First, he thought the home he was inspecting resided in Pennsylvania, even though he drove there from Connecticut. Second, during the inspection he indicated that a grading issue may be present on the gravel terminating from a concrete patio roughly 13' x 30' in the back of the house. He did not take the time to see if that enormous patio was graded away from the house however. Mind you I am out of town and only his team and my realtor were present. Third,, when he was asked to go back to the house to see if the patio is graded correctly, he said he would go, but did not do it. He then just uploaded more pictures to the home inspection report that were taken at the time of the inspection. He indicated to my realtor that he had gone to the house and also told her he contacted me to update me, but I was unavailable. He in fact did not call me, most likely because he did not do what he said he would. He then left for vacation and I had to get my cousin, who lives near by, to determine if the patio is sloped away from the house in order to meet the deadline to negotiate. Run away from this business as fast as your feet will carry you. They clearly do not take the time to be thorough or trustworthy and with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line it would be to your own detriment to hire them.
