If you are one of those unfortunate people out there who happen to own a home and can't call a…read morelandlord to fix your troubles, you tend to rely on certain groups of people to help you out when daily living in your home goes south. Take for instance, a 3-year-old in a 2nd floor bathroom with plenty of toilet paper and a toilet that will not stop running. The power of water is an awesome sight to behold, but when it comes dripping and pouring through your 1st floor ceiling, your shock and awe tends to belong more to the panic variety than wonder and amazement. For those of you who have not had this life experience, I offer these sage bits of experiential wisdom: 1) don't panic, 2) shut off the water, 3) get towels and mops, 4) call a plumber, 5) pray (can't hurt), and 6) call Power Dry. My family was the victim of just such an incident this past week, and needless to say you do feel rather helpless and worried when you see an upstairs bathroom turn into a sequel of "A River Runs Through It". Sooner rather than later, you are going to want to call professionals who can get to scene and help alleviate the moisture problem, for fear of mold setting in. That's where Power Dry comes in. We were fortunate enough to be home when this happened, so the damage was contained fairly readily. Our insurance agent (State Farm) recommended Power Dry, as they were a preferred provider for these types of situations. Although our guys were way over in Missouri on another case at the time we called, they got to our house as quick as possible and were able to start hooking up industrial blowers and dehumidifiers relatively quickly. The whole process probably took just under an hour. They were very methodical and certainly gave the impression that they had seen these situations many times before and knew what to do. The sound of several blowers and dehumidifers can be rather disturbing ... sort of like living on the tarmack at KCI. But you do what you have to do. After 48 hours, they were able to come back and take most of the equipment out, and another 48 hours later we were cleared to have all of the remaining equipment removed. The guys who provided service to us were friendly, knowledgable, and even dealt well with our excited 3-year-old daughter. I don't recommend going out of your way to try and find an excuse to get the Power Dry folks over to your domicile anytime in the foreseeable future, but if you need them, they are a great bunch of guys and ladies to have on your side in a tough situtation. A+++

I have very mixed feelings about Power Dry. We originally hired them for water mitigation after our…read morehome flooded, and that specific team did a great job. Based on that, we hired their restoration department to put our home back together. That was a massive mistake. The restoration process was extremely disorganized. We were promised a project manager to oversee everything, but we had a revolving door of different people. We effectively had to act as our own general contractors, communicating constantly just to ensure the work got done. After the work was finished, the refinished floorboards started lifting. Power Dry dragged their feet for months before coming to look at it, and then completely refused to fix it. They blamed the issue on the 'humidity' in our home--an absurd excuse considering we have lived in this house for 14 years without ever having this issue before. Because they refused to stand behind their work, we withheld our final payment until the floor was fixed. Instead of working with us, they placed a lien on our house. We had to hire an entirely different contractor to fix Power Dry's mistakes. We offered to pay Power Dry the remaining balance minus what we paid another contractor to fix the problem. We ultimately had to hire an attorney to get the situation settled and the lien removed from our property. If you have a flood, their mitigation team is fine. But I would strongly advise against ever using their restoration department.

There are two things that I Looooove....supporting locally owned small businesses and good customer…read moreservice. I got both from All Dimensions. Being new to the area I depend heavily on customer reviews on yelp, yahoo, google etc... While this company only had 1 yelp review, I had a good feeling about them after reviewing their website and decided to give em a try. I called to inquire about whole house carpet cleaning and got a same day appointment for an inspection. While I wasn't planning on doing carpet repair, there were some areas needed so I went ahead. They did a very good job on both the carpet cleaning and repairs. I had a late appointment but they were prompt and worked diligently. They also charge the cleaning by the room instead of sq. feet. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend to others.

First let me say I'm a big animal lover. So my house sees lots of wear and tear. We've lost two…read moredogs and gained two dogs from puppy stage since moving in and laying all new carpet and tile 7 years ago. There just never seemed to be the right time to have someone to come in and clean. You know as dogs get older they have incontinence issues. And as you gain puppies there is the house breaking time... oh and there was only 5 days between the loss and the addition. Apparently I'm a soul who can't live with out a dog. Oh yeah I'm hear to talk about Ed Bledsoe and his company All Dimensions Floor Care. It was my mistake for choosing a light grout but honestly I haven't seen the true color since I laid the tile myself. The grout stands out the most but the carpets looked great. I even had them seal and polish the granite counter tops that I never seem to get around to maintaining while they were here. I always have the intention of sealing them but there always seems to be something else that makes me forget. Honestly it's only been about 6 months but I'm considering having them back cause now I can see the mud the dogs are tracking in. I can't believe I waited so long to begin with. Bottom line: Ed exceeded my expectations from his on time arrival to the detail and professional work he did. Totally recommend this company. He knows what he is doing.
