Fiesta Mexico is one of our standbys. My daughter has been eating here since she was a little and always request that we go there. You were always greeted quickly with chips and salsa and it doesn't take very long for your food to come. I was there at lunch on a Saturday and we were able to order off the lunch menu. I ordered the shrimp fajitas. It came with a side of rice and a salad, but I was offered rice and beans, but I chose the rice with the salad. My family member ordered a single relleno and was satisfied with her meal. The atmosphere is fun and lively and I feel that every time just brings me back to good reliable, hard-working people.

This place was recommended a while back and we finally decided to give it a shot - so glad we did! The place is absolutely beautiful on the inside! The lively colors, decorations, and music made me feel like I was at my grandma's house. The food and drinks... delicious! The side table guacamole is a must for my husband. We have been here twice already and both our servers were amazing and attentive. Totally recommend!

Went with the work team to lunch and felt like I was in EPCOT. The inside vibe is great and way bigger than you would expect from the outside. Our server was super attentive and kept the drink cups full and refreshed our chips and salsa. I had a torta with birria as my entre, which came with french fries and I really enjoyed it. It was a perfect portion size for lunch. My boss had the special platter or something like that and it was a mountain of food, basically served on a dish the size of a turkey platter. I wish I'd had a margarita, but it was a work lunch! Overall, this place was solid. I will definitely be going back to see what the dining room looks like with the lights turned on.

Ambiance is great, well decorated and perfect music and service was great. Dish I ordered was just ok. I ordered Carne Asada, not realizing the dish only comes with beans. Most dinners come with both beans and rice. Carne Asada meat was extremely thin and not the thicker normal skirt steak or flank steak I expected. Not a bad place but will try something else next time. Food, 3 stars....ambiance and service 4

This large (bigger than it appears from the outside) Mexican eatery is located off Paxton Steet and near Eisenhower Blvd. Fiesta Mexico has a large menu with all the usual entrees you'd expect. I ordered chicken enchiladas, which were fresh and tasty but not noteworthy. What was noteworthy, however, was the service. The staff waa fast and friendly; water, drinks, chips/salsa, and entrees were all brought promptly. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Fiesta Mexico is a solid option for Mexican food in the Harrisburg area.

Stopped in a few times with my mom and sister. I'm more of a tex-mex fan but was pleasantly surprised by their selections. They have classic burritos, tacos, nachos, etc for those that might be new or sensitive to Mexican or spicy food. There's also a selection of various dishes depending on your meat or spice preference. I usually go with the open burrito bowl or one of the nacho dishes. My mom and sister usually order enchilada or fajita dishes. The servers are always pleasant and check in to see if you need anything. They give you free chips with a medium salsa to enjoy before your entrée or appetizer arrives. I like to order their guac dip as well to dip the chips in. Décor is festive with Mexican/South American flare and the large windows let in plenty of natural light if you dine during the day. Price wise its on par with Chipotle or other Tex Mex fast food but this is more authentic and flavorful!

The service was amazing, we got three different types of food, the fajitas were steaming with incredible flavor, the chipotle chicken burrito was delicious and the chipotle sauce was different but in a good way! The atmosphere was warm and felt like we are in Mexico!

Still a nice restaurant with good service but the food flavor and quality seem to be slipping, as is the case with all the restaurants in the El Rodeo family. I'll be revising all other reviews to reflect this unfortunate reality. Just not the same anymore...

3.5. Great value. Is this the best Mexican food I've had? No. But on a business trip in Harrisburg, we found it decent and one of the least expensive dinners out in a long time. The star of the show: ordering the fresh guacamole to be made table side. That with chips was full of flavor and could have been dinner for me. I had two enchiladas: one chicken, one spinach. OK. Rice and beans ok. I like margaritas that are less sugary these days, more limey. Ones featuring great tequila. These are the big sugary style--Mexican restaurant chain style. They are what they are. Mine was blue! My friend had the daily special served in a gigantic bowl...bordering on silly. Lots of entrees under $15. We left filled up.

The restaurant looked really beautiful inside but i took some food to go. I got the taco salad while finishing Wednesday on Netflix. Listen the meet was soo good, with the lettuce, tomato and crema on top- it was exactly what I was looking for-- a little bit of salad and nutritious food with a little bit of sin -- the taco shell

10/10 recommend Fiesta Mexico! Their margaritas and food are to DIE for! This restaurant had a Texan girl smiling from ear to ear! Service, food, and ambiance all 10/10!!!!

Fiesta Mexico! What a great spot. Margaritas were delicious, San Jose Burrito was divine. And walking distance from many hotels. My son had the crab quesadillas and loved it as well. Chips and salsa served at sitting. Perfect Mexican flare restaurant in Harrisburg.

The restaurant itself had a few tables, a frozen ice cream box, video chance games, a huge rack of phone cards and several pictures decorating the walls. Most of the pictures depicted scenes from mexico, such as poncho villa, zapata, rural life, cows, etc... one of the walls was covered in mirrors and had a sombrero hanging on it. They have standard tacos at 2.50 apiece, chicken, beef or pork. We tried several of them. There was also a Torta for 8.50 that was pretty decent. There was some type of hot sauce (Valentina brand) here that that we put on it made it significantly better. The helado de fresa or strawberry ice cream ($1.50) balanced it out. We also had the Bistek Ranchero: it came with 6 yellow corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, beans, rice & lots of beef, mixed with red pepper. That cost 14.00 pretty decent if you ask me. What makes this place stand out in my opinion is the " tostada ceviche de camaron " or lime marinaded seafood salad on a deep fried corn tortilla. This item is occasionally also available at competitors but not nearly as good. 5 Stars, incredible food!

One thing that immediately caught my attention was the décor. Our table featured beautiful images representing Mexican heritage, and although I didn't get a chance to take a picture, the chairs also had some very nice carved details that added to the atmosphere. After ordering our drinks, everyone decided on lunch. My wife ordered the Taquitos along with a side of cheese dip, I had the Perfect Portion Taco, and our friends shared the Carnitas Platter. While waiting for our meals, we enjoyed the complimentary warm chips and fresh salsa. The chips were nice and warm, and the salsa had excellent flavor. When our meals arrived, everything looked fresh and appetizing. We all enjoyed our food, and everyone left satisfied with their meal. Overall, we had a very pleasant lunch. The friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and good food made for an enjoyable experience. Before we even left, we were already saying that the next time we're in town, we'll have to stop back for another meal. I will still remember the time that I was so excited and felt a bliss of the taste of their Birria tacos as well as many of their signature dishes, such as the yucca and chicharron. However, if this were to be true, it's such a shame that a place like this would take so much advantage on people like that, specifically their employees. Fortunately, there are definitely other places that now do birria tacos as well as been noted for bringing authentic Mexican cuisine in the Harrisburg area (some even cheaper and taste better than this place). But until they get their act together, I cannot support a place that does not support other people.

Inside, the vibe is warm and festive: colorful artwork, low-top tables, a lively bar stocked with tequilas, and gorgeous Moravian star lights glowing overhead. The menu is extensive -- everything from tacos and burritos to rice bowls, full entrées, and massive multi-person feasts served in lava rock molcajetes. Most dishes land around $20, or you can snag tacos individually for $5.50. We started with the Mexican Seafood Dip and wow... game changer. Shrimp, bay scallops, crab, and mushrooms all swimming in a red tomatillo sauce, baked under a gooey blanket of cheese, and served with chips. Unlike so many "seafood" dips that are 90% cheese, El Sol delivers with generous amounts of actual seafood. It was piping hot, hearty, and plentiful -- enough that we happily took leftovers home. For mains, I went with a Birria Taco (plus a trusty Diet Coke). Juicy, cheesy, crispy perfection -- I could've polished off three more but restrained myself. Adventure Buddy chose Camarones A La Diabla -- jumbo Gulf shrimp and mushrooms in a three-chile sauce. Bright red, spicy but not overpowering, and loaded with shrimp that were actually jumbo. He was a happy camper. Our total came to $62 with tip, which felt fair for the quality and portions. Service was attentive and friendly, and the noise level low enough for both conversation and even a quick phone call. Parking is the usual downtown Harrisburg scene -- no on-site lot, but free street parking after 5 and garages nearby make it easy enough. Bottom line: great food, colorful atmosphere, and a menu that's begging us to come back. Next time, I'm eyeing one of those lava rock molcajetes.
