Because of this positive first impression, we decided to continue working with them to rebuild our basement (new floors, dry wall, etc.). Every step of the process since then has been like pulling teeth. The lead contractor is completely absent, he doesn't return calls for over a week at a time and the only reason we ever hear from him is when we call the main company line and they prod him to return our calls. We go a weeks at a time between steps forward. We've never been given a timeline or any sense of how long this will continue. It's been 3 MONTHS since our basement flooded. The remediation took less than a week, but we're still waiting to make ANY progress with the rebuild team. I would never recommend this company to anyone for rebuild services. They have been unhelpful, unprofessional, and overall a huge disappointment. Edit for more context: In all honestly, I originally typed out this review ever a year ago. He looked the situation over closely and told me what I needed and gave me the name of a company that does that type of work. My neighbor asked for his opinion on her situation and he said her guttering was too small for the volume of water. He sent a crew out four days later and completed the job for her. One of the crew members noticed something had been done wrong by another company when he got up on the roof. She is going to have Eldon and Sons correct that before it becomes a bigger issue. I also had two replacement windows go bad. I called Jerry at Eldon and Sons and he ordered the replacements which were installed the day they did my neighbor's guttering job. No charge. No hassle. They were glad to take care of the problem. If all businesses related to construction and otherwise did business the way Eldon and Sons does, there would be a lot more happy homeowners. We're notorious for ignoring our gutters until it's a big issue so we knew it was going to be a big job. When my husband decided to book them he realized they didn't have any real info online and that gave him some pause, but after chatting with the owner we took the chance. They showed up on time, were very affordable, kind, and did the project well, picking up all debris and leaving our yard just as clean as they found it.
