We've used Lauretti plumbing twice now, and have them scheduled to come out for another job too…read more We'll continue to use them for any plumbing needs in the future. Both Mike and Kyle are very professional, trustworthy, and know what they're doing. Mike listens to what you want to have done, provides feedback, and does exactly what you want, which is such an amazing quality that's hard to find with anyone you hire for anything these days. Above all, Mike's workmanship is amazing and his pricing is very fair. We have been very happy with the three major jobs he's done on those 2 visits - two of which were completely messed up and caused by others we had hired before we found Lauretti plumbing. You never look forward to having a plumbing related problem, but it's wonderful to know there's someone we can trust when we do!

My Uncle used to take care of our family when he was alive & help us with whatever our plumbing &…read moregas needs were at that time. Since he passed in 2018 we lost that connection & had to fend for ourselves. Steve(n?), one of the owners, took care of my family's leaking toilet issue, removed the rusted 60+ year old, cast iron "J" pipe & installed a PVC pipe. We needed the subfloor replaced around where the flange was because the last bathroom remodel some worker was not watching & cut through the subfloor making it weak. As far as plumbing or any other sourced work goes, you-get-what-you-pay-for. He was not the least expensive plumber in the Bristol, Connecticut area. But what you are paying for is their experience & being a family run business & his reviews in several areas being 4.5/5, on average, I went with them.... Hope this helps. Cheers!

Travis has come through for us many times over two houses. He's done everything from installing…read morewater for a laundry area in a basement, fixing a bathroom sink issue, kitchen remodel, follow up on a home inspection, clogged toilet, and installation of an on-demand hot water tank. I would have also had him do a second tank for for my MIL's apartment but he wasn't available because he was attending a national plumbing conference. ( I like that he continues to keep himself educated about what is going on in his field.) Since I had to go with someone else, he told me exactly what to ask for and what to expect to pay including a part that would extend the life of my new hot water tank. The company I went with initially didn't want me to add that part to the sale but I insisted. This year when he came to fix an issue with that tank which was still under warranty, not only did he deal with the warranty people which I really appreciated, I was also able to see first hand how that part the he suggested had save my tank from potential damage by collecting small metal fragments that could have ended up in the actual tank. He adds this standard on any installation of this kind of tank. To me that shows the honesty and integrity he works with. There is no doubt in my mind that he takes pride in the work he does. You can see it on his instagram page. I've learned quite a lot about plumbing do's and don'ts from it.

We used JayKom Plumbing for our complex bathroom construction. We were basically creating a brand…read morenew bathroom in an old bedroom. So the job required a plumbing contractor to create an entirely new plumbing system for a shower, tub, toilet and double vanity. And to make it even more difficult, our floors are solid, so the piping and electrical systems all had to be in the bedroom and closet below the new bathroom. It was an intricate system of pipes and valves and who-knows-what in two rooms on two floors. After the initial conversation with Jay, it was clear we had found the very best plumbing contractor imaginable. He was meticulous in his work, a creative problem-solver, has an encyclopedic knowledge of the art and science of plumbing, and is one of the very best customer service professionals I have ever worked with. At every step of the way, he explained what he was doing and why, worked closely with the general contractor and electrician, cleaned up after himself, and made sure we were 100% satisfied with every element he worked on. The final bathroom is spectacular, and we would never use another plumber. Ever. But Jay deserves even more kudos than that. Most of the times he came to our house over the 5-6 weeks of construction, he brought an apprentice. He was a polite young man, and very eager to learn. And it was inspiring listening to Jay teach his craft. The apprentice wasn't a lackey getting coffee or just watching; Jay took the time to carefully instruct him how and why he was doing what he was doing. It would have been far easier to do it all himself, but that would have provided little value to his apprentice. I enjoyed listening to him provide instruction when I could hear them talking. It was real proof of just how much Jay cares about people, and loves what he does. He's a rare find.
