    Tania's Combination Platter
    Eric K.

2nd visit in 2 months - they knocked it outta' the park both times! Both times I've ordered one of their combination platters in order to sample a little bit of everything - not one thing to complain about. Food was really tasty & not too heavy, the staff is friendly, & the food comes out quickly. Tania's is located in a nondescript little shopping center just off of US 30 a.k.a. the Lincoln Highway - the front of the restaurant is a small food store...but you're in the right place - just walk to the back to the relatively small seating area. This restaurant truly qualifies as a hidden gem - if you're in the mood for some good Mexican food in Gettysburg, Tania's is right for you!

Wow. Some of the best restaurants are small, plain and unassuming, and this place is no exception. We were visiting the area and had a hankering for Mexican food and the reviews here were good so we took a shot. So glad we did. You walk into a small storefront with lots of dried peppers, specialty items and drinks. Walk through and you hit the dining room. A true family restaurant, the staff were all sharing a meal but quickly seated us and made us feel right at home. The food was terrific, the mole sauce was some of the best I've had, and the tacos were authentic. Definitely check it out!

Outstanding little restaurant in back of Mexican grocery. There are only 10 tables, I am first here on Saturday night 5:30. 4 more table fill by 5:45, I'm the only non-Spanish speaker in the room. Oh well, menu is translated. Mushroom quesadilla served in corn tortilla instead of wheat I am used to. The appetizer chips fresh and crispy with wonderful home made salsa. Good salsa usually tells the tale of the entrees to come and chicken chimichanga was also excellent, shredded meat moist and flavorful. Service, prices excellent. But no beer, BYOB. I'll be back

    Authentically delicious Mexican!

What a wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant. So often "Mexican" means Mexican food that has been Americanized, but not here. The food was delicious, especially the Tamale which was a real "cooked in a corn husk" Mexican style tamale! This was our first time and we will be back!

This is the best REAL Mexican food I have had since leaving San Diego! Fast service. Fresh, spicy, and everything you look for in Mexican food. I had the Burrito Mexicano delish, and my husband had the Beef Chimichanga. They are even open for breakfast. The restaurant is inside of a Mexican market. It has a real South of the Boarder feel with home cooking. I highly recommend this place.

This place was ok. We have had better Mexican food and better service. If I had to recommend one item from the menu would be the nachos, they were the best part of our meal. The environment is kind of cool, in the back of a Mexican grocery store that the kids found fun and interesting ( we ended up buying some items out curiosity). The girl that waited on us was fine, although it was awkward as her and her family were watching TV ( Spanish show) very loudly and eating their lunch at the table next to us. We will not be returning here.

The amazing tripe tacos! Being adventurous at Tania's rewards you well!

This place. Oh man, this place. I've been twice now and each time I'm absolutely amazed at the taste of the food, quantity, and price. The atmosphere is great and homey, and the staff are all really nice. I've had their salsa verde tamales (amazing), refried beans (yum), and the spicy pulled chicken quesadilla (delicious). I'm going back tonight and hopefully will work up the courage to try the tripe tacos!

We had a very solid, authentic meal here. The service was pleasant, it was a mellow atmosphere. It was the best meal we had in Gettysburg.

It's an okay place. I had some tacos de carne asada but the meat was too burnt for me to enjoy it.

Outstanding food, atmosphere and service! Does not look like much from the outside but don't let that keep you from dining there.

I was greeted as I was approaching the counter. I asked a few questions about the menu and was answered on all my inquiries. I ordered 2 meals, and paid. Most Mexican Restaurants I have been to(more than my share) cook the what would be atleast the main item of the meal(in my case both were shrimp) fresh. *Side Note, this may be the reason I've seen other reviews complaining of waiting.* I personally am happy to wait for the quality and flavor of my order/food. During this waiting time, although busy as they were the gentleman that took my order made firmly, kind small talk, ending with my order being ready and wish me a Happy Holiday/ Merry Christmas. My family got home(we only live in town) and sat and totally enjoyed our food. Everything was delicious. I haven't an unkind word or any complaints what- so- ever. I would recommend Fiesta Mexican Grill to all. It was a totally enjoyable expirence start to finish. Cheers.

Pros: What a nice surprise. The food is made to order so took awhile but the result was lots of well flavored carnitas topping a tostada that was flourished with an avocado slice. Sour cream, cucumber and lime slices were presented on the side. I asked for hot salsa and was accommodated. Cons: horchata tasted powdery. Hard pass. I asked for a water cup and was told 'no.' The cashier pointed at the bottled water that I could purchase in the case. The Tortilla in the tostada could have been fried more to make it easier to bite into and get a clean bite- I was tearing it apart so a few more moments in the frier would have made it crispier. During my wait I saw food coming out that looked very good. Color me surprised! 3.5 stars.

It was $60 something dollars for a chimichanga, a burrito, and a side of guac. which they said was the lg size but it was a very small cup. I had also wanted my chimichanga smothered in queso and idr if it had came like that already but I wanted to make sure my husband asked for it when he ordered. Tell me why they poured the cheese into the container and then put my chimichanga on top of the cheese instead of the other way around, they also added another cup of cheese that they charged us for when we didn't even ask for it. It takes no time to explain and confirm a customers order instead of just adding things to peoples bills without consideration for their wallet or preferences. Then these places wanna throw a tip screen in your face after doing the bare minimum, like nah. I just paid $60 for a couple burritos and small cup of guac, take it out of that. Anyway, I'm sure we will be back but now I wont be able to relax and with def be asking more questions and being more specific.
