Do not use this company. From what I can tell, they must farm out the jobs to the laziest dumbest people they can find. They kept showing up and leaving without ringing my doorbell or calling me, stating they couldn't perform the job because my building is too tall from the front. Well, great, except my gutters are in the back and there's easy access. No one at the company talks to each other or reads the notes. I was told three separate days to be available so I could allow them to evaluate the back access and then they'd drive off without me even knowing they came. Total waste of time. read more

Received confirmation report cleaning was done.The next week the gutter was overflowing still so I called and crew returned only to say the gutter was not obstructed but the pitch was off. This was not in the original report and I was not told. Very disappointed in the service and think I paid for a cleaning that didn't need to be done. Horrible - do no hire them - its a scam to sell maintenance programs I called because of flooding from a clogged downspout. Instead of fixing that they removed the gutter guards, damaged my gutters, told me I now needed new gutters and that Id have to pay more to get the actual problem addressed. They scheduled the service for 2 days later then they called the day of the appointment to say they couldn't come - 1st person said because they didn't have a crew in the area, 2nd person said the machine was broken... this a huge company - only 1 machine???!!!! total scam!!! read more

we had not done our gutters for year. it was real bad I tried to do it myself but I just couldn't. the two men came in went right to work cleaned out the gutters on both the lower roof and higher roof. I now have no screens in my windows. They asked when I booked if I had screens, and then when the men came for the window cleaning they advised me to remove the screens from the inside. They then left without telling me they had completed the job or asking me to approve the work. There is no way to put the screens back on from the inside without someone pressing on them from the outside. I am now going to have to hire someone with a ladder to help me replace the screens. I am so frustrated. Please don't work with these people. read more

At first, I was skeptical of the soft wash wondering if it would be strong enough to clean our vinyl siding. In the past, it took a lot of scrubbing in certain areas of our home (even with a power washer). Miguel's team was very professional and meticulous! Our home looks pristine! Avoid this company. They trap you in recurring service you don't need and show up after a single text that says they're already on their way. The workers broke my external spigot and I have spent the last several weeks unsuccessfully trying to get them to reimburse me despite providing photos, an invoice, and a written statement from my plumber. Then, they had the nerve to hassle me about discontinuing my recurring service contract. Anyone can clean your gutters. These guys are are scammers. read more

they are a scam!!!!! Run! They said they have a voice recording of us committing to a contract verbally. But have not shared that with us. They showed up one day for 5 minutes while we were at work and supposedly cleaned gutters which we did not ask for. Now trying to charge us $200. We emailed and called repeatedly and no resolve. Stay away from Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning. They damaged my house blowing off a piece of siding. They claim to repair damage they cause; they absolutely do NOT. They refused to send anyone out to even look at the damage. They even tried to hide the damage by blowing the leafs against the house blocking the door to cover the piece of siding they damage. The attached photos show where the siding was blown off. Where there workers tried to cover the damage and where the workers blew the leafs to block the second sliding door. read more

We had Ned's Home come today to clean out gutters. I like that you get a text message when they are on their way. They got here on time and started cleaning our gutters. About 1 hour after the guys left I was going to blow the leaves out of the drive. To my surprise not only did Ned Stevens crew cleaned out my gutters on the house and garage, they cleared out aall the leaves and pine needles that were on my driveway!!! BEWARE OF SCAMS - I have used the gutter cleaning company in the past and was not happy with the service. It's been several years since I used them and today two men showed up at my house and started to climb the ladder and connect a hose to clean my gutters. I had to go outside and chase them off my property. I never asked for my gutters to be cleaned. I have not even spoken to Ned Stevens in three years. They didn't wanna leave and they said we're supposed to clean your gutters. I had to threaten to call the police if they didn't leave. I feel like this is a scam where they're just going to clean your gutters and then bill you when you never asked for it. I got smart and called the company and asked them to find out how this could happen and they had me down as a customer over three years ago. I told him I never want them to clean my gutters ever again and I will never accept this happening again. And they can never step foot on someone's property without at least ringing the doorbell. read more

The service was poor - the gutter cleaners barely spent any time at my house and tramped over everything quite carelessly - and would leave a mess. Then there were the ominous notes of a problem that needed addressing etc etc. I guess this was an effort to sell me something else. Our Ring camera caught everything -- they took out the ladder, snapped a few pictures, then packed up and left without cleaning a single gutter. No actual work. Total time onsite was 6 minutes. Just a charge on our account for a job they pretended to do. This isn't just bad service, it's dishonest and unacceptable. This was my first and last bad experience with Ned's Home . The first crew did not complete the gutters in the back of my house . According to Ring camera - they spent 11 minutes at my home and charged almost 200$ . I complained and they returned but with no notice . I just happened to be home . The job was completed, but really should two trips be necessary. I'm very disheartened to be treated like this with a representative saying "I'll take your word that the work wasn't done . ok, we have an old house with several levels of roof, some Yankee gutters, as well as mesh to keep vermin out of our eaves/solar panels. So granted, our gutters are a little complicated. but when we had our general contractor here for some other work, he noticed: -- lots of leaves in gutters, blocking downspouts. our last cleaning. was December, AFTER the fall leaf fall. the leaders shouldn't have become blocked with fall leaves between December and July. -- the gutters on our highest level of roof weren't cleaned at all. if my contractor could get up there, why couldn't a specialist in gutter cleaning get up there? -- many of tour downspouts and leaders are cracked or rotten. Would have appreciated being told this by the gutter specialist -- they might have gotten some work out of it, because we want to fix the problem to avoid future water damage. my GC will benefit, as he gets the work now. read more

Last October we used Ned Steven's Gutter Cleaning and Installation to get new gutters for our home. They did a good job installing the new gutters. However, during late summer we noticed dark stripe streaks down the entire system around our home. I called them and they sent out a manager and he called them tiger stripes. He replied that's normal nothing we can do about it. These gutters aren't even a year old and they look terrible with these dirty stripes. I called their office again and was told that they can come out for a one time courtesy call and clean them. That never happened and we didn't hear from them again!! We are so very disappointed in this business. I later found out after the fact that they are NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau. I wish that I did my research and homework before I hired them. I am a very disappointed and dissatisfied customer. read more

I mistook the speed for efficiency - now I know better. Everything done over the phone from aggressive sales who are looking to lock you in and upsell within 30 seconds. No one is going to give an on-site evaluation, they use photos (google maps), but will somehow immediately know that you need work done. Labor is supposed to call beforehand of their arrival (their window of service is month with no clarity, 'due to weather'), and leave a note when they complete it- done one time, but not the other. Contracts and estimates are general - you will get an invoice with few or no details on what is included or excluded; this is key. The terminology on one contract was not the same for the other, and what sales says is included is not necessarily what will happen, but they will rush to get the job 'done' and billing charged before you have time to recognize that there were no details of what will or will not be included. Voiced my complaint to them about it, did not hear back. If you want someone who will come by, ask the questions, get nitty-gritty specific with suggestions and detailed invoices, go elsewhere. read more

Ned Stevens provided services knowing that the credit card had expired. They do not notify you prior to coming and if they had we would have told them that their services were not needed.
