" experience. I'm not holding my ordering mishap against Pronto, but the white mushroom pizza was pretty lacking (in flavor and presentation), delivery took longer than expected, and my food arrived very cold. I still want to order and support local around the Rochester / Ithaca / Syracuse areas... but with so many other restaurants deserving support, I don't expect to order from Pronto again in the near future.

We noticed a sign for the Marrakech Pizzeria and Mediterranean Restaurant, and saw patrons going in so we knew it was open. (We noticed signs for Casablanca Pizzeria on the way out; it's the same place). Upon entering, we saw that they offer pizza by the slice, as well as a good assortment of whole pizzas, calzones, cheesesteaks, gyros, and more. Given that their cheesesteak subs were 12", we decided to split a Philly Cheesesteak, which came with fries for $10.99 (if I remember correctly). Food (3.5/5). The cheesesteak featured the steak, onions, green peppers, mushrooms (?), American cheese, and mayonnaise on a hoagie roll. The roll was amazing, tasting fresh and nicely grilled. However, given how large it was, the roll overwhelmed the meat and vegetable fillings. We particularly would've liked for the sub to have more vegetables. The French fries were okay. They arrived hot, with a sufficient but not large quantity and with a lot of small pieces. Overall, we felt that the meal was a good value, especially if you consider that we split the meal and had enough to eat. Service (4/5). We only saw two workers who alternated between taking orders, manning the grills, and bringing the food to the counter for pickup. Our order was a bit slow to come out but we could only blame ourselves because we allowed two sets of patrons to pass us in line as we reviewed the menu. Staff were efficient and neither friendly nor unfriendly. They got the job done. Ambiance. (2/5). This isn't a date night kind of place. There are functional booths, but no real decor. The fountain drink machine wasn't working but you could order canned sodas at the counter. We were able to access water from the aforementioned broken machine. Overall, a good experience for a fast meal. I forgot to take photos. Sorry!
