Cowboy crunch burrito with avocado. Dollar bill was used for size scale.

Don't waste your time going to those chain burrito places! Eat local! When, in doubt, try the cowboy crunch! The burritos are huge. Without a doubt this is my favorite burrito place on the East Coast.

My boyfriend brought me here as we visit his family in Pennsylvania. I thought the burrito was quite good! Him and I ended up ordering the exact same things, but it sounds like they have a lot of variety. I got a Cajun chicken burrito on a jalapeño cheese wrap with Spanish rice and black beans. I added guacamole and had the medium sauce with cheese. I added the chopped jalapeño and onions which definitely added a bit of spice. It was a perfect size that kept me full for hours!

Employees are friendly, food was pretty good. Definitely a different vibe aesthetically.

Service - Service was friendly and very helpful Facility - Everything-looked clean . Food - we both ordered a burrito bowl with Cajun chicken, sour cream, lettuce tomato cheese and Spanish rice, Food was fresh and and very delicious I thought it could have used maybe salt and pepper it seemed to be missing something. Cost - I personally thought it was kinda pricey.

Neato Burrito was such a great lunch for me after driving 2+ hours to visit a friend. We both got the cowboy crunch burrito and it was amazing. It's full of chicken, beans, rice, and crunch of course. It also has barbecue sauce in it which is a really really great addition. The burritos are HUGE, like definitely as big or bigger than my head. I think I ate about half or three-quarters of my burrito before I just couldn't eat any more. The price is really good considering you get so much food. It's also a pretty big restaurant so it would be good for groups and kids too!

The chips n guac where pretty good!

Two stars because neato burrito is the bastard child of taco bell and chipotle. We where looking for a northeastern substitute for Tijuana Flats in Florida. The ambiance: A nice attempt to be funky and ecclectic. Beverage selections: The beverage selection was great, as I saw an array of "vintage" style soda pops, old school Pepsi n dew bottles as well as some mom and pop or import brands. The food: The guac: It was great, the chips were fresh. A bit over salted, but I ate it regardless. The gripe: We got two half pound burritos that contained 2 table spoons of meat each, 1 side of large guac n chips and 2 soda pops. We paid $25.00. It was not worth it. I would have enjoyed chipotle which was more protien hardy than neato. I hate to say this, but taco bell would have been a better choice since I would have had the same taste, but at a fraction of the price. The food: The poor excuse for "Angus" beef they used reminded me of taco bell beef. It was an ill attempt to create "shredded barbacoa". It came out of a crock pot (wierd) It had an awful aftertaste in it like it like it was poorly prepped shank meat (or the cuts that no one wants) and shouldn't have been used for a burrito, but for a stew instead. I'm glad I only got two table spoons of this meat gulash since it tasted very unpleasant. Had the meat been good though, I would have felt ripped off since the burrito was mostly rice and veggies. The hubby had the cowboy crunch- The chicken by itself is MUCH better than the beef, but still not all that impressed with their odd combinations found in the cowboy burrito. This place is certainly an upgrade from taco hell. I can see how some people may like it, but for the husband and I, we are not returning. Had it been dirt cheap, our expectations would be lower and my review better. We had high hopes. Very dissapointing since it's one less option close to our house. Sad face with a tear.

Right after us, people poured in and the place filled up quickly, so clearly it's doing something right. We ordered a shrimp cocktail ($12) to start, one chorizo taco ($4), one shrimp taco ($4), rice and beans ($6), and an order of chilaquiles with beef, chicken, and a fried egg ($14). We also grabbed a Diet Pepsi ($3) and a mandarin Jarritos ($4). Somewhere along the way we ended up with two chorizo tacos and two shrimp tacos (and were charged for them), but we rolled with it and turned them into decent leftovers. The shrimp cocktail was huge -- served in what I can only describe as a glass milkshake cup. The shrimp themselves were good-sized, but it was mostly red sauce, so the dramatic presentation felt a little unnecessary. The shrimp taco was the standout -- really tasty and well-balanced. The chorizo taco was good flavor-wise but on the dry side and could have used some kind of sauce to help it along. Adventure Buddy was very happy with the chilaquiles, which came loaded with beef, chicken, and a fried egg. He demolished most of it, leaving zero leftovers and no regrets. The staff were friendly and kind and did their best to stay attentive as the restaurant got busier. All-in, after tip, we spent around $70 for a Friday night date night. That felt a little high for what we ordered, but the extra tacos did give us leftovers, so that helped soften the blow. Bottom line: this is a solid Mexican restaurant. Would I go out of my way to eat here? No. If I was in the area and craving Mexican food, would I come back? Sure. Nothing to shout from the rooftops about, but also nothing to complain about -- average, fine, and perfectly serviceable. Bonus points for plentiful free parking, since it's located in a strip mall.

I was the only diner in the place, which honestly made me feel like I had just rented out a private pizza studio. Bonus: plenty of free parking right out front because it's tucked into a little strip mall. Before I even ordered, the menu caught my attention--an eclectic mashup of pizza and tacos, with breakfast versions of both served all day long. It's honestly the kind of menu you'd expect to stumble upon in a dream where the universe says, "Go ahead, choose joy." I originally planned to be "responsible" and just grab a slice to test the waters, but they didn't have any slices ready and would've had to make an entire pizza just for me. That felt like a sign from the Universe to stop lying to myself. If they were firing up the oven anyway, why not go big? So I took the cosmic hint and ordered their semi-Instagram-famous Mexican Breakfast Pizza: eggs, chorizo, mozzarella, cheddar... a 10" "personal" pizza (their wording, not mine) for $14. Twist my arm. Drinks live in the cooler by the door and you just grab whatever you want and pay at the end. As I was mid-debate between soda and water, the guy behind the counter popped out from behind the curtain and said, "Hey, since you're getting a breakfast pizza, if you want juice... orange, cranberry, apple... you can have it!" Sir. Apple juice is basically the secret key to my heart. SOLD. He also mentioned they have games and coloring books available--apparently dominoes is the crowd favorite here. Unexpected and charming. A little sign on my table caught my eye: "If you love it, leave a nice review." Challenge accepted. This place was already earning every star. Placed my order at 5:02, snagged a seat by the window to watch the sunset fade and the traffic chaos whirl by. The sign on the wall said "GOOD vibes, GREAT flavors," and let me tell you: an accurate mission statement. At 5:20, my pizza emerged in all its glory--and it. was. stunning. The crust hit that sweet middle ground between thin and deep dish: sturdy, doughy, beautifully crisped on the edges, and wonderfully yeasty. The eggs-to-cheese ratio was perfection, and the chorizo? A knockout. Spicy, chunky, far more personality than the usual breakfast-pizza sausage situation. I ate 1.5 slices and boxed up the rest, which will easily feed me for another three days because, yes, I believe in leftovers as a lifestyle. As I was leaving, the man behind the counter introduced himself--Sebastian--and he had been nothing but attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. Service like that sticks with you. Total damage: $22.26 including tip. For great food, even better service, and days of leftovers? That's what I call winning. I'll definitely be back--probably at another totally normal breakfast hour.

Warning to Vegetarians, vegans, & all dietary restrictions !!!…read more I hate to write a negative review for this restaurant. My husband & i have eaten here many times with friends & loved it. However, this is the second time I have had chicken or beef in my fajitas (specified vegetarian). We picked up an order tonight after traveling back into town. I ordered fajitas. Unfortunately, there was steak in my food & all of the toppings for fajitas were not included in the order (rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, etc.) despite paying extra for these. I also want to warn that the refried beans are not vegetarian (which is pretty normal). They do have vegetarian beans, you just need to specifically recommend them. For anyone veg or vegan, you know this can really ruin an evening- specifically on a takeout order when there isn't much you can do once you get home. El Sol has great food, margs, and a lovely vibe. For meat eaters, I 100% recommend. All others with restrictions, please be overly specific to a waiter or on a togo order. We will definitely return, but I will be much more cautious. Maybe just get margs with chips & salsa next time

The chips come out PIPING HOT and are fresh fried, as they should be, but seems to be rare for Mexican restaurants in the area these days... the salsa is incredibly good. It is a touch spicy with a little sweetness, but we loved the flavor. The first basket is free (also not always the norm around here) and a second basket is only $1.50 more - that's amazing! We also got a queso con chorizo to share and the small size was PLENTY. We both decided on taco platters and that was a great choice - we got to try a bunch of meats that way. The al pastor was amazing, as was the carne asada, carnitas, and shrimp taco. The tacos were topped with an amazing guacamole sauce. I got corn tortilla tacos and they were perfectly griddled and warm. My husband enjoyed his flour tortilla tacos. The rice and beans were fresh and hot and delicious too. Food came out quick and exactly as we ordered, even with some modifications! We didn't love the additional red sauce in the squirt bottle that you can add to your food, but the salsa verde in the squirt bottle was good. I ordered an extra salsa to add to my tacos instead. For drinks, there's agua frescas and an extensive soda selection in a case to choose from. My husband was happy to see Mexican Coke. Service was great! I made my order almost in no time for the Mole Poblano; my wife ordered Pechuga en Crema con Champiñones. The food came out in about 10 minutes; both dishes came with 4-5 tortillas. Now, the long-awaited mole sauce -- thick, dark, and complex. I watched a YouTube video on how it's typically made, so I had a level of respect and appreciation for it. It tasted like the popular five-spice bean curd jerky Asian snack -- bold and strong. I liked it very much. My wife's cream chicken, while moist, was bland in comparison. If you're like me, you'd be a bit confused when the bill came. The amounts were different from what the menu showed. Inside, the vibe is warm and festive: colorful artwork, low-top tables, a lively bar stocked with tequilas, and gorgeous Moravian star lights glowing overhead. The menu is extensive -- everything from tacos and burritos to rice bowls, full entrées, and massive multi-person feasts served in lava rock molcajetes. Most dishes land around $20, or you can snag tacos individually for $5.50. We started with the Mexican Seafood Dip and wow... game changer. Shrimp, bay scallops, crab, and mushrooms all swimming in a red tomatillo sauce, baked under a gooey blanket of cheese, and served with chips. Unlike so many "seafood" dips that are 90% cheese, El Sol delivers with generous amounts of actual seafood. It was piping hot, hearty, and plentiful -- enough that we happily took leftovers home. For mains, I went with a Birria Taco (plus a trusty Diet Coke). Juicy, cheesy, crispy perfection -- I could've polished off three more but restrained myself. Adventure Buddy chose Camarones A La Diabla -- jumbo Gulf shrimp and mushrooms in a three-chile sauce. Bright red, spicy but not overpowering, and loaded with shrimp that were actually jumbo. Service was attentive and friendly, and the noise level low enough for both conversation and even a quick phone call.
