We had a team dinner here and I was not disappointed. It is BYOY, just an FYI. We ordered queso and had a special request to have it without anything in it and they were able to accommodate us. The service was friendly and the food was very good!

They had great food, reasonable prices, more authentic fare, and nice service. I ordered at the counter and they brought it out to my table. Hope to return soon. Not a romantic place, but standard comfortable dining space. Can probably get loud if crowded but I was there off-hours,

This place is awesome! Their prices are very low and the food is really tasty. Highly recommend the queso con chorizo, so good! Service was polite and quick and the setting is a short walk off prince street. Can't say enough good things about the people and place, if you like authentic Mexican this place is sure to be your new hangout!

Much better experience! Server was very attentive this time. Restaurant was full and food was served in a timely manner. I ended up ordering the same thing I had last time. Nachos were exactly the same. Taco salad was better. Shell was much less greasy. I enjoy the verde sauce, the hot sauce is good too. My fiancé had all positive feedback of his enchilada. Reasonably priced too. Nachos and both meals for $24.

    Chips and house made guac!

So we stopped in for dinner last night upon a recommendation from a friend. We started out with the house made guac and it was delicious. For the price of it, it was absolutely worth it! We each ordered two tacos and a tamale. Honestly I thought I'd still be hungry and halfway through the second taco, I hit the wall! We each ordered the El Mexicana taco, one with beef and one with carnitas. It has cactus on it, which I've never had and it had me wanting more. It does say that it comes with potatoes. What surprise it was when the potatoes were French fries. I've never had a taco with fries in and it I'd eat 10 more of them (if only they weren't so filling). I then ordered the maiz con rajas taco, which was just yummy. Rice, cheese, and corn, oh my. The spouse ordered the arroz l, frijoles con queso - she enjoyed it. We also got the veggie tamale and I was so full and made my self push through eating it. These tacos will fill you up and you will want more. They also bring our 3 salsas for you. A mild, a green tomatillo salsa, and a hot salsa. I love hot so I was like "watch this". It doesn't taste hot at first and then it was "oh baby Jesus" hot, but in a good way. I put all of them on my tacos and tamale. This place was so good and we can't wait to come back to "eat our way through the menu"

Really , really good tacos I can honestly say I've never had a Bad experience. I come here frequently because of it being so close to my shop. The 2 young men running the counter are always super friendly and attentive. The salsa verde and mild/hot sauces are a win. And they always have my lime Mexican soda on deck. 5 stars from me. Highly recommended.

I've been eating here for many years. Great taco options, delicious guacamole, and the mole enchiladas are excellent.

Food is bland. Hardly any flavor. Man at counter was not very nice. Will not be back because of him. Told him "you bitch too much".

5 Stars - Something Truly Special…read more This place is something special. A friend of mine told me about it -- and he is not easy to impress when it comes to restaurants. He's usually the guy who finds something to critique. So when he described this place as "incredible," "authentic," "unbelievable," and "special," I honestly couldn't believe how highly he was praising it. Then I went. I was absolutely blown away. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt warm and welcoming. The service wasn't just good -- it was genuine. The staff treated me like family. They kept bringing out dishes for me to try, excited to share their food. I didn't even pay for some of it -- and I actually insisted on paying because it was just too good not to. (And yes... I wanted more.) The food? Incredible. Authentic Honduran cooking that completely won me over. I'm from New York City, where you're spoiled with diversity and world-class restaurants on every corner. Lancaster has some solid spots, but this? This competes with -- and honestly beats -- many places I've had in NYC. I genuinely couldn't believe it. The atmosphere was festive, vibrant, and full of heart. You can tell this isn't just a business -- it's pride, culture, and passion on a plate. Give this place your money. They deserve every cent. The servers are top-notch, the food is unforgettable, and the experience feels personal. They've earned a loyal customer. I'll be back -- many times.

This spot has had a lot of turnover and I don't quite know why. It's just down the street from one…read moreof the busiest slice and beer places...that being said we were finally hearing good things about the food here and a quick survey of the menu showed some gluten free options. I didn't see an alcohol menu so I took a chance and grabbed a bottle of wine to take along. It was busy enough on a Friday evening but not a full restaurant. Too busy for one server doing all front of house duties though. I don't think this restaurant or the last occupant have done anything to the interior space although there were less tables in the lower dining room. The menu is large but not descriptive. On a day when the server isn't getting slammed I get the feeling that he'd love to offer verbal descriptions but during our visit it was not going to happen. Anyway, on to the food which was all quite good. The sauces were the star for me. Birria empanadas (GF) were excellent. That Birria consommé was worth the entire trip! The carnitas tacos were flavorful with generous portions. The mofongo platter was huge. Needless to say, we have enough leftovers for another few meals. It's worth a visit.
