We were looking to try a different Mexican restaurant in our area, so we decided to DoorDash from here. I will say things were pretty pricey compared to other places in our area, and side portions were small. I decided on their bowl with braised beef (extra $2) - it was definitely packed and had good flavor. The beans stood out because they weren't mashed but flavorful. The guacamole and chips were $9 - for a 2oz cup , and you could tell it wasn't made fresh that day as it was already turning color . The cheeses potatoes were just alright, they weren't seasoned and missing the scallions. Elote salad was pretty good - for my first try. Reading from other reviews, there is only outdoor seating and it's kiosk style ordering inside. Maybe next time will dine there. read more

Not a great experience for the 2nd time, there won't be a 3rd. Taco meat was cold, red sauce on the side was not included and the carry out container lid ripped before it was even bagged so it wasn't staying closed. As you walk in you place your order then head outside while your order is being prepared, they have a ton of outdoor picnic tables to choose from and had music playing- (my daughter enjoyed dancing to it). My husband got the birria tacos and the consúme was good but could have been a little bit more flavorful and the actual tacos weren't as crispy as I like but I'd still say at least 6/10- $17 pricey for me. I got the mixto of traditional tacos -chicken, steak and pork they were delicious and came with a good amount of meat in each and two types of sauces. We did get the chips and guacamole and the chips were HOMEMADE (I did see a previous post of bagged chips) these were definitely fresh fried corn tortillas and the guacamole was also fresh and delicious. My daughter enjoyed her kids meal taco which was the best deal 7.50 for a taco, rice and beans and apple juice. The customer service was great they were very nice and quick! Menus could use a bit more description- I couldn't find out what "Los Angeles" style tacos meant. I ended up getting the traditional style tacos with chicken. This was a cool taco spot! The atmosphere is wonderful-- it's all outdoor seating with music playing through speakers, artistic graffiti, and a stage which I'm assuming is used for live music. I'd give the ambiance a 4.5. The service was good! It's really all do-it-yourself. There's tablets to order on and then you'll get a text when your food is ready to pick up at the window. I'd give the service a 4 since we really didn't interact with anyone. The food was okay. The meat was cooked and seasoned very well, but the traditional pollo tacos tasted exactly like sloppy Joe's and didn't taste very traditional at all. They weren't bad, just not what I was expecting and hoping for. There were no complaints for the carne asada tacos. The street corn style tortillas were great! The guacamole was very good and so was the salsa, but the sticker on top of the salsa container said that it was over a week old. They gave us a new one when asked, though. The chips were not fresh or homemade, they came in a name-brand chip bag and were kind of stale. The guava Fresca drink was delicious! I would give the food a 3. This place was recommended by some locals and so we tried it out... however having grown up in SoCal right next to the border I can say that this wasn't exactly the most authentic Mexican food and certainly the Cali burrito wasn't like any I've ever had in Cali but it was flavorful, just different. There was supposed to be fries in it but my burrito didn't have any at all. I also tried the Eloté salad which was interesting and very flavorful but I didn't personally enjoy the amount of sauce the corn was in but everyone else thought it was really good. A year ago I would have left a very different review. The first couple of times We got the tacos, birria tacos, queso, and guac. And we were impressed by everything but the guac - it's definitely made and stored in advance IF they make it there. We just went again and the chips are store bought, the cheese is the same nacho cheese from a roller rink and the guac is still not great. We have tried everything on the menu at least once, including most of their homemade drinks. The specials are always part of our order. Traditional tacos are my fav with side of guacamole and chips. Food is fresh and delicious and the owner, Ethan, is focused on quality food and service, cutting back on hours to make that possible. He comes out to check on his customers and make everyone feel welcome. The outdoor setting is great with plenty of room to social distance. We're looking forward to live music soon. At first glance this place looks great but I surprisingly disappointed. I ordered a burrito but was not told the protein options and was surprised when I received red meat which I don't eat. When i went inside the girl was kind enough to not have mentioned a choice in protein and decided I needed to pay for another $13 burrito. No apologies, no care in the world. This was our first time here- and we will most definitely be back! I had the traditional taco with 3 different meats, I really enjoyed them with the green salsa. My mom had the ramen- very delicious and served in a very large container. My fiancé had the burrito- he wasn't a fan of it ( he isn't a big Mexican food kind-of-person) but loved the nachos- he ordered them with Carne Asada & pollo. There were 4 of us and 2 of us loved it and 2 of us thought it was meh. I was on the side of meh. The big issue was over-seasoning. Everything was incredibly salty, except the guacamole which actually needed some. There were occasionally what tasted like clumps of seasoning and salt that weren't fully incorporated into the meat. The corn salad stuff, however, was pretty spot on. One suggestion would be to serve the filling for the tacos separately in the to fo boxes so the tacos don't saturate and fall apart.
