Good Burrito - Burrito bowl - Mexican Near Me - Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Rice is always hard and under cooked. Food was cold and overpriced. Would not recommend

This place sucks ass. I ordered a bowl for delivery. I was told about 30 to 35 minutes. They keep moving the time and finally an hour after ordering they cancelled the order. I will never give these a-holes any business. They sure showed their true colors. read more

Very average taste and bland overall. They have a chipotle like style but with limited options and bland meats, I was very underwhelmed by this place. The service is great and the place is clean. They have unique sauces but not sure what these bowls are missing. I got the burrito bowl twice and added almost every option to my bowl but it ended up being very flavorless both times. The steak is good but nothing compared to chipotle steak. The food is. Still healthy , I just can't get it to taste good. read more

With chipotle style ordering but much better and fresher ingredients, Good Burrito is our go to for burritos and bowls. We typically order online and go pick it up as we're only a few min away. Tried delivery a few times but that takes a good hour so we've stopped using that. Staff is always friendly when we stop in to get our orders. Décor is urban/industrial feel, very unique and there is parking across the street or next to Endzone bar a few houses down. Just remember to put a nickel or dime in the meters so you avoid a ticket. Food has been hit and miss recently. My order is always tasty but sometimes missing an ingredient or got the wrong meat. I typically order a vegetarian burrito and once got pulled pork on accident. Discovered this once we were home and digging in so my husband took the order back and they remade it, apologizing as they did. Not a huge deal for me as I'm not a strict vegetarian, I just like veggie burritos but I could see how that would be a problem for someone with dietary restrictions. Husband's bowl was also missing chicken one time but it wasn't enough for him to go back and get it fixed. If you do have dietary restrictions I would order in person to make sure it's made correctly. read more

The burrito is enough to feed an army. Tastes good too, better than fast food not as good has authentic. The four stars is because the burrito wasn't hot when we picked it up. read more

Ordered two burritos. Both mine and my sons were pretty much void of any sauce. Both were dry. They have been better in the past. I will not be ordering take out from them again. read more

Food was very mediocre. They were out of a lot of items and the veggies were only onions, beans were super runny. I would not come here again. Staff was nice and friendly read more

I came into the Elizabethtown establishment to be very disappointed. I do not live in the area, and was there 18 months ago, and really enjoyed the food and service. This visit was not the same. There was no one at the counter or anyone to greet me. When someone did appear from the back the service was lacking. Especially, when I asked about the meats offered. All the meats seemed very dry and were stirred and looked somewhat better. I ordered a large burrito in a bowl with the wrap on the side. I wanted queso on the side, which also was stirred to look better. This was a dry sticky mess. Also, a giant blob of cheese when I went to eat it. Not smooth and dripping like I was expecting. When I paid, I was told I'd be charged for the wrap. Doesn't a burrito include a wrap? The meat was very dry, as well as the beans. This entire experience was sad. Food and service both poor. I will send you the receipt for date and time if need be. Hopefully you can address these issues with your staff and get back to great place I remember. read more

This might be the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Tastes like it has been sitting there for 24 hours. Dry and no taste. Queso tasted like fake kiddy cheese sauce. Please save yourself the time and money and go to anywhere else. read more

the burrito bowl was bland and I do not recommend. I've had their food before and it is wasn't good the last time either.15$ for a burrito bowl is crazy and it looks like the toppings came from a can. It was also cold when i got it. read more

Good Burrito - Mexican Near Me - Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

I used to go here quite a bit. But a recent visit and ensuing diarrhea and poor service has changed my mind. Use caution. Young servers would rather talk to their friends that come into the store than give you their attention when waiting on you at the counter. Never seems to be an adult manager present. Real shame. I have a 3 dollar of coupon to use before the end of May and just don't see myself using it. read more

First time trying this restaurant. I ordered a Chicken bowl with brown rice, pinto beans and mango habanero salsa. That was some of the best chicken I've ever had besides me making it myself. The salsa had a nice little bite to it heat wise. It could definitely be hotter for my liking, but overall a great meal for lunch. When I am in Elizabethtown again I will definitely be stopping in to grab a bite to eat. read more

Good Burrito is a Chipotle with better service and a nicer interior. It's located a short walk off main street and is easy to find. Ordering is very Chipotle like when selecting ingredients, with a stronger emphasis on Fajita Veggies and BBQ sauces. Ordered a Chicken Burrito Bowl with Brown Rice, Cheese, Mild Pico, and Pinto Beans. Size of the bowl was ok, and everything tasted fine. Serves fountain Pepsi products, plus a variety of bottled drinks. Interior is much nicer than a Chipotle and was very clean. Ceiling was uniquely decorated with shipping pallets, giving the whole place a cool vibe. Bathrooms were also spotless. Overall, Good Burrito is worth a stop. read more

Unfortunately, as much as I really wanted to like this place I have to give a honest review. I ordered the brisket burrito and had to throw most of it out. The brisket was pretty much all fat and gristle. The meat that was there was extremely tough and wasn't edible. Hopefully this was just an off day, disappointing nonetheless. read more

The steak was well seasoned and had a good bite to it. The grilled onions and peppers were very flavorful; white rice was good, too. My girl friend and I both enjoyed our more than "good burritos". read more

This was my first time at this establishment yesterday, 5/7/2025 around 1pm. I love all and any Mexican food, so it drew me in! It was rather disappointing from the time I walked in the door. Not sure what else to say. The two employees were working on a prior order of 2 or 3 items and seemed to be stressed. No manager or support seem to be present if there was an issue. I placed my order with multiple advance details for the order, as most other burrito shacks ask. I repeated myself multiple times for each item. This may be a training error from management. To no fault of their own - but I do not know this. We eventually made it through the order. I watched the "burrito-ster-es" struggle through wrapping it up and multiple pieces of foil, we finally had a meal! Yeah, so much excitement!! Flavors and contents were all over the place. It was either a bunch of meat, bunch of veggies or a mouthful of guac. Again, seems like a lack of training from the company! The steak was also very stringy, grisly and sorta disgusting like a very cheap cut of chuck, not trimmed at all. Would love to give this place a try in the distant future, but hesitant! I can get the same order: consistently made, fresh, better service @ a Moe's which is a chain. Again, my expectations may have been set to high for " a local antithetic burrito shack. I await to see what they may offer in the future. read more

I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. Nothing had any seasoning. The beans and rice were bland. Cabbage slaw was just sliced cabbage. Guacamole was just mashed avocado. The pineapple salsa was good and the only thing I really tasted. Disappointing. read more

Tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! I will no longer go to Chipotle because I can get a better burrito bowl at this great local spot. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, white rice, "tarnation sauce" (super hot- and AMAZING), cheese, pico, and crushed chips. I loved that they have the option to add crushed chips to a bowl or burrito! And their sauces are delicious. I absolutely loved the tarnation sauce, and the chicken was fresh and delicious. I can't wait to go back to try more delicious options from this place! I also love that a portion of their sales goes to charity. This place is fantastic! read more

Mixed up our order, forgot the guacamole so we had to drive back to GB. Food is meh. Bummed because we wanted to love our Etown option for Mexican food. read more

We always place large to go orders at work. And they always get them right. Food is good and arrives quickly.

Fresh, Quality, Delicious. The only negative thing I can think of is that they raised their prices a little, but so has the rest of the world. With that said though, they have a rewards program that for every $10 spent you get a star, at 10 stars you get a FREE meal! d Definitely a favorite place to eat in a town full of pizza shops! read more

I recently stopped in for lunch takeout while passing through Etown. I ordered the Steak Burrito Bowl ($8.69). While the concept is similar to Chipotle, the taste is a bit different. I like the chunks of meat and fresh ingredients, but everything is in its own covered container, so an employee has to lift each lid if you want to see what you're getting. At least you know it's fresh. I don't know if I could ever make this my replacement for the Big C, but since it's not close by, I don't have to and can still enjoy it occasionally as something different. I'll be back! read more

The bar is set low here in Etown... very few businesses engage in food outside of pizza. Good Burrito has been a rough relationship for me. I really wanted to like our local Mexican place, but in the end you pay $14 for a pinch of meat, some sloshed cheese and lettuce and soggy bread. The meat selection is weird, the cuts make you chew a mushy meat much longer than you'd like. You also inherit a gamble with take out. A simple chicken bowl can result in just a few spoonfuls of rice and tomatos. I'm confused how the workers care so little, and how the prices are so expensive for about 20% less food than chipotle. If I were you I'd drive the extra 10 minutes, spend half as much and get more food at Qdoba or Chipotle. Mediocre food, high price... Good burrito is quite a name and I'm done trying to like you. read more

As good as it gets! Great food... Fresh ingredients, burritos and bowls are packed full.

I struggled with a 3 or 4 star rating on this review, because I feel like I'm pulled in both directions. The burritos here are good, and the food is obviously made with care, so that leans toward a 4 star rating. But I'm always a little disappointed with the taste overall, which leans toward a 3 star rating. At the end of the day, even though I'm stuck with a 3.5 in my heart, I give Good Burrito a 4 star rating because any homemade burrito is better than a boring burger or sub! I've now ordered the steak, chicken, and pork options for my burrito bowls. All the food is cooked correctly, not overdone or undercooked. The sauce options (such as barbecue, and one with citrus) are an interesting addition to the menu and set this place aside from your run of the mill Chipotle/Moe's. However I wish they had some better savory (non-sweet) sauce options. It seems like you can either get a sweet sauce or a kickin' hot sauce option, but not much in between. Maybe I'm wrong, I haven't tried them all. My main issues with these burritos are the use of iceberg lettuce and the choice of shredded cheese they offer. Iceberg is the lowest rung of lettuce and doesn't have any nutritional value at all. Romaine is used at almost all the other similar style burrito places I've been to, and it would be a welcome change. The crunch, the taste, and the nutrients would be a big improvement. The shredded cheese they use seems to be lacking flavor -- I'm not sure if it's the brand, or the style of cheese. The lettuce and cheese together end up giving me the impression of an overall bland taste from the finished product. It's not a bad burrito, just not everything I think it could be. No other similar restaurants in the area leave me with few options, and I am happy to support Good Burrito. I hope they will make a couple of improvements! read more

We love to go to Good Burrito to support local business! Their food is great! We love to get a bowl and a Quesadilla. Service is great, staff are friendly! We prefer to order in person and find their food to be fresh! read more

Very impressed with this place. Better quality than a chipotle. This small contributes to its community and has great food, prices, and people. I often get a bowl here for around 8$ that has extremely fresh ingredients and enough food to feed 2. For under 10$, this place is almost impossible to beat. If you like to support local businesses and love good food, give Good Burrito a try. read more

Always a yummy!! Staff are friendly and fast. Great little burrito shop right in Etown. Good stuff!!

Excellent food and service! Enjoyed the Nachos with Chicken and Queso. Not overly spicy.

Always look forward and enjoy ordering a quesadilla at the Good Burito in Etown! Best Quesadilla's I have ever had!!

Great little place in Elizabethtown PA. Food was very fresh, well prepared and decently portioned. I wish they had a few more salsa or other dressing options than just BBQ, but still well worth the price. Friendly staff, well prepared, though it seems the food could be a tad more seasoned, not really much a gripe though. Overall, if I find myself in the area in the future I'd stop in again! read more

Good Burrito - quesadilla w/white rice, chicken, salsa, black beans, lettuce, cilantro and corn - Mexican Near Me - Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

I wish I could love this place. The idea is fantastic, with every purchase they donate money to a specific cause. I think this is fantastic and should be more of a business model for others. I hate to say this, I really did not enjoy my meal. It tasted like nothing had any spices added. Yes, you have the option to douse it in sugar laden sauce - essentially junking up an previously healthy meal, but I asked the preparer to put a small amount of the habanero sauce on it. Splash splash splash... sigh. And now it's inedible. So the parts that didn't just taste like habanero only, we're just unflavored limp veggies and (what tasted like) straight from the can beans. read more

I love this place! They do great for the community and their burritos are amazing. The sauces that you can put on your bowls are one of a kind too which you can't get at chipotle or many fast burrito places. ( I get Carolina Barbecue!) All around my favorite place in town to get food read more

Made an online order. After receiving both text and email confirmation that the order was paid for and processed, I arrived at Good Burrito just prior to the selected pick up time and Sorry we don't have your order. I planned my travels to pick up these sandwiches and get my kid to his practice 20 minutes away at the Nook. I didn't have time to wait for them to make the order so I was refunded and I moved on. I will say outside of the no food failure, staff was very pleasant and apologized for the oversight. I will give them a shot again and see if there are any improvements. read more

We were looking to grab a quick late lunch after visiting Elizabethtown College and found this place. It was quiet except for quite a few takeout orders. The food was really good.
